Las reglas de uso de Wowpilot — para reseñadores y para empresas.

Last updated 28 Sep 2026. Plain-language terms — have your own counsel check them against the law where you operate.

1. The deal

Use Wowpilot — read, rate, claim a page — and you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree with them, the site isn't for you.

2. Your account

  • You're 16 or older.
  • You gave us a real email address and you keep your password to yourself.
  • One person, one account. Extra accounts used to pump a score or sink one get every account involved suspended.
  • What happens under your account is yours until you tell us it was hijacked.

3. Ratings you write

Your rating stays your copyright. By publishing it here you give Wowpilot a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to show it, distribute it, syndicate it and quote it — including to search engines and AI assistants — with your display name attached.

Every rating must describe your own first-hand experience and follow the rating rules. We can hold, edit for rule compliance, or remove a rating that doesn't. Deleting your account removes your ratings from the public site.

4. Running a business page

  • Claim only businesses you own or are authorised to represent. Domain verification is the test; lying to pass it gets the claim revoked.
  • Reply to as many ratings as you like — replies follow the same rules as ratings.
  • Invitations go to real customers only. Bought lists and blasts get the page suspended.
  • The only legitimate way to challenge a rating is a well-founded report against a specific rule. Anything else — pressure, incentives, impersonating a reviewer — is grounds for losing the page.

Businesses can subscribe to plans that add invitations, website widgets, integrations and insights. Plans are bought per business, one year at a time, in a single payment — nothing renews automatically. When the paid year ends the page returns to Free, unless another year has been paid for. No plan, at any price, changes a rating or a score.

6. Things you can't do here

  • Scrape the site beyond what robots.txt allows.
  • Probe, disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the platform.
  • Pretend to be someone else — a person, a business, or Wowpilot.
  • Post anything unlawful, threatening, harassing, or that tramples someone else's rights.
  • Buy, sell or trade ratings outside the verified-invitation programme.

7. Other people's names and marks

Business names, logos and trademarks on Wowpilot belong to their owners and appear only to identify those businesses. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, tell us what, where and why, and we'll act on it.

8. No promises

Wowpilot is provided as it is and as it's available. A rating is the opinion of the person who wrote it, not a statement of fact by Wowpilot. We don't guarantee the site will always be up, always be error-free, or that any rating is accurate — and to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for decisions you make based on what you read here.

9. Losing access

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, the rating rules or the law. You can close your own account whenever you want from your account page.

10. Changes to these terms

The date at the top changes, and material changes are announced on your account overview the next time you sign in. Keep using the site after that and the new terms apply.

11. Which law applies

The law of the jurisdiction where Wowpilot's operating entity is registered. Raise any dispute with us first at [email protected] — most things get sorted there.

12. Customer data you send us (data processing)

When you connect a store or website — the Shopify app, the WordPress plugin, or the API — and let Wowpilot invite your customers, you are the controller of your customers' personal data and Wowpilot processes it for you, as your processor. This section is the data processing agreement between us; it forms part of these terms and needs no separate signature.

  • What we receive. For each order you send or that your store tells us has shipped: the customer's name, email address, order number, and the names of the products ordered. Nothing else — no addresses, phone numbers or payment details.
  • What we do with it. Only what you asked for: send one review invitation per order and at most one reminder, link the resulting review to the products bought, and show you who was invited. We never sell it, never use it for our own marketing, and never contact your customers about anything else.
  • Your instructions. Your settings — the delay after fulfilment, reminders on or off, the connection itself — are your instructions to us. Disconnecting the store or uninstalling the app stops all new processing at once.
  • People who work on it. Only Wowpilot staff who need it to run and support the service, bound by confidentiality. Every time someone opens or exports your invitation list, it is written to an access log.
  • How it's protected. Customer email addresses are encrypted in our database (AES-256-GCM) with a separate key, and lookups use a keyed fingerprint instead of the address. Everything travels over HTTPS; access tokens to your store are stored encrypted; backups are encrypted.
  • Sub-processors. Brevo (sends the invitation emails) and our hosting provider (servers, database and backups). We'll give notice on this page before adding another, and you can object by disconnecting.
  • Your customers' choices. Every invitation carries a one-click "stop invitations" link, and we honour it for your business — or for every business on Wowpilot, if the customer chooses that.
  • Requests and deletion. We help you answer your customers' requests to see or erase their data. Shopify's customer-data and shop-erasure requests are handled automatically; for anything else, write to [email protected].
  • How long. Invitation data is erased 90 days after it was sent. When you uninstall or disconnect, anything still queued is deleted, and the rest follows within 90 days. A review the customer chose to write is theirs and stays under the rating rules.
  • If something goes wrong. If we learn of a breach affecting your customers' data, we tell you without undue delay — within 72 hours — with what happened, what data was involved and what we're doing about it.
  • Checking on us. Ask and we'll answer reasonable questions about how we meet this section, in writing.

Your side: you have a lawful basis to share your customers' details with us for review invitations, you tell your customers about it in your own privacy notice, and you send us only real customers of your own business.
