There is such a high level of care. The staff is always kind and listens to our concerns. My mother feels comfortable there and comes out stronger. The case manager La Shawn is amazing and makes sure mom is comfortable at Encompass and once she is released home. Having the Encompass team support and help, makes a difference and we can give better care to my mom when she is home. Can't recommend them enough. If you have a love one who has been hospitalized, I recommend you send them to Encompass The Woodlands for strengthening and better outcome when they get home.

This is the first time I have stayed in a place like Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital. It was one of the best decisions I have made. Dr. Majeski and all his staff were great. The Nurses & Aides were very attentive & professional.The Physical & Occupational Therapists made sure to work me back to a healthy condition. A major surgery had me checking in, in a wheelchair and eleven days later I was able to function well enough to go home. I am truly grateful for everyone there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing care.

This was my fourth visit. Thanks to my wonderful PT and OT, who got me up and walking on my new prosthesis. Thanks to the nurses and CNA’s who provided great care.

Everyone was kind, helpful, professional. The OPT, and PT therapists gave me great work outs. Can't remember all the names, but Max, Lillian, Nebra, Tatitani, Jonathan and especially Lindsey. Wish I could remember other names because there were others who made my stay pleasant. I highly recommend this facility.

My husband went to this facility after his heart attack and he received such stellar care. Every one we came into contact with was so kind and went out of their way to help. I never once worried about my husband in their care because they exuded such care and compassion. I would highly recommend this facility.

Everyone worked together very cohesively & ORGANIZED. Being a Senior Citizen I greatly appreciated that my DIGNITY was respected. The staff from Drs. to the dietary help were Professional but also you could speak with them like “real people.” Discharge planning was started well in advance, not a rush job. They addressed all my issues and always were very pleasant about it. This place is STELLAR !!!

WOW! What an amazing facility from top to bottom. Unfortunately (or fortunately) we had to spend our Christmas holiday at this facility as my 80-yr old mom was in rehab for a broken leg. They treated her like royalty and the staff was very friendly and caring. Best of all, their rehab personnel were top notch and caring. My mom had to do 3 hrs of rehab a day split into three 1-hr sessions and my mom enjoyed her time although difficult. She went from bed-ridden to being able to stand and walk with her walker and transfer to her bed or couch from her wheelchair. She can also use the restroom by herself with the assistance bars we out in our bathroom for her convenience. Overall, I would rate them 10 out of 5 stars because they deserve more that 5 stars!!! The facility is kept clean, the food is good, the rehab gym is top notch and we got a special treat on Christmas day as the owner cooked brisket for the patients, staff, AND patient families!

This is specifically for the Case Managment and Operations Team. They are bullies and follow the CYA Policy to a T! They bullied my Dad into making a decision to discharge to a Nursing Home when that was never his discharge plan in the first place. I made a complaint and all the Quality Manager can do is take the side of her employees and not of the patient. It is really awful how messed up people who have decided to have a healthcare career and care about nothing but money and fake metrics. Also, I believe they had something to do with my Dad's medicare appeal being denied because they didn't send in the medical records requested. These people are truly a piece of work and make the process for family advocates that care about their family member's care while they are supposed to be recovering truly excruciating! I want yall to know that you are the worst part of Encompass. They refused to work with a new DME company they are not "contracted" with to come and fit my Dad for a power wheelchair, after the company they are contracted with Great American picked up the loaner with no replacement all of a sudden. They also came in my Dad's room multiple times a day pressuring him to pick a place off of a random list that was not all inclusive they provided for him. They have lied multiple times trying to cause friction between me and my Dad. Telling me one thing and him another. The lack of professionalism, education and care to truly out of this world!! The therapy is ok, the nursing is ok and the facility is ok. It's not 5 stars like these reviews from years ago are stating. Money is the only one winning here! That is all they care about! They put the patient last after their first love money! Also my Dad has a condition that is on the IRF list of 13 conditions for Medicare patients to be discharged at 60% for Medicare reimbursement. So they are pushing him out the door with the quickness. No facility is perfect but do the research and read the reviews of places. Make sure they care about their patients and put them first. This place does not do that. And the Case Managers have free reign and backup because of reimbursement aka Money!

My wife's ID and bank card were stolen while she was there. Yet no one cares or done anything about it. The hardest part no one person held accountable. Thieves work here Rob you blind if given the chance. We will never return and never send another family member or friend to this place. I can make the changes before Encompass will I guarantee it!!!!

Great care. Great staff. Caring and helpful. I have been an RN for 26 years and an FNP for 14 years. I have been in private practice and worked pretty much any RN might work including oil company occupational health nurse, Cath lab, ICU, GI lab, floor nursing, etc. just retired from providing care to make prisoners including death row inmates.
THIS was the best experience possible. Staff is intelligent and caring. After weeks in ICU on vent due to Covid, having worn diaper and being unconscious my skin is in PERFECT CONDITION. that alone is quite impressive!

There was a doctor or four that saw me each day. And Sam, their PA, made rounds every morning and was always available to answer questions and motivate me to safely push myself …he really is a a genius!!! I am so impressed with him!

Dietary was awesome. They have the best tasting and well prepared food, better than most restaurants.
My husband spent the night every night in chair bed when strived at rehab so he could learn how to safely assist in my care at home and they always provided him with a guest meal tray.
Travis in PT pushed me enough but not so much that i struggled for more oxygen.
Speech therapists were incredibly helpful and encouraging. And although i lost so much muscle that i cannot walk yet, i already had RN visit to check central line and trach sites and OT and PT. In am finally hopeful that i will recover and build muscle and walk again.
Frankly, anyone that gave this place a poor rating obviously has no idea of proper expectations. Bruises happen all the time when we are on blood thinners to prevent clots and the length of stay is set by insurance or Medicare based on need and outcome potential.
Great place!!!
