Hi, I've came in on this Sunday morning 10/26/25 to the ER bc of my heart issues I was having from my previous CHF. The ER staff was great and was very attentive to me. I was admitted and transferred to the CDU dept. The 1st night there was quiet, the am shift that came in for 7am on Monday, was so loud, they laughed loud too etc.
Like,it was like they were having a party and they all were so energetic to where I had to turn up my volume on my T.V. but they were still loud over it. Couldn't rest when I thought I could, but couldn't. Stayed up the whole day til night/ evening staff shift
They were great that night. This Tuesday am shift came in, the atmosphere was better but
Until, I rung the bell to be assisted walking to the restroom. The female who was African American, light complected with long hair down and half up, that answered was like, "your call bell on, could she help you" I stated I needed assistance walking to the rr, no one never came and I took it upon myself to head to the restroom while holding on to the wall or vital machine alone. Staff was sitting there, and I heard a sarcastic" so"!
It felt as if it was said because I didn't wait on whomever that was or were coming, my bladder can't hold long when it comes to urinating . Came back by myself
and heard the conversation that wasn't pertaining to their work but outside things. I'm like OMG
I know someone there could've walked me.
No one never came to see about me only were watching as I walked by or being unaware. This is the only time that I felt the rudeness of the females at the nurse station. Very unprofessional
I would've given it t stars but because this happened, it took off stars for me.

Visited on 8/29 and had to return on 8/30. Had two completely different experiences. On 8/29, the staff was competent and compassionate. I had a thorough workup, however, I was discharged without my issue being resolved. Symptoms worsened overnight and had to return the following morning. Now the next day, I saw a different team. The provider was extremely dismissive. Denied I was in pain. Even stated I looked “comfortable” and said, “there is nothing I can do for you.” I was so disappointed and invalidated, I left and went to another hospital where my concerns were promptly addressed. Had to report the second incident to the patient advocacy office. So it truly is the luck of the draw.

I give the facility as a whole, a 2. The reason for this is my mother suffered a very traumatic situation at a different facility. I have my own bone to pick with one of them. When she was brought into this hospital I looked at it as a new opportunity and a fresh pair of eyes. The doctors were somewhat better than the previous hospital but what stood out most was the social workers and case management team. I was told I would have to take my mother home on hospice because of her new medical condition, the insurance would no longer cover her stay at any facility. I was distraught and had no clue where to begin or what I was doing. I reached out to the case managers and social workers and they provided me with absolutely ZERO resources or advice and assistance. They were rude and even attempted to argue and be little me despite the situation I was in. When I needed help the most, I didn’t have it. Thankfully a handful of staff went above and beyond to make sure i was trained and had supplies to care for my mom while we got everything situated. These ladies should not be in a position to handle fragile situations with the attitudes and demeanors they possess. My mom is unresponsive and this came completely out the bite. You would think people would show more compassion and be kind and empathetic in these situations. Surely they should know not to take anything personal from a loved one who is just overwhelmed trying to understand a new norm. I expected more from this facility.

I’ve been taking my family member to Memorial Hermann | Rockets Sports Medicine Institute in Sugar Land for physical therapy, and I’m truly grateful for the amazing physical therapists here. As someone who works in healthcare, I understand how critical it is to explore options like physical therapy before considering back surgery, which is often not a one-and-done solution. The therapists at this location have been wonderful in helping with my family member’s recovery.

However, I must express my frustration with the administrative staff coordinating appointments. I understand the challenges they face, especially with a busy office and varying levels of technology proficiency among patients. But it's important to remember that each patient calling in is likely stressed and may not be feeling well. Many people don’t wish to be in pain, and healthcare is already a tough system to navigate. A little empathy and patience go a long way in making the experience better for everyone.

