This was the absolute WORST hospital experience I have ever had!! I was treated pooorly had to ask the nurse to wash her hands before doing my IV and she got nasty with me when I asked her to do basic standard precautions . I had to wipe down my own area when moved to the blood draw room there was blood all over the chair and table and the nurse became Inpatient with me asking if I was ready instead of actually helping me. The EKG machine was gross and sticky with hair all on the cords. They weren’t explaining anything to me and was speaking in medical jargon before they even realized o worked in the medical field. I was stuck out in a feeezing waiting room after asking for a blanket 4 times RADIOLOGY had to get me one after like 2 hours in. I was in there for chest pains not hooked up to any monitor my BP was exceedingly high and I had to ask for my vitals to be retaken after sitting in a waiting area with no call light or not even a “how are u feeling” for 2 hours and the nurses weren’t even in eyesight. As a medical professional I have never in my life seen such a thing and I actually chose them over hca and UTMB because I thought maybe they would have been better but I was completely wrong and literally traumatized… the floors had piles of dirt and pieces of paper strolled through the hallways, not one house keeper in sight the whole 4.5 hours I spent in the same little chair with no call light or any way of getting assistance unless I literally screamed or go up to go find a nurse. When I asked for my vitals to be retaken the guy nurse was so rude and mean to me I never should have had to ask I should have been being monitored being that the chief complaint was CHEST PAIN AND SOB.. this was so disheartening.

Completely disappointed with the Emergency Department. The nurses were very helpful and extremely nice and friendly. The doctor was very nice but evidently didn't have a clue of how to help me or what test to perform. I went in with extreme diarrhea and l came home just as sick as when I went in. I received about 1/4 of the IV so I was still dehydrated and he wanted to give me Sofran which is for nausea and I wasn't nauseated, I had diarrhea. The Dr. didn't give me anything for that and I was still dehydrated when I was released. A waste of time to go there and I came home with bruises all over my arms because one of the nurses didn't know how to draw blood.
didn't know how to draw blood. Terrible experience.

From start to finish I do not recommend this facility.
If you need emergency care visit HCA Clear Lake.

I am beyond disappointed with this emergency room. Today, my 78 year old mother took my son in for care and simply asked the receptionist what the copay would be under my insurance. She was told they couldn’t tell her the cost, which was completely untrue.
When I insisted on speaking directly with the receptionist myself, suddenly she was able to verify the copay within minutes and it was then that she asked for the insurance information. Unfortunately, by then it was already too late because my son was already being seen by the doctor. This deceptive practice left me stuck with a $1,000 copay that could have easily been disclosed beforehand.
It is unacceptable and honestly shameful to mislead an elderly woman over a basic insurance question that apparently only took five minutes to answer once I pushed the issue. Patients deserve transparency before treatment begins, especially when costs are this significant.. This practice feels intentionally deceptive, poorly managed, and completely lacking in compassion or professionalism.
My advice is to strongly caution others to ask every possible financial question upfront and not trust what the front desk initially tells you. I would not recommend this facility to anyone who expects honesty and upfront communication.

I had to call an ambulance for my mother on Tuesday march 31st at 4:30pm fire and ambulance came and picked mom up and transported er to Methodist Nassau Bay . Once in the emergency room . We had Dr wang to excess , moms oxygen was low, first thing she ask me is do you want to vent and i said no. She said she could die , I said yes but it would be natural. No machine , after 2 hours of oxygen was back up to her normal. We sat in a emergency room til 2:30 am and then moved to ICU . After all night we were in a rm #11. That morning we had Dr . Nina Zatikyan MD. She was rude and not compassionate at all . She told me I needed to get , power of attorney and will up there . She said your mom is in bad shape and didn't look good. This was our first meeting. Just crushed us but mom was alert and was better that day but was on high flow oxygen. As the day wore on Dr. Wang In ICU came in very polite and compassionate , we are doing everything and will be outside if you need anything . Then the heart doctor came in did every test , Dr. Ahmed Elsherbing. He told mom she had a strong heart. But kept monitor while we were there. The next day Dr . Nina Zatikyan came to the room and said you look better, total change from the first day. While she was in the room , I told her she took care of my mom in Nov. 2021 during covid and she said I don't believe so. She went back in her records the next day and said yes she did take care of mom during covid. This went on for 6 1/2 days in ICU. You have some amazing nurses in ICU Rachel U and Ashley N. These 2 nurses were so wonderful, we were lucky to have them for 2 days each .Made ICU enjoyable . The head Pulmonary Dr. Nina Zatikyan need to have compassion training , very cold , no respect for care of patients . if love one is in bad shape you should never tell them there dying, Should talk to a love one. I spent everyday and night with my mom in ICU. Just in case something happened . After ICU we were moved to a room on the 4th floor room 410 Sunday April 5th. After the move the next morning the doctors came in an said you were getting better, but you will be here a while . Dr Nina Zatikyan transferred her stuff to Dr. Jose Cuevas, nice gentleman was caring and compassionate. Easy to talk to and was there to help . We worked out a plan that day. So Tuesday came around and Dr Wang from ICU went on vacation. So we had Dr Donald Brown come in never met us before. I wasn't there, but he came in and told my mom that you aren't getting better. You need to think about hospice or alternative care . That just broke my mom. She called me at work , I came up there at 11 am and she was in the fetal position crying . So after first time seeing a patient for less than 5 minutes you destroyed her. Terrible bedside manor, she told him my son takes care of me and there is his number . But he never called . After therapy came in and she was able to walk . The next day Dr Brown came in same attitude , still no call. So that day we had nurse Jesus , wonderful at what he does , loves his job. So Friday comes around and I need to speak with Dr Brown, I got to my moms room at 8:30 am , and waited . Dr Brown came in an saw me . whole different attitude, but still talking down , not building up. I ask why they stopped PT , he said they said her oxygen dropped and he discontinued . I told him therapy said she did great . These doctors need to compassion and training for the patient. I give this hospital 1 star out of 5. I will be taking my mom to utmb.

