This hotel is great location with dining options in walking distance (fast food & one full service restaurant). The first entrance is narrow, but they do have two entrances. The surrounding streets makes it a bit complicated to drive into, but you can easily make a U-turn depending on what direction you are coming from. You have quick access to main roads that make the location easy to access. More restaurants in driving distance. Decent distance from the NRG with easy route to the stadium. The suites are very spacey and comfy. The regular rooms are decent and clean. Rooms stay cold (avoid room 503) The beds are bouncy. Shower pressure good. It's not topnotch, but a convenient & safe location. Free parking. Indoor swimming pool & hot tub. None of the equipment in the fitness center was working during my stay. None of the equipment had plugs, which is odd for needing repairs. I also noticed an older stages photo of the fitness center shows no plugs at all. Free breakfast. Great room rates. No sketchy people around. Security. Elevators are a bit old. The back one is very small.

First time staying here. We had business at MD Anderson and this place was very conveniently located just a block away from where we were needing to go the next morning.
Parking is free and a little limited with a handful of disabled spots in the back of the lot. Check-in was a breeze and the clerk was very friendly.
There is a laundry room, indoor pool, and small weight room.
There was an old musty smell in the lobby and also in the room when we made it there.
We stayed on the 4th floor with a nice view to the north. The beds were very comfortable and we slept fine.
When I turned in the TV there was no picture but the sound was coming through just fine. I’m pretty savvy with things and tried rebooting the device to the TV. That did the trick and after about 10 minutes it worked fine again. If my mom was staying by herself she would have had to get maintenance to address the issue.
The door security latch was also just barely hanging in and probably would have been ripped out with little effort. The shower was nice but the water temperature was sensitive and you could easily make it scalding hot.
Free breakfast in the morning was nice and it started at 6:30 which was a little late for us as we had appointments at 7 so we only had time to grab a coffee and muffin.
The breakfast was a typical layout with the staff actually serving the hot items to you.
We would stay here again just for the location and the price was reasonable at $130 total at checkout.

If the price I see online is $77 then that is what I should get it for, not 90$ and that was discounted cause my husband was having surgery. The carpet in the room was sticking to my socks. Oh and if you are paying cash expect to pay a 50$ deposit. The hot tub didn't work and the place smelled musty. I found it funny that the info card on the back of the door priced an overnight stay at $500. The free breakfast was the nicest thing in the place.
The workers could learn some elevator etiquette. Always assume someone is in the elevator. Let us out before you come in.

I was a first time guest at this hotel in September 2023 as I was in Houston for a visit at MD Anderson. I was unfamiliar with the area and researched many hotels looking primarily at price and location. This hotel fit both of my needs. My room was very comfortable and was a true sanctuary as I was there for medical reasons and not a vacation - it was alwasy nice to come back to my extremely comfortable king bed. The staff was kind and helpful and it was very nice to have the shuttle service available. I did have to walk back from an appointment at night and felt safe doing so. The breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. The menu changed a bit each day and was actually served to you by some very nice ladies. They do have a laundry facility which is great for longer stays and the front desk will provide laundry detergent. I did not use the pool so cannot speak to that but it looked clean and nice. If you are in the area for medical treatment I suggest this hotel as it should meet your needs.

We enjoyed our stay when my wife had an appointment a few days ago. The shuttle driver was a hoot! The motel was is great shape. A little musty smell in the room, but it was clean and everything in perfect working order. I, in fact couldn't smell anything different, it was my wife who noticed the smell. When we checked in , the poor front desk girl was having to do several different jobs at once. But she kept a smile on her face and was very pleasant to everyone! Breakfast was outstanding.

We stayed here last week while my father was in the hospital and will continue to do so throughout his treatment.
The price was good for the close location and decent rooms. The front desk ladies were very helpful throughout our stay. The fact that it has breakfast in the mornings is a nice touch as well.
I TRUELY recommend this place if you need a quick place to stay while a loved one is in the hospital.

Stayed here for a couple of nights, 1st time in the Houston area and was very happy. Pool is indoors, so it gets a little loud with kids playing (just a warning for those that are sound sensitive). Room was nice, bed comfortable, parking lot was kinda weird and hard to figure out initially. There is no elevator that goes to the parking place under the hotel, so if you require an elevator, don't park under the hotel, park in the lot at the back or side of the hotel. Rear elevator is still broken, so having to walk the entire length of the hotel kinda sucks. Id definitely stay here again.

Room was average but definitely in need of updates and cosmetic repairs. The lobby is nice and smelled great. The rest of the common areas are pretty awful. The biggest items we noticed were the dirty/stained drop ceiling tiles, garbage cans catching leaks in the ceiling, and rusted/peeling/cracking trim around doors and floors. The pool was absolutely FREEZING and the hot tub wasn’t working which was incredibly disappointing because those were the only reasons we selected this hotel. When we brought it to the front desk’s attention, they told us sorry but didn’t offer any solutions and didn’t appear to care much.

We travel a lot and have fairly low expectations for hotels but this one was terrible enough to warn and notify others of our experience. We read the reviews and booked despite our reservations, and I regret not finding another hotel.

The front staff was friendly and the front lobby was very clean and smelled great. I was surprised because of some of the reviews I read. I was expecting a filthy hotel that smelled horribly. This was not the case in my experience. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. We had plenty of towels, soap and shampoo. There were no broken fixtures and the water heated up very quickly. I felt very safe, so I’m perplexed as to why some people did not. I come for cancer treatments every two weeks and we will definitely stay here again. Oh, and our room smelled just fine. I did not smell marijuana anywhere in the hotel. The price is great and free breakfast is a plus. My husband and I really like this hotel and we found it just as good as the other more expensive hotels, which we have stayed at. I am truly grateful we finally found such a good and cost effective hotel.

My husband had an interview to Baylor Medical
School and we were looking for a safe, clean place that would be a walking distance to school. We found the place! We had amazing experience. Every and I mean EVERY person who works on staff was very caring, nice and willing to help. We were greeted with smiles and lots of help. I am a clean snob when it comes to staying in other places. The room was super clean. We had our own living room, bedroom, fridge, coffee machine, etc. parking was easy and free. Breakfast was good and free. We would totally stay there again. They did early check in for us and made sure we were happy! Thank you everyone for a nice visit.