For context, we’ve had an incredibly stressful time recently as our young sister-in-law is in the hospital and needs a liver transplant. This all happened very suddenly, and we need to be out of town to support her during this critical time. We called to reschedule our PT appointments so we wouldn’t waste anyone's time or money. We followed the instructions to leave a message and waited 24 hours for a call back, but when we didn’t receive it, we called again. Unfortunately, the IVR system (which we believe uses Amelia) transferred us straight to voicemail. We weren’t sure if we were routing to the correct team, so we tried calling again.

When we finally got a call back, the scheduling coordinator rudely told us, "You don’t need to keep calling, we specifically said we would call you back." When we explained that we hadn't received a call back, she responded, "Yes you did, I see it right here in our system that we did call you back."

Here’s the issue: we get it. There are probably many patients who don’t follow instructions, but we did follow the process. We had no record of a call or any details in our portal. It’s disappointing to be treated as if we’re lying or making things up. It’s a basic expectation in customer service to lead with empathy and assume the best in your patients. Everyone calling in could be dealing with their own stressful, personal situation — whether it's physical pain or family health crises.

Shame on the appointment scheduling team for allowing such interactions. Incoming phone calls are the front door to your practice. The first point of contact for any patient should be filled with care, patience, and compassion. I sincerely hope that no other patients have to experience similar frustration and rudeness.

The people are nice and proficient, however, the facility is very poor. The waiting room is well below standard. The reason I will not go back, is the policy of not allowing family in pre op. It demonstrates lack of care for their patients.

Staff was nice. They did laugh and talk amongst themselves, but I dont see the issue as long as they're getti.g their job done. Triage nurses and intake staff were polite and considerate. Security was stern, but sweet. The ultrasound technician was very kind and professional. The doctor was so personable and knowledgeable, reassuring me while going over the test results. The reason I cant give at least 3 stars is because the wait in the ER was so uncomfortable!

This ER is FILTHY!!! I got stared at for wiping down any seat I chose or any door handle I touched. If you weren't sick when you arrived, you might be when you leave. I know hospitals are for the sick, but why so nasty?! Trash all over the floors. Used bedding, masks, cups, and barf bags in the seats and under them. A bike with a flat tire next to a pile of soiled sheets....This can't be up to code. I'm pregnant and contemplating leaving to drive 15 minutes further. This is truly disgusting.

The facility itself is good but avoid going at all cost unless it’s really life threatening or you will get a surprise bill from them and a SEPARATE bill from ER physician. I was billed for total of almost $9000 for few simple tests because I got scared by the urgent care that I need to go to the ER immediately.

I just had surgery here today. The staff during pre-op was very kind and everything went smooth. However, after being under anesthesia I was released 15 minutes after my surgery was complete. The second I woke up they told me it was time to go. Neither myself or my spouse, who was there the whole time, received any post-op information, no information about how the procedure went, no instructions on how to take care of the surgical site, no information on if there was to be any prescriptions sent in for pain or anything else. Just woke up and was told it was time to go. I absolutely blame a lot of this on my doctor. That being said, the staff here should have information to be helpful post-op as well. I've been calling since arriving home to get any information possible, but the only extension I was able to dial where someone answered was someone not on site that said they would send a message to them. Very disappointed that it turned out this way after things were so promising during pre-op.

Delivered my first baby here, and the experience was not too great to be honest, it was an induction so when I showed up the nurses kind of just put me in an room didn't really tell me what to do until I came out and asked do I need to use what was laid out on the bed or move it for now? If was my first child so I didnt know what to do. There were only two nurses that stood out and were God sent to me during my stay which were nurse Jay and nurse Griffin who helped deliver my son. The nurses had to change my IV 5 times because it kept leaking so that was really annoying as well because they just kept poking around at a point I just told them to find someone who will actually find a good line because I'm not trying to get poked so often for it not to work. The nurses I got once I moved after having my son were not very nice I just couldn't wait to go home I'm pregnant with baby #2 and I'm delivering at a different hospital because of the experience I had here. Maybe it's good for others but for myself it was a bad experience.
