I took my grandfather to the Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center in Sienna on Friday, February 21st, 2025, at approximately 10 AM due to severe chest pain. Given the urgency of his condition, I rushed him inside immediately. Upon arrival, the receptionist continued asking questions instead of ensuring he was taken back right away, even after my grandfather explicitly stated he felt like he was having a heart attack. The only person who showed any urgency or compassion was the security guard, who provided my grandfather with a wheelchair. After briefly stepping out to move my car, I returned to find my grandfather walking to the exam room completely unassisted, still clutching his chest in pain. At no point did any staff member help, despite the obvious emergency. Inside the room, the nurse and triage nurse displayed an alarming lack of urgency. Instead of prioritizing immediate medical intervention, they took his height and weight and then proceeded to ask unnecessary questions—ones he could barely answer. They even asked whether he had eaten something that could cause indigestion. He was struggling to speak and clearly in distress, yet they dismissed his symptoms instead of acting quickly. Then, they asked him to remove his shirt on his own, despite the fact that he was actively in pain. At this point, I had to step in to assist him myself because no one else was helping him. It was beyond unacceptable. After running an EKG, the results were abnormal, yet no one informed us that he was actively having a heart attack. Instead, they ran a second EKG, which came back normal. They did express hesitation about letting us leave, but with the lack of proper care and urgency, we were left with two options: stay there and “wait and see” what happened, or rush him downtown to the Houston Methodist Medical Center, where I knew he would receive the care he deserved. The fact that we were even put in that position is appalling. After wasting over an hour at the Sienna location while my grandfather was suffering a heart attack, I rushed him downtown to the Houston Methodist Emergency Center in the Medical Center. The moment we arrived; the medical team took him into surgery within 30 minutes. The doctor was stunned that the Sienna location allowed us to leave in that condition and confirmed that his situation was critical. The doctor, nurse, and triage nurse working at 10 AM on February 21st, 2025, at the Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center in Sienna provided the worst medical experience I have ever witnessed. My mother, who works for Methodist, was in complete disbelief that her father was treated this way. This is NOT the standard of care that Houston Methodist is known for, and it is unacceptable that a facility carrying the Methodist name operates in this manner. Freestanding emergency centers must be held to the same level of excellence as the main hospital. Patients trust the Methodist name, and that trust should not be betrayed by inadequate care. I cannot stress enough how dangerous and unacceptable the care at this facility was. If my family had not recognized the urgency and transferred him elsewhere, this neglectful treatment could have cost him his life. I strongly urge anyone experiencing chest pain or any other emergency to avoid this location at all costs. I will never take a loved one here again.

I recently had to visit the methodist emergency department Missouri city highway 6,and I was treated by Dr. Ngozi Nweze.Unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected.
Dr Ngozi Nweze didn’t take the time to properly explain my condition or treatment options, leaving me confused and anxious about my diagnosis. Additionally, I felt that my concerns were not fully addressed, and I left the hospital feeling more uncertain about my health than when I arrived.
I felt that the doctor lacked empathy towards the patients. Whenever we asked her any questions, she responded with a noticeable attitude .
I would recommend the hospital take further steps to ensure that patients feel heard and cared for, especially in such high-stress environments. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve patient care in the future.

I spent ten minutes here in November on an evening when it wasn’t busy. The doctor, Bradley Alvin Egbert, looked at the wound, told me it was superficial and unserious, and that all I needed to do was wash it with soap and take prescribed antibiotics. No treatment was given, no tests were run, but for some reason, he marked my visit as Level 4 out of 5, and because he chose the second-most serious visit level, my bill is nearly $4000. He only spent two minutes with me, and literally did nothing but look at the wound and tell me he'd prescribe antibiotics.
Also, he came back to the room three times trying to pressure me into getting a tetanus shot- even though, the first thing he said was that since the dog was vaccinated and the wound was shallow and far from bone, that I had zero risk of contracting tetanus and dying. From the $4000 bill, he made $942.18 for two minutes of interaction and by choosing to mark my visit as Level 4.

NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED BUT DO NOT GO HERE!
The dr YOGITA IS A HARD PASS! HUGE NO!!! She did not address my issue she told me to go to the main hospital.. I came in there for generalized pain due to a major lupus crisis. Was diagnosed with chronic cough! I was diagnosed with a virus last month, and was told I would have a lingering cough! I advised the de of this and I also Advised the dr that I was doing holistic treatment for a month however I was in excruciating pain. She said she wasn’t treating my pain but would treat the cough! And send me to the main hospital. If this place is closer to where I live in sienna and any other time I’ve come here I’ve been assisted why would I drive to the main hospital at 3am. Lack of empathy or care! Very rude very condescending lack of real effort. Will be going to the board

I had a very disappointing experience during my appointment today October 24,2024. After driving a long distance to see the doctor, I ended up waiting for almost an hour in the exam room, feeling uncomfortable and exposed. While I waited, I could hear the doctor in the next room, laughing and joking with other patients, which made me feel disregarded and ignored.
When she finally came in, her attitude was off-putting. She seemed upset and didn’t take the time to address my concerns properly. I asked about my options for ovulation to help me get pregnant again, and instead of offering support, she bluntly stated, “You’re thirty-nine; it’s too late,” and insisted on referring me to a fertility specialist. When I mentioned trying Clomid, she dismissed it outright, saying it wouldn’t work.
Throughout the appointment, I couldn’t shake the feeling that my identity influenced the way I was treated. I felt dismissed and not taken seriously, which added to my discomfort. Overall, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome during the appointment. It seemed like she wasn’t interested in providing me with the care and attention I needed. It’s disheartening to feel like my concerns weren’t valued, especially after waiting so long.
I hope my experience helps others understand what to expect, and I sincerely hope the practice can improve their patient care.

My 4 month old was treated with no empathy! He had a finger that was dripping blood from an accidental snip and the nurse took his precious time “gathering” information that could have been taken after they stopped the bleeding. My baby was also obviously in a lot of pain and needed some Tylenol and medical attention ASAP!!! The nurse was very condescending to us as his parents and told us he had to blow on the babies face to give him the Tylenol, I HAVE NEVER HEARD THIS TO BE TRUE. Since we aren’t medical experts we asked him to do it. I always thought the nurse was suppose to give the medicine not the patient!!! He wanted to teach us how to give the baby Tylenol while the baby is screaming his head off from the pain. It broke my heart at how he was treating my baby. But what he did next has traumatized me and haunts my brain! He then ripped his mask off his face and grabbed my baby face and blew as hard he could have filled with frustration and aggression (the gesture was like he was spitting on my baby versus a blow to get a baby’s attention) and squirted all the Tylenol from the syringe into the baby’s throat obviously making him choke and it was all over his chin. He didn’t even consume any of the medicine. DISGUSTING human being should never be allowed to work with another baby! EVER!!!! I immediately asked for another nurse. The second nurse was patient and consoled us as parents. Although, the experience has already caused us to never want to return. The damage is done.
My husband and I found out from another nurse that is not the way to administer oral medicine to a baby. Especially with Covid!!! He needs to be Fired!!!…this was a innocent and helpless baby! we are still in shock and filled with anger.

What a terrible ER experience. ZERO hurry from anyone. The waiting room is an overgrown triage with people laying in chairs for 7 hours before they even get a bag of fluids. No one seems to have a clue what you are there for and you'll never see a doctor other than the first time you go back. Remind me not to go to the hospital if I'm really sick or having chest pains... OH WAIT....

This hospital is the worst! We took my 90 year old grandma in and the staff were the rudest! It was a joke and they wouldn't update us on anything they kept talking to my grandma who can't hear or barely see they didn't even acknowledge that my older daughter was her care taker they ignored her even at one point a male nurse got in her face and put his finger in her face. I truly hope they get as sick as some of those people were and have better care than they provided next time will choose another hospital
