FYI Stay away from Laura Fouts Allstate Insurance in Dickinson, Texas. I’ve had my homeowners policy with them for 2 years. Last year paid the policy in full, 1 payment for the entire year then mysteriously after paying in full they deducted another $300 from my bank account. Now this year paid again in full, 1 payment for the entire year on the policy. After paying in full for the year I took them off auto pay and they send me a bill for $77 saying my policy for the year is not paid in full because I took them off auto pay after paying my policy in full. Allstate and their agent Laura Fouts are nothing but money grabbers and not concerned in the least for their policy holders. I’ll be dumping them after policy expiration.

Just getting around to saying something about my experience here. My parents filled their insurance needs by working with these guys' father, so they recommended I take out a policy with this agency. I found one of the brothers to be extremely dismissive and condescending anytime I called to ask questions about my life insurance policy, and eventually I had enough of the disrespect and cancelled my policy. I also swapped to State Farm for my auto insurance needs and cut my rate in half. My suggestion is to shop around for the best deal and don't look back.

I had as similar experience as another reviewer, David Davis, that did a review from about a year ago. I was an Allstate customer for almost 28 years. Originally with Terry Libra when he had this agency before retiring. I had auto and renter's insurance for years and then auto and homeowner's. I intially spoke to an agent about getting homeowner's quotes when I received my renewal with an increase this year of almost $2100.00 with NO CLAIMS since I have owned my home. An agent did call me back, but I was at work and had to call her back. Called 3x's, left a VM, then spoke to someone twice and was promised a return call. Never heard from anyone. No one has ever reached out to see if my coverage on auto and homeowners is where it needs to be (except when Terry Libra had this agency) and they could not lower my auto coverage either. I went with Farmers, found a decent quote for homeowners and they lowered my auto insurance by $40 month with much better coverage than I had with Allstate.

I had been with Alstate for quite some time. But the last five months or so I was extremely disappointed with almost everyone I dealt with.
It began by me, adding my spouse to the insurance and I realized A while after that, that not only was she listed as an insured, but she was also excluded as a driver
The very first person I spoke with said yeah that would’ve been a big problem for you but then I got a hold of the office manager and she reassured me. Oh no it would not have been a problem. Well it’s really easy to say that now that there’s no risk of anything going wrong, but I know how insurance companies work and I’m about 99% positive. It would’ve been a problem so they were charging me for insurance that I’m relatively certain they would’ve never Covered.
The people at the office were very condescending and rude. I would highly recommend you choose someone else for your insurance needs.

The service is quite good and access to my policy and the help in adjustment to my needs was excellent.
Very efficient and friendly staff, got a very good quote for my insurance policy. I send an email if i have any questions will reply the same day . Highly recommended.
