I delivered in June, but I just HAD TO LEAVE A REVIEW because I remember how great my experience was.
I had an unexpected complication and my baby was showing signs of distress in the womb...resulting in an emergency c-section here. My family and I were truly BLESSED with the care we received! One of the hospital Chaplins named Jared along side my care team prayed before the surgery which really brought my husband and I comfort in such an uncertain time. Such a sweet reminder that the Lord is with us in every circumstance!
My nurses I had throughout were great, but my after delivery nurses were phenomenal!! Hands down the best nurse I had was Anne. When she was on the clock working, she really brought joy, love, and comfort in a room when she entered it. She is the type of person that makes you feel like family! When she rolled my baby down the hall to the Nicu for care, I felt so much comfort knowing he was with her because not only did she provide me with great care, but she was also so responsive and in tune with soothing him. Ingrid who was a tech was also amazing! I would happily deliver here again and would hope to have the same care team and nurse. By far the best hospital burtn experience!!

Came into the emergency room with DKA, it was clean and everything was done in a timely manner. All staff were wonderful and I will be putting in a Daisy recommendation to all staff that cared for me during my stay during the week. I was comfortable and kept in a clean and tidy space, everyone was very friendly and patient with me, understanding of my concerns and willing to explain everything to me in detail. I will 100% be coming here for any and all future needs should they arise and will be recommending to all my friends and family! My new hospital of choice!
I had a Total Knee Replacement on 8/12/25 here at Baytown Methodist per Dr. David Maxfield. We live 3 hours away & needed to find a reputable Dr. affiliated with a Methodist Campus to prevent us from having to go into the Medical Center as we normally would do, due to a recent family crisis. Let’s just say that we had a very positive experience & were so thrilled that we chose Dr. Maxfield & Baytown Methodist! The hospital was so gorgeous, very clean/immaculate & we never encountered a negative person. From walking through the front entrance upon admission to my post op discharge, the Nursing staff, Physicians, Housecleaning, Meal Service went above & beyond to make sure that our needs were met. Excellent care & phenomenal staff ! I would most definitely recommend Baytown Methodist Hospital to friends/family. Will plan on using their services in the future if needed. Wonderful experience!
I just left Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center and it was a great experience. I went in bc I was having really bad pain in my pancreas and began to feel nauseous. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and when one could tell my nausea was getting the best of me he offered me a bag. When I was called back to get my vitals done I was throwing up nonstop but the nurse was very kind and patient. When I was moved to a room the nurses were all great and very pleasant, including the gentleman that did my CT scan. It did take awhile for me to see the doctor but in his defense he was the only doctor and it was very busy. When Dr. Patel made it to me he already informed on my condition and he really took the time to give me a thorough explanation on everything, despite him being so busy he didn’t rush through anything and took his time and even referred me to a PCP as I am in need of one. Excellent job to all that cared for me, they all have impeccable bedside manner!
I arrived yesterday to a friendly receptionist and was seen immediately. My nurse, Melanie, was competent and compassionate. I’ve been in and out of the hospital and ER departments since June and a compassionate nurse makes all the difference. I read so many negative comments about this ER and experienced the opposite. First time at this ER department .I had a cerebral bypass mid July and the recovery pain has become debilitating. Dr. Schmidt was also caring and competent. He ordered a CT scan which was done onsite. I’m so grateful for Melanie and Dr. Schmidt’s help. Very clean facility.
I’ve lived in Sugar Land for over 55 years, and out of countless physicians I’ve encountered many with poor bedside manners today’s physician Mondragon truly stood out. Not only was he kind, knowledgeable, and truly listened, but he was also caring in a way that is rare to find. The entire staff was amazing nurses, and techs
One young man in particular went above and beyond the call of duty. It was clear this was not just a job to him he genuinely cared. He treated my mother and my husband as if they were his own family. I love him to pieces for the compassion and dedication he showed.
The staff is so nice all of them! They are so knowledgeable. I was asking alot of questions and for them to explain certain things and they were patient and explained and repeated themselves until i was comfortable with the information. The ER was cold but the staff was passing out warmed blankets that was so thoughtful. There were therapy dogs 🐕 that came to visit the room that was such a treat. The facility was clean. The hospital strives to put you at ease in a very stressful situation. Thank you for the compassion and the care you gave our family!
