Professional Tender Loving Care .. from Doctors , the staff , Nurses , Technician nurses , Case Managers are working hard to improve Amorn in order to recover her stroke and continue improve to get back to Amorn daily life as usual .. Speech therapy, Occupational therapy and physical therapy are in the excellent teams , work together in the good objectives and practical after stroke the person can exercise and try harder to come back in the physical before stroke even better than the plan with the knowledge , loving and caring in all
Dimensions and all Angle .. I shall not forget cleaning team and kitchen for Breakfast Lunch and dinner for my allergies and concern for my Health

I am submitting this response to clarify my experience, particularly regarding my discharge and post-discharge care.

While my inpatient care during therapy sessions was adequate, my discharge process was unacceptable and demonstrated a serious lack of clinical judgment and follow-through.

I am a diabetic patient. At the time of discharge, I should not have been released without a full physical inspection of my body for open wounds or skin breakdown. This did not occur. I later discovered an open wound that required attention, and this failure represents negligence in discharge assessment, especially given my medical risk factors.

After discharge, when I realized I needed urgent guidance, I called and pleaded for help. My call was not returned by the nurse as promised. When I followed up, I was told that Dr. Siddiqui stated he “had nothing to do with me” once I was discharged. That response was deeply concerning and contrary to appropriate continuity of care. Discharge does not absolve a physician or facility from responsibility when a patient reports a serious post-discharge complication related to their care.

I want to be clear: my care was not terrible, but it was not fully acceptable either. It was adequate during my stay, but the discharge planning, final medical assessment, and post-discharge support failed me. As a medically vulnerable patient, I should never have been left without proper evaluation or a clear path for urgent follow-up.

This experience caused me unnecessary distress and risk, and it must be addressed to prevent harm to future patients.

I arrived on a Friday Night. I Had Hip Replacement.
Due to short staff on weekends, they did not get me out bed till Noon on Monday, which was very upsetting. My body stiffened up so much and was hurting. It’s a waste of money to enter on a weekend.
The food was horrible. They serve and heat up in these plastic brownish food server with a lid which creates a horrible smell. They did change this for me. They served my food in plastic containers.
Then room next to me had a patient that would scream and cuss for over an hour once to twice a day and night, which caused major anxiety for me. They never offered to move me to another room. I was ready to go home because of this.
The therapy was not the best. I have had 4 surgeries in 3 years. I’ve been in many rehab facilities. This one is not top of list for me.
The staff is very friendly and so are the doctors.

The staff and facility were great during my 7 day stay for knee replacement inpatient rehabilitation. I highly recommend this facility. Dr. Kim, Nurse Agnes, Nurse Craig, OT Ana and PT Ricky were All-Stars!!!!

My sister stayed her after a challenging and scary health issue that kept her in hospital a month. The care here was awesome. The nurses and aides were caring and efficient. Docs checked in daily. And therapy, WOW! They know their stuff and know just how to drill down to what will get you on your way home. My sister enjoyed the majority of the food here and even wanted to mimic what she got there, at home, to continue getting good nutrition. I felt looked after too by the team and they make sure you know how to help your loved one at home. We only had one small concerning experience and it was addressed swiftly and professionally. Forever grateful. Many blessings for a wonderful holiday season and New Year to you and yours!

Wish I could give 0 stars!!! No one comes when the nurse assistance button is pressed. Left with bed sore blisters, my penis hole is ripped left and right also going downward due to rough handling and carelessness. We were never notified I had double pneumonia. Needs were neglected regularly. Most of the nursing staff was very lazy and dismissive. They never cleaned me properly (only used wipes no soap and water) only when my family came and repeatedly asked for it. I was not turned on my sides every 2 hours which caused some big blisters on my rear. They punctured my rectum never told me anything (I can’t feel due to paralysis) I don’t recommend this facility to care for my pet fish people were yelling for help and no one would go to see about them. Please be on top of things if you or your family ends up here! Now THERAPY STAFF gets 10 stars love love them

5+ stars. Encompass health was immensely wonderful for my father. I would recommend this rehabilitation place to everyone. They go above and beyond to make their patients comfortable and actually put in the care and support to help their patients out.

We sent my grandpa to encompass for a 1 week rehab, we came and checked on him and he wasn’t doing any better. They then said he was able to walk and change clothes in his own, and when they discharged him he couldn’t do anything independently and still cannot.

This is definitely the place to go for rapid rehab, friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable staff, and doctors that really care. This was my 3rd experience, twice at the Katy location and also once in the Cypress location. All safety protocols are followed. The food is good and love getting the late night snacks. I don’t know all of the staff’s names, but my rehab doctor, Dr. VanDongen, was awesome as well as the neurologist and my case manager. You’ll be checked in to your own private room with private bathroom. You’ll have a large screen TV with cable and plenty of storage space for your personal items. The physical, speech/memory and occupational therapists are incredible, challenging you all the way through 3 hours of intensive therapy a day. Every time I came in on a stretcher and walked out independently after only 5-7 days. If you’re ready to do the work, this is the place to be. I don’t know how much more I can say. My mom did her physical therapy here after a prolonged hospital stay and they were excellent. The management and staff is the best I’ve seen anywhere. They were attentive, compassionate, knowledgeable and supportive throughout the process. I can’t say enough good things about them, because my mom recovered very promptly under their care and direction. Thank you to everyone at Encompass for doing what you do. You don’t go unseen, we deeply appreciate your quality of care and professionalism.
