What stands out in this hotel is the service and warmth of the people staffing it. Eric at front desk went out of his way, and is the very reason I chose to stay loyal to the Hilton brand. Its people like him that will make me come back to the hotel. The hotel itself is well kept, with some spots needing updating. The location is great, walkable to Galleria. Nothing stands out with the hotel physically.
11/10 for service.

Long story short we ended up desperate for a hotel room and a kind employee not only managed to find us a room, but allowed us to check in early. His kindness and assistance during a terrible day will be long remembered. Many kind thanks to you Will!

After checking in I had a couple of minor issues. The staff was able to get things on the right track quickly. The next morning the GM Jacque Bailey went the extra mile. Service was impeccable! Big shout out to Skyler the bar tender! Will definitely be back.

We had a great time and made wonderful memories. Excellent customer service. Jacoby was a great help by answering all our questions and concerns. The cookies were warm and yami. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends. The free shuttle took us to the places we wanted to visit. Checkin-in and out was easy. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a wonderful time.

My family and I stayed here as I was running the Houston Marathon, and I must say, the service, the room, the ambiance, and the hotel are wonderful. It's about a 10-min walk to the George R Brown Convention Center and only a stone's throw away from the Toyota Center. Parking isn't free, but that is to be expected as most hotels in Downtown Houston operate like that. I especially like that it's quiet in the rooms. I can occasionally hear other people opening and closing their doors, but the walls are pretty soundproof. It's great if you need a good night's rest, which I did before the marathon. I also noticed that it's dog-friendly as I saw other hotel guests with their dogs. I will definitely book with Tru the next time I run the Houston Marathon.

I had an amazing stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Galleria, and I want to give a special shoutout to Ginita at the front desk. She truly went above and beyond to make my birthday feel special and surprised me with a room upgrade. Her kindness, professionalism, and warm attitude made me feel genuinely valued as a guest.
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located near the Galleria. And of course, you can’t forget the famous warm DoubleTree cookies at check-in, such a simple touch, but it really makes you feel welcomed and sets the tone for the stay.

Hotel built six months ago so very clean with comfortable beds. Nice pool on a hot day with loungers to relax on. Good breakfast. Use spot hero app of you don't want to pay the ridiculous parking charges. I paid $20 for 2 nights across the street albeit in an open lot. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything about my stay here was outstanding. Check-in was smooth, and from that point on the team consistently went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The room was immaculate, roomy, and had such a cozy vibe that it instantly felt like home.
The hotel is clearly well cared for, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax after a busy day. Plus, the location couldn’t have been better — close to dining, shopping, and local highlights.

What a great three day getaway we had here! If you're in town for a convention or sports event and want to have easy access to the downtown attractions, this is the place. Sarah took great care of us and was super helpful and friendly. Angela from the kitchen crew was also very nice in addition to Tasha with her friendly, smiling face that greeted us on our last evening. The pool is so relaxing and everything is kept so clean and fresh. We will be back! :)