I entered the hospital. I was put into pediatrics work, and there's attempted to set up an IV bag, which never worked. I was dehydrated.
The nurse returned and attempted to set it up again. It started to drip. Then, the doctor told me after ekj. Urintes, I'll be there when I can't do then I would be discharged. No pneumonia, no flu and no covid . I came home to a worsen cough, rattling, Chess, severe headaches. Weakness and pain which still precedes today. I may have to try to return or find a new hospital. They were overcrowded when I attempted to come to their hospital. The doctor gonzales mentioned then he could keep me 3 days. They didn't admit me, I came home to worse sickness than before.

NEVER GO TO METHODIST!!! Not a question, but a statement. Don't believe me, read the fine print of the “Treatment Forms”. The parts where they will record you and share video, pictures, conversations etc. that are had in the process of treatment, and can be sold. That includes all personal information, regardless of what Federal Law states. Or you could address the fact that in the fine print they don’t have to seek insurance approval prior to treatment, and if necessary you can be billed vastly more than originally quoted.

I have been in the hosital 4 times since may 2023. Always rated it a 5. The ER however on my visit may 1 2026 was nothing i ever expected to experience. My dr called and told me my blood work came back very low
And should go to ER at hospital 5/1. I should prepare to be admitted because it woud take time to raise my levels. Was sat in chair in hall while vitals taken, ekg with screne pulled around me, iv placed with blood sample drawn. Told to go back to waiting area and wait. 2 hours went by then said to go to room and receive iv fluids (potassium
Magnesium) would be released after iv and call my dr on monday to draw blood to see if levels better. Had all kinds of trouble trying to do that with my dr. On monday and never did get orders for that.im 73 years old and was very weak and tingling in feet head and face. Could barely walk or talk. I wont go back there rather go to urgent care and hope for the best. Staff was nice but not attentive

This is by far one of the WORST hospitals ever!! They really need to be investigated and shut down. I will never understand people that work in health care but don't actually care about helping anyone. My son had been in excruciating pain which I suspected was appendicitis, after taking him to urgent care and them basically confirming it was, they told me to go straight to the ER as his situation was getting worse. When I got there (nearest one to me) and spoke to them about it, they did not care one bit and kept us waiting as my son was vomiting and he was throwing himself in excruciating pain. After having a bad feeling that it could burst any time soon I spoke to the guy nurse that was there, he laughed in my face and said to wait my turn. I think kids should be a priority, especially with something so dangerous that could've cost his life. It took everything in me not to punch that guy in the throat. I decided to take action and call an ambulance to have him taken to Texas childrens where tjey attended him right away. We barely made it on time and he was taken in for surgery. Even they couldn't understand how a hospital could be so negligent and stupid. Please save your time and never go here. May this place rot and idc about yall addressing anything.

Dad waited 3 days in the hospital for a simple 15min thoracentesis procedure. Three days. No wonder healthcare is so bloated and expensive.
Review what went down with Rm 484 discharged on 4/20. Work with your IR team to figure out weekends. Contract with more to standby if you need to.
3 days inpatient was uncalled for.
Can’t wait to see this bill and what was charged to Medicare. These situations are partly why we can’t get cost down.
