Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons is on a completely different level from UMiami. Columbia feels like a real elite institution with serious standards, real academic weight, and a reputation backed by substance. It represents the kind of medical and research environment where quality actually matters.

UMiami, by comparison, feels mediocre, inflated, and full of empty academic theater. In my opinion, too much of the culture seems driven by favoritism, politics, easy publication credit, and people trying to please the right authority figures rather than proving real ability. The school acts like PhD titles, publication names, and institutional branding automatically equal excellence, but that does not mean much when the actual substance feels weak.

Some UMiami graduates may look successful for a short time through connections, name-dropping, or inflated academic credit, but that is not the same as lasting excellence. Columbia feels like real achievement. UMiami feels like it performs prestige while producing too much shallow, overhyped, and unimpressive work.

Located off of 168th Street in Washington Heights, Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons is a sight to behold!! Inside, this building is really beautiful - it's clean, well-kept, and geographically has nice accessibility to New York-Presbyterian & Columbia University Medical Center. Outside, the architecture is absolutely stunning!!
