One of the worst hospitals in Texas. They don't provide accurate information on the discharge forms. They put random after care centers that aren't after care centers more like a tire shop when you look up the location and the other facilities don't take your insurance finally found one that took my insurance but they won't take my son's stitches out because he didn't get them put in there. Wasted my time and my gas ALL FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

DON'T COME HERE IF YOU ARE SUICIDAL!!!
I wanted to attempt getting help, as a counselor on a hotline suggested I seek medical attention. WORST DECISION! Once I arrived by an ambulance and was escorted to a "room", I had questions. I was NEVER given ANY information or paperwork from the hospital, other than a bill nearly 2 months later.
I asked a security man if I could leave, and all he did was stretch his arms out and sternly say I couldn't go over there, as he blocked my movement to go around him. I tried moving his arm so I could go around. Before I knew it, he grabbed my wrist, twisted my arm up behind my back, and shoved me up against a glass wall. He then continued to use excessive force, pinned me to the edge of my hospital bed that has a hard surface, with his full (200+ lbs.) body weight on my knee. I yelled that he was breaking my knee, and he retorted that he wasn't. Soon after, several medical staff came over and ALL of them attempted to strap me down to the bed! Being a person with childhood trauma of being pinned down against my will and being taken advantage of, of course I fought back. With 6-7 people against 1, I felt I was fighting for my life!
Within about a minute, straps and cuffs were brought in and they all worked to tie me down to the bed. As you can imagine, I was literally kicking and screaming. One nurse happened to walk in front of my kicking legs, and fell. The excessively forceful security guy said I "assaulted" 2 of his first responders. 🙄 (It's called self defense!) While all of this is going on, one medical staffer grabbed a huge syringe and I asked what it was. She lied and said it was "medicine"! After several attempts to inject me with I-don't-know-what, she stabbed me with the syringe. I grabbed it and threw it into the hall. Eventually, these 7 people succeeded in tying me down, against my will, over a QUESTION. All but one left the room.
Being as traumatized as I was, I still fought to get the cuffs off. She noticed, and a few of the staff and the security guy came back with even stronger cuffs and restraints. I was starting to get out of the old ones, as they exchanged them for these new ones. Now I was restrained in a half laying up and half laying down, most uncomfortable position with even tighter ties for 20-30 minutes! One of the security guys that helped tie me down MOCKED me!
After what felt like forever, I was untied so I could use the bathroom. I was such a fall risk after being injected with whatever was in that syringe, that I needed an escort until the effects wore off about 3 hours later! The next day, I was moved to another room. I eventually asked the day nurse what I was injected with. He said it was a tranquilizer.
During my four days there, they also threatened a young man with being restrained to his bed simply because he walked out of his room. Meanwhile, I limped to and from the bathroom, and I'm my room. Some of the staff joked that I was "faking it" and made me walk around to prove it. It took TWO DAYS to finally get an X-ray of my knee, to which I never heard the results.
This level of TORTURE is NORMAL HERE!
Needless to say, if you're struggling with suicidal thoughts or ideation, DON'T COME HERE! They'll make it worse!

Professional, friendly, courteous staff. I came during an off-peak time this last visit, and was seen very quickly by a nurse, and then by the doctor. All of the staff were warm and caring and good at their roles. The ER doctor was great. The facility is spotless and the rooms feel a bit cozy for a hospital with wood cabinets and panels. For a neighborhood ER/urgent care, they have a broad range of diagnostic and testing equipment and staff. This visit is had an x-ray which was done in the room with a mobile xray cart. It felt very safe, clean, and professional.

Thank you for your kind words, we appreciate your feedback.
I went in for an EGD today and all I can say is I felt the motherly love honestly. The nurses took very good care of me, made me feel safe, updated me, very patient, encouraged me in my schooling as well lol. Best experience I’ve had at a hospital, when I communicated to them that I was nervous my doctor was there for me as well the nurses (they kept giving me warm blankets!). Overall I felt very comfortable and safe!!

We chose this facility primarily because it carries the Memorial Hermann name (and the location was indeed convenient). After waiting 3+ hours all that has been done is a check of vitals. There were only 4 other people in the waiting area when we arrived at 8pm. Even if the care we may eventually receive is amazing (when we finally get care), we won't be coming back here again.

This is the ER from Hell!
We took my mom here at 6:30 in the morning because she was complaining of chest pain. They got her in pretty quickly, so we thought we would have answers soon. WRONG!! They did an EKG and a CT scan and then just left us there to wait. The nurse came in to administer benadryl through an IV. We asked her what the benadryl was for, and she said SHE DIDN'T KNOW! She would go ask the doctor and tell us what he said. The nurse started an IV on my mom, and please see the attached picture of how much blood was left from her simply starting an IV. My mom told them she was hungry and asked if she could eat something. The nurse said she would find out. She came back and said that the doctor said it was ok for her to eat and she would bring her a sandwich. My mom asked for a blanket, and she said ok. It was an hour later before we got that blanket. I told her my mom was STILL hungry. She leaves and comes back saying they didn't have any sandwiches, so she brought graham crackers, jello, and pudding. With no spoon. Oh and about a 1/4 cup of water. At 11:30 am, they decide they're going to admit her to the hospital because of something they saw on the CT scan that had nothing to do with the chest pain she came in for! They also stated they wanted to do an MRI and an ultrasound on her heart to rule out stroke. We just have to wait on a bed to get ready so we can be admitted. We've been here 5 hours at this point with my mom in severe chest pain, and they're JUST NOW wanting to rule out stroke?! At about 12:45 PM, another nurse comes in and leaves gowns on the bed for my mom to change into for the MRI. She has about 5 wires hooked onto her chest, one going into her finger, and they expected her to get out of her clothes? It took me 15 minutes to get all the wires unhooked, my mom in the gowns, and the wires hooked back onto her chest. Oh and the window had to be taped up because the curtain was stuck and we couldn't close it. At 1:15 another lady wheels the ultrasound machine in. She is bumbling all over the place trying to get the machine in there. Another lady came in, and I could tell by their conversation that she was training the first lady. The experienced lady handled the ultrasound, explaining everything to the other lady along the way. When she finished, she pretty much told the other lady to play around with it so she could get comfortable. It was an over an hour before the ultrasound mess was finished so she could go get her MRI, 3:00 PM by the time we made it to the bed they promised. Meanwhile, my mom is still experiencing pain, and no one is addressing it. The neurologist came in and explained the results of the MRI. I inquired about her chest pain, and he ordered a second MRI to look at her neck and chest because the first one didn't address those parts. By 9:45 we still had not received the results of the second MRI or the ultrasound. We finally got a nurse to come in and we asked what was going on. We expressed our frustration at the lack of communication, and her response was pretty much, "Well visiting hours are over so only one of you can stay to talk to a supervisor." Yeah we refused to leave. Had they come in there to check on her and give us some communication before visiting hours ended, we would have been gone anyway. They brought the charge nurse and the hospitalist in to finally explain what was going on and let us know that all of the results were not in and that we would have results in the morning. All of this confusion could have been avoided had they just shown a little concern and compassion for their patients, and also learned how to communicate effectively. The staff at Memorial Hermann is completely incompetent and uncaring. Never will I ever advise anyone to seek help at this facility, as they clearly do not know the first thing about patient care. The only reason they get 1 star is because I am unable to review them without leaving something. Ridiculous that they are allowed to receive patients!
