Terrific place I always got the help that I needed even if I had insurance somewhere else I always got the Great hospitality. The customer service is terrific on the phone and off the phone and make you feel like you're part of the family. I wouldn't recommend no one else other than Atchison agency.

They always answer calls, personally, in office. They have answers to questions, and solutions to problems. You can tell they actually care about getting things fixed and back to normal as quickly as possible. Personal service that you don't find much anymore.

When the 1800 number to your car and house insurance is more helpful than your agent, it's time to get a new agent.

If you decide to have business with this agency, don't expect professionalism and competency. You will not receive notification emails of your bill coming up even if you're paying them the full amount once a year. Instead they will blame everyone else and even lie and say they did. Ok let's say I believe your lie and give the benefit of doubt, but you pull a fast one and do it twice and upcharge me as well. No, I'll take my business elsewhere.

This review is indeed about you. This was not the issue I had with Valerie. This is my experience with YOUR AGENCY. This is now 2 yrs in a row where we were lied to about not receiving notification of the annual house insurance policy. You can ask your employee Dee about this. I will not remove this. Also, after my car insurance went up by $200, I called and spoke to you specifically about finding a way to reduce the bill. You were NOT helpful in any way and told me that it went up for everyone. However, I called the 1800 number and someone there did help me reduce it. Therefore, the only thing getting removed is you as my agent.

I’ve had this agent for a long time and it always seems like mostly everyone in his office doesn’t know how to provide correct customer service. I shouldn’t have to chase down my own insurance company to have changes made. I emailed first thing in the morning about my changes, never heard a response. I called and spoke with the receptionist for about 20 minutes giving all the details needed, of course all of the “agents” were busy and I was supposed to get a call back, never did. I called back again, new receptionist said I’d have to give her all of the info again because she didn’t know who I spoke to earlier, I asked to speak to an agent instead, again they were all “busy”. I told her I’d call back in about 15 minutes when they were still open for another 35 minutes she said “ok great”. Called back, went to voicemail. Called about 5 times in a row no one answered any of those times. I’m switching agents so I don’t have to deal with this incompetent office.
