My wife experienced a stroke when we were out in the country. We went to St. Luke's because it was listed as a Tier 1 Stroke Response Center. We were met by nurses in under a minute after entering the ER, and a doctor was talking to her within 2 minutes. She was quickly assessed and treated, and we went home 3 days later with her 98% recovered from her symptoms. I think she's still here and still unimpaired because of the care she received at St. Luke's.

This is the BEST ER to go to when your aren’t feeling well! Everyone really cares and are very compassionate about patient care! That speaks volumes being a medical professional such as myself, also belonging to the CHI St. Luke’s medical group! Derrick is super nice and goes the extra mile for the patient!I want to commend Dr. Mitchell and nursing staff for taking great care of me! If you looking for a ER for your emergent needs please consider Springwoods ER they are very fast and efficient! This is my family’s go to ER!!

I am sad to see everyone who had a bad experience here but my experience here yesterday was great! I was sent to the ER after the RediClinic wasn’t able to help me yesterday afternoon. She recommended I go to the ER right away for an ultrasound for my persistent abdominal pain. I was weary about going, worried about the wait times, treatment, etc. but from the minute I walked through the door, the staff was extremely kind and pointed me in the right direction. I was in and out of here in just a few hours! Way better than I expected.
Elizabeth at the front helped me check in with ease and even had a great conversation with me. I didn't even have to wait and they took me back right away. Ms. Scarlett Angie was my RN I believe, helping Dr. Spartz and they took wonderful care of me. Dr. Spartz and his team are very knowledgeable and they made sure to explore every avenue to research and take care of my pain. The x-ray and radiologist specialist who took me into the x-ray rooms and did all my x-rays was kind and easy to talk to. He made me feel comfortable even though I was afraid.
They mentioned they called the ultrasound tech & she was about an hour ETA but it didn't even take her that long to arrive and take my ultrasound at all. She was also very kind to me.
I even had an allergic reaction to one of the medications that I was being given through the IV (I wasn't aware I was allergic to this medication until yesterday obviously) and Ms. Scarlett Angie made sure to take care of me ASAP when I called for help. She, Dr. Spartz & the x-ray specialist helped me remain calm, because I was starting to panic and get scared. Scarlett Angie came to check on me every so often, which made me feel great because I was all alone. I truly felt like they cared about me, wanted to figure out what was wrong with me and how to help with the pain. All of the staff I had interactions with were very accommodating, knowledgeable and caring. I recommend coming here if you have an emergency. You are in great hands.

Fastest ER visit I've ever had at a St. Luke's Hospital. Had to have my 4 month old get looked at. The nurses were all friendly and kind and the doctor was very quick to arrive and examine my child. Overall, quick, speedy, and efficient. I would definitely come back if we have another emergency.

I had the pleasure of having the fastest ER visit of my life! I was in and out within a few hours and was blow away by the compassion of the staff. I’m from NY where your typical ER visit means you’re going to spend the day in the hospital. I was pleasantly surprised. Not to mention the cleanliness! Just over all blown away.

I came into the ER a few days ago and let me tell you... The young lady who checked me in Vanessa is the sweetest, most professional, respectful worker I have ever met in the medical field. When I first walked in she had a huge smile. She had such a gentle touch taking my vitals. Checked on me and got everything I needed. Those are the type of people you need working in a business like this, because the nurse Renee was very rude, no bed side manners, very sarcastic.

I had to get a neck x-ray and mammo (first time). I had never been to the location and everything about it was amazing! It was easy to locate and after I checked in I did not wait long to be seen. The x-ray tech was very soft spoken, I felt like I was in a spa instead of a clinic. The second procedure was of course not the most comfortable but the technician worked with me to make sure I was at ease. They were both very attentive and courteous. I am thinking of having my PCP switched to this location because it is closer and I just liked everything about it. They were also so kind to call me and inform me of my results along with even sending me a "thank you" card in the mail! Above and beyond expectations!
