Very deceptive Business practices. I had a preplanned two months in advance procedure.
I made sure that every thing was approved by the insurance company. Four months later I get a $3800 bill from Best choice anesthesiologist that says they’re not in the network. Thanks a lot memorial Hermann surgery center. You all know that this is a very big problem, and you still allow it to happen. I work for a large company with hundreds of employees. So I am spreading the word about memorial Hermann surgery centers and your Out right deceptive business practices. And our HR department has sent out an in-house email to all employees warning them of Memorial Hermann surgery Centers shady deceptive business practices

Horrible experience. Rude staff and doctor don't even seem to care. The nurse said about 10 words to me total. The doctor also tried to argue that testing for A1C is not a part of the yearly physical labs, which is crazy as I been getting it done for years at Memorial Herman during my annual exams. Truth be
told I just think she forgot as she didn't do it for my husband either and told him that she infact forgot. I'm going back to my old doctor.

I was asked to schedule a follow up appointment. First have trouble getting through on the telephone to schedule. After a week I finally was able to make an appointment for six weeks out. Something came up and I had to reschedule. Again, cannot get through to the office. That was months ago.
I am trying to schedule a visit with the cardiologist again and find it impossible to get through
Otherwise happy with all other aspects of UT Physicians. But there is something the cardiology group is missing!

IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY DO NOT GO HERE

Came here yesterday evening around 6:30 PM with severe chest pain and shortness of breath and there wasn’t even a receptionist at the desk. Once the security guard got her to come to the front she took her time typing in all of my information then told me to take a seat and that nurse would come get me soon. That alone is enough for a one star review but wait, there’s more. I sat and waited for 20 minutes in extreme pain and finally a nurse came out but he didn’t take me back he went and sat at an empty computer desk with no paperwork and the computer not even turned on. I expressed my discomfort to the security guard (the receptionist was nowhere to be found again) and she told me to just wait. The nurse got up from the computer and went into what looked like a break room immediately behind the receptionist’s desk and closed the door. I expressed my concern again to the security guard so she went and opened the door and both the receptionist and the nurse were just sitting inside the room. At this point I had been waiting for about 45 minutes so I told them I was leaving and walked out dizzy and short of breath with extreme chest pain and not one of them said a word. I drove myself to another emergency room and was taken back immediately and it turns out that I was having a heart attack, luckily a very mild one. I’m sure that if I would’ve stayed here I would have died either in their incompetent hands or in the waiting room while the staff gossiped. My information is in the system, unless they deleted it, and I still have the wristband from being checked in. 01/27/2021 around 6:00 PM. An African American female receptionist and African American male nurse. Both should be fired and you might be hearing from my lawyer very soon. Do not take your loved ones here.

I tried setting an appointment for an MRI and spoke with someone in scheduling to confirm if they accepted my insurance. After giving all my information, I was told they did. I then contacted my doctor who had to send in a request for my MRI, and Memorial Hermann contacted me back to setup an appointment. I then get a call from Memorial letting me know that they in fact do not accept my insurance. I notified my doctor who said that was odd since they received an authorization code. I contacted Memorial to see what was going on, but they continued to say they didn’t accept my insurance. Which is fine, I get some places don’t accept all insurance, but I feel as if they should know what types of insurance they do and do not accept before setting up any sort of appointments. I do not recommend this location. So many imaging places to choose from that will train their staff to answer the simplest of medical questions - do you accept my insurance?
