I googled a Vin number for a car they have for sale and it shows as a salvage.

( Google-
VIN 3N1CB7AP0HY285931- "This VIN belongs to a grey 2017 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo Sedan. It is equipped with a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine and has a salvage history."

Well, on their Offerup post it reads as no salvage record found.

( their post-----
"Vehicle history report
VinAudit did not find a salvage record
No accidents reported
Buy VinAudit report for $1.99)"

Who is lying here? Google or the dealership? If the car has a salvage title the dealership should disclose that info.
I am guessing that is not wrong to sell salvage cars since I seen some dealerships have them for sale but what is wrong is not disclosing so that clients can make their own decision to risk their money buying salvage cars or not. Please be careful when buying used cars.

Mr. AL,

The vehicle you referenced is a clean-title vehicle. Do you review the CarFax or the official title record before posting your review?

The Goggle search result you quoted appears be referring to the vehicle’s auction history. A vehicle having been listed or sold through Copart does not automatically mean it has salvage title.
Copart sells many clean-title, repossessed, theft-recovery, hail damaged and insurance vehicles in addition to salvage vehicles.

We fully disclose the title status of every vehicle we sell and encourage all customers to review the CarFax, AutoCheck, or any independent vehicle history report before making a purchase.

We respect customer feedback, but in this case your statement that the vehicle has a salvage title is inaccurate. If you choose to update your review based on the verified title information, we would appreciate it.

Thank you for your feedback, and for helping keep the information accurate for future buyers.

- A&M Cars
