The emergency staff at this hospital is Fantastic. The wait was so short and I enjoyed the quick but professional care I received from my nurse and doctor who was very kind and understanding. I appreciate and have so much respect for my medical personnel. Thank you guys so much.

Everything about my recent visit was handled efficiently and compassionately by all doctors, nurses, assistants, and staff. I am especially grateful to David who understood fear in an old lady's teary responses and who talked me down from an oncoming panic attack. I am 81 and was having to negotiate the scary emergency room alone.
Thank you all for your help. I am in the process of "following up" on what was and was not found in the CT with contrast.

Two times in 3 days. A place nobody wants to go, but Methodist is a 5 star ER. Got admitted with ease and immediately assigned a room. Quick to see a doctor and nurse. Took care of my problem and discussed my test results. Answered all questions. Great personal.

The Urgent Care at Methodist Clear Lake Hospital has excellent service. I have had to use the services in the past 2 months. Where do you go on Christmas morning when you leg is in pain? Thanks to this excellent service I was well taken care of!! From the time you walk in and talk to the receptionist, hurried off to the nurse and then the PA or Dr walks in shortly. i recommend their expertise and their compassion to everyone.

Subject: Deplorable and unprofessional billing practices for scheduled services at the Methodist Hospital
I am writing this to express my deep frustration and concern regarding the current billing culture at Houston Methodist. While the medical professionals here provide excellent care, the billing and scheduling departments are operating with a level of unprofessionalism that borders on a scam.
For scheduled services like imaging, the billing department utilizes high-pressure tactics to force pre-payment. As soon as a procedure is scheduled, patients are contacted with "scare tactics" claiming that out-of-pocket costs through insurance will be significantly higher than a "cash price" listed on the MyChart portal. This constant pressure to pay before the procedure date feels predatory and financially manipulative.
Furthermore, the customer service experience when seeking clarity is unacceptable:
Misinformation:I was repeatedly provided with conflicting or flat-out wrong information regarding insurance approval and out-of-pocket estimates.
Lack of Accountability: When I requested to speak with a supervisor to resolve these discrepancies, the staff became dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of addressing the billing error, I was met with an ultimatum: "Do you want to come or cancel the appointment?"
Poor Conduct:Calling multiple times to verify if a procedure is actually approved—a basic necessity in the complex US healthcare system—is met with hostility rather than assistance.
It is a shame that such a reputable institution allows its billing practices to tarnish the hard work of its medical staff. Houston Methodist must stop these high-pressure, "cash-first" tactics and treat their patients with the professional respect they deserve. This behavior is deplorable and must change.

If there was an award I could give to the entire staff at his hospital I truly would, when my sisters health declined rapidly my niece was heart broken that her mom would not be here for her wedding , the ICU staff overheard (Lisa, Danny & Grace along with so many others in the hospital ) and in a matter of 3hrs they had decorated the capel, hired a videographer, photographer ,singer and even prepared a reception with a cake and refreshments my niece was having a wedding and my sister would get to be present. I thank yall from the bottom of my heart that in my sisters last days here heart was full WE will remember you forever THANK YOU for being selfless kind and loving us just like family God has a purpose for you all and your blessings will overflow. -Anisha

Took my wife here Monday everyone was awesome from emergency to admission to hospitals. My only concern is when it comes to discharge I feel their should not been no discharge from five p.m or during shift change ( chaos) otherwise awesome service
