Just tried to be seen for a sore throat, got registered , gave them my insurance, and then asked what the cost to be seen is. Was told I won't know until after I checked in.

This is what's wrong with Healthcare in America. Treat first, bill later.

Look at the other reviews. They up charge you like a hospital for urgent care capabilities. If it's something serious, they will just call an ambulance for you, and you get that bill too.

I'm glad I'm a paramedic and know better than to let them empty my bank account for 2 min. Visit.

Urgent care one street over is $50 co-pay.

I walked out. Thanks for nothing but a scam.

The receptionist must’ve forgot to bring her manners to work. On my first visit there to schedule a session, I asked to see the business cards of the physical therapists that worked there which were behind the glass, and she responded that I could either sit and wait while she takes care of 15 other people in line or I could let her finish scheduling me. If I knew it took that much effort to turn the business cards around so I could see them, then I wouldn’t have asked.

This was a review I never thought I would do. My mother’s care home called .08.Oct.23 she was in the ER , that was a week ago. Discharged today . The care extraordinary. Doctors, nurses kept me in the loop. Patient with my daily calls. The facility is spotless, there’s a Starbucks and green areas when you need a break

While the service was not bad, the price of the one hour and 30 minute visit was absolutely obscured. I went in for a headache and left out with the same headache $9,270.00 later. Thank God for excellent insurance but what happened after the ER visit is why I’ll never go to this or any other MH “convenient” ER again. When I received my bill I actually read over it and the math was not mathing. I was doubled billed for an injection “push” and each injection was $495.95. Make it make sense why two injections for medicine that $12 should cost $1,000 to inject. But whatever. I started disputing the bill in April and finally got answers today (October) after having to go to MH’s system office in Memorial City. Every call would be the run around. I even sent emails to the patient billing department. No replies. No nothing but MH faithfully sent the payment statement of $1,007.00 due after insurance. Today thanks to Karina, it finally made sense although it’s still not clearly stated in writing for the patient to understand, but I’ll go with her “why” for the double injection charges because it actually makes sense. Thank you Karina for being patient focused and looking into my ongoing matter.

Point is, this locations ER is a ripe off to Americans. I would have hate to have had a worse emergency. Not telling what that bill would have been. Moreover, MH has terrible customer service in the billing department.

Save yourself the money and the energy. Try urgent care or go to the local pharmacy for advice on what meds to take to cure pain.

I literally walked out with the same pain and experienced even worse headaches trying to deal with the billing.

Disclaimer: I didn't and won't go to this location for physical therapy because of the rude receptionist.
I had an ACL tear and made an appointment thru phone last week to see Dr. Steven Higby this Wednesday (tomorrow). I forgot the exact appointment time so I called to confirm. To my surprise, I was told my appointment was cancelled "If you don't play sport or didn't have surgery, then you can't see Steven!" in the rudest and most arrogant way. I "play" sport! Then she went ahead and said basketball doesn't count.
She also claimed the system called me this morning 11am to inform me the appointment was changed to tomorrow afternoon when I have a conflict. But I have never received such call or voice mail!
Btw, My orthopedist (who works in the next building and very nice - but I saw him in Memorial location where the customer service is much better) recommended me to see Steven. If Steven can't see patients like me, why don't you guys communicate to the orthopedists so we can stop waiting time?

I just got out of the day surgery unit. I was actually there last year but both times these were the sweetest people and they were so kind and professional. I was at another day surgery last year also and they were very kind but they were so slow. Today I was first patient at 0700 relatively fast process minimal paperwork that and bloodwork is done a few days before. The phlebotomist was very good. I didn’t even feel it that was relatively fast in an hour. I had a kidney stone two years ago and I had to go to the ER during Covid although it was a very long wait, it went fast once I got in there people were very kind and professional I would recommend Memorial Hermann Humble.

Last night I took my wife to the emergency room at this location by HEB in kingwood. Service was incredible and thorough but unfortunately one of the prescriptions was out of stock at CVS so around lunch time I drove back to the ER. I spoke with a gentleman named Chaye( forgive me if this is the incorrect spelling) and he was extremely kind and his willingness to help us out was above and beyond. He had a different prescription called in, which also turned out to be out of stock. I contacted Chaye and he took our situation on as if he knew us his whole life and saw to it that our medication was located at a different pharmacy. He called me back on my cellphone to tell me he had it all worked out and my wife’s meds would be ready for pickup soon. The world needs more men like him that truly care for people and their well being. We will not visit any other hospitals other than Kingwood Memorial in town center by HEB ever again. Thank you Chaye!!

I had my first baby here 1/22/23 and I was so grateful to have had an amazing experience here. I was so scared and nervous since I’ve never been hospitalized. But from check in to check out everyone was very nice. I would like to give a long overdue shout out to my delivery nurse Lexi. She was so sweet and compassionate. She held my hand while I received my epidural. Thank you so much Lexi! And thank you to all the nurses and staff for making my first birth a little less scary.

Worst hospital I've ever been too. Staff is very uneducated making mistakes right and left and front desk clerks are very disrespectful. Also don't plan on having any family stay and enjoy your delivery experience because they'll make sure to ruin that.

I had Umbilical Hernia Repair two days ago and it was amazing, from quality care on the financial side to the nursing staff, the Anesthesia department, my Doctor Hoang Le, I was and have always been taken great care of here at this hospital. Hands down the best experiences for me. Clean and warm bed, aftercare instructions are clear cut, allowed me plenty of time to wake up and gave me extra bags of IV solution to help clean out my system.. I highly recommend this hospital. My before and after below!!! I’m two days out and swelling is going down and I am feeling so much better. Thank You Southeast staff. This is like my 6 procedure here over the years. 5 STARS!!!
