So I recently stayed at Townsend Memorial for a cervical spine surgery the ACDF. during my stay, the staff was exceptional. They made me feel comfortable. They manage my pain very well. They were very polite and caring while caring for me. Dr Small and his team are well oiled machine. They work very well together and I’m so glad that I was in good hands. Before seeing Dr Small, I had seen two other doctors that dismissed my symptoms And their only solution was to put a Band-Aid on my injury. I’m so glad that Dr Small took the time to listen to me and listen to my symptoms And then came up with a solution to fix my quality of life. Dr Small has given me hope again for my future and that I don’t have to live in chronic Pain. I’m so grateful and I would highly recommend them to anybody Truly life-changing! I wanted to give a shout out to some of the wonderful staff that took care of me during my stay; first of all Alexis at the front desk was such a wonderful person to greet you while you walk in. She had a smile on her face. She was very kind and helped me fill out the paperwork that I needed for my check in for preop vitals. next I was helped by Selena the phlebotomist and she was excellent. I loved her realness with me made me feel comfortable and she’s very good at what she does. I didn’t feel any pain. After surgery, my nurse, Shera and Annette Took such good care of me making sure I had everything I needed and managed my pain that first night. I had nurse Kee and Nancy that night and they were wonderful as well. All of the staff made me feel like I was a family member that they were taken care of, and that says a lot! Before surgery I met with some of the team there was Joe from anesthesia and he was wonderful. Made me feel comfortable. I was very nervous before surgery and he eased my anxiety. I also talked to Dr. Foster and he explained everything that they were going to do and made me feel comfortable the nurse Amy that checked me in that morning was amazing. She got me all ready and comfortable for my procedure There was another nurse Jamil and a female doctor that also came in to help, I just wanted to say a big thank you to everybody that was included in my surgery and recovery. You’ll have set the bar. I’m really truly grateful I would recommend them to anybody!!
This review is for the deli/cafeteria. Lisa & Karina are always super pleasant and kind. I don’t get a chance to come over here often but when I do, they are always the best. I appreciate happy people and great customer service and they always give that. I work next door and I have been coming here for over a year & each time, they are the same. I have been having a rough day. They made it better.
I went to the cafe at this place and I had the best burger I ever had in a hospital. But what was even better than the burger was the lovely ladies that made the lovely meal. Lisa and Corina were awesome and treated us like family. We also met another outstanding employee named Janelle. Great food and great atmosphere. Happy 21st Bday Lisa!!!!!🍾🍾🍾🎉🎉🎉
Just discharged today after lower back surgery. A review with just some nice words cannot do the staff of this facility justice. The staff is very very good. My experience from start to finish was the best experience I’ve ever had in a medical setting. Special shout out to Christine my nurse, you were wonderful. Hopefully I never have to go back, but if I do I look forward to the special care that all of the doctors and nurses provided from pre op, surgery, and post op gave me.
My husband had surgery at TMH. While waiting in the lobby my MIL and I had breakfast in the cafe. Lisa and Karina were excellent. They greeted us as soon as we walked in with a smile. The food was very fresh. Thank you for an amazing experience.
Came here to drop off a family friend and hadn’t eaten breakfast yet. I decided to go to the cafe not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was actually delicious and they actually cook the food!
I had the sausage breakfast sandwich with hash browns and pancake and had to go for seconds! The staff Karina & Lisa are so kind and attentive! Made me feel like I was a regular 🙂 they deserve double what they’re getting paid. Well worth it!
My husband just had surgery here at Townsen Memorial Hospital Humble yesterday and this is by far the most professional, caring, and attentive hospital we have ever been to and we have been to MANY! The nurses , staff and doctors & anesthesiologists are top notch. The food is excellent. The care received is A++. If you're planning to have surgery, this is the place to choose.
Although y’all are very small hospital, I was very grateful for the kitchen staff, namely Karina and Lisa, who were so welcoming and hospitable. We had an overnight stay after my husband‘s back surgery and Karina made sure that everything we ordered was exactly what we needed, and she took care of the small details and once again the next morning when Lisa brought him his breakfast, it hit the spot. We were there fro Wednesday the 4th through the morning of the 5th. Good job ladies working in the kitchen. I’m sure it’s not an easy job always having to meet the demands of the public, but they had a great attitude and took pride in what they were doing.

I had a hernia surgery at the Spring location and it was excellent. All the staff, nurses, doctors, and anesthesiologist were so professional and very considerate throughout the whole process, including following up with me for the coming days after surgery! I had major surgery which took them no time at all to complete, and had a very smooth recovery, using no pain killers or opiates and only THC for pain management. They were very transparent with billing and had good communication throughout the entire process. 10/10, would highly recommend!!!
I just got home from surgery and I'm so impressed by the team who took care of me today I had to leave a review immediately. I wish I could remember her name, but I can be a complex case with anesthesia, and the anesthesiologist here was fantastic. This is the first time I've ever come out of surgery not overwhelmed with nausea or vomiting. She is amazing. I wish I could have her for any and all future surgeries.
Everyone was so kind and I genuinely feel like they took excellent care of me. Thank you all so much.
