The doctors that work here absolutely do not care about you they just see you as another number I had Dr. Kyle Vogt I don’t know what is wrong with him but he should not be working at a hospital at all!! I forgot my nurses name but she was amazing sweet caring wanting to engage in a conversation and actually listening to the patient we need more people like her she should be the doctor her bedside manners were immaculate she was even engaging with my 5 year old if it wasn’t for the doctors ignorance I would’ve gave 5 stars just because of her!

Unclean Reception Area, looked like a 10-Minute Oil Change Business. The staff was less than personable, with a hint of untrustworthy. But they said, “They wash they tools.” & “Don’t give blood”. I could not have ran out there any quicker. 🤨I will never regret leaving, nor will I return.

I am currently in the hospital with my daughter Crystal and we have been here 4 days almost five and they still cannot figure out what's wrong, her fever still going up to 101 everyday even though they give her fever medicine it goes down a couple hours it comes right back up, her fever just won't break, her liver is inflamed and they don't know why. She's very very sick very very light-headed and very very scared, today her face and hands are swollen they've been giving her antibiotics for 4 days and liquids and nothing is helping, they have no clue what they are doing or what's going on! I'm seriously wanting my daughter moved to Methodist in woodlands! The nurse is here are rude and lazy, they literally told me that when it says air in the line on the IV pump that it don't mean there's air in the line that it means it's finished, which is just ignorant! When it's finished it says infusion completed not air in the line! air in the line means just what it says air in the line! This is the worst hospital I've ever seen in my life! They don't even feed the family members that have been here for a week starving they will actually turn you down for a sandwich it's ridiculous! So I'm sitting there worried about my daughter cuz these people don't know what they're doing and I'm starving at the same time! Please do not bring your family members to this hospital seriously please do not it's not worth it this hospital sucks!

Final Billing Notice Threat Without Transparency
My son was referred to Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Hospital-Katy for a sleep study in early 2025. After receiving an initial estimate of $1,125 and a revised one for $618.75, we were ultimately billed $1,125 — with no itemized explanation.
We were never informed that the WatchPat One device was disposable or single-use, and no physician or billing representative was present when we picked it up. No one explained the costs or obtained written consent.
Despite multiple formal dispute attempts through the patient portal and by email, we received no response — only a final billing notice threatening to send the account to collections. This is unacceptable, especially given the complete lack of billing transparency and follow-up.
Patients deserve clear communication and informed consent before being charged over $1,000. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this facility.

If you love your family don’t bring them to
Memorial Hermann Hospital Sugar-land.
I recently had a disappointing experience in the Emergency Room at Memorial Hermann Sugar-land. While I understand that emergency situations can be stressful for both staff and patients, I found the behavior of the ER staff concerning.
During my visit, it felt as though the staff was more preoccupied with their upcoming shift change than with taking care of the patients. Their lack of attentiveness was evident as they rushed through tasks without taking the time to properly address my concerns. I couldn't help but feel that the shift change was their priority rather than providing quality care during a critical time.
What was particularly distressing was that my loved one remained in pee-soaked clothing for nearly 30 minutes. The charge nurse informed me that she had more life-threatening issues to handle and would get to it when she could—“because it is what it is,” she stated. This response felt dismissive and left us feeling incredibly frustrated and helpless during an already difficult situation.
Additionally, I was disheartened to witness the floor staff using profanity in the presence of patients and their families. As I waited in the hallway for a room to be cleaned—so my loved one could have a place to rest—the atmosphere felt unprofessional and disrespectful. It’s crucial for all hospital employees to maintain a sense of decorum, especially in such a sensitive environment.
I hope that Memorial Hermann Sugar-land can take this feedback to heart and work on improving their staff training to promote a more compassionate approach to patient care. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, particularly in moments of need. But for me and my family we will
never again utilize the services at MHHS.

A routine ANNUAL visit to this location ( a 3 min ERG and a 10 min discussion with a doctor, total within a 20 min) results in two bills. first, for a doctor services (a specialist, $45 copay) and the Memorial Hermann facilities fee (treated as an "emergency room visit", $162 copay). The facilities fees appear excessive.

I believe this ER is really bad, and for a very distinct reason … there was only one person present, a receptionist (that was clearly bored) who immediately wanted my financial information and stated she didn’t know when they would be able to see me because they were full …..Which was strange because there were next to no cars out front ( it was about midnight on a Saturday night) and and only 2 ppl in waiting room and one was asleep.
At NO TIME did anyone ask me what my medical problem was or made any effort to do a medical triage. If I need to wait, I need to wait….but not before they even show enough concern to be aware of the level of my emergency…. What if I had been suffering a heart attack? I immediately left without giving her my info ….just told her that I was leaving. I would never trust such a place. (Btw, finances would not have been an issue.)
When I signed in to leave a review, I noticed it already had a low rating. …and for some of the same reasons. I wish I could give it a zero. I had to sit out in the entrance of the building on my phone to find help for my situation…
IMHO Don’t go there … it is dangerous to go to an ER that does not immediately want to know your medical reason for coming… especially before asking you for financial information. Shows their priority. Remember this is suppose to be an ER.

My mother was in here for pneumonia ended up with a pacemaker sent home too early. Went back in a week later. Pneumonia still there sugar over 400. Was put on a Defibrillator. Nurse took her off against Dr orders put nasal turn and didn’t turn on oxygen for three hours. Needless to say nurse lied until questioned mom(90years old). Who the president was what day it was when she went to the hospital what year it was etc. then I asked who took her off the machine she pointed to the nurse that lied. Needless to say mom was just too weak to fight back. We buried her last week. Be an advocate for your love ones don’t just trust the nurses and drs alone. Be there ask questions speak up.

Worst ER/hospital ever! No communication! The information desk attendant acted like I was a bother when i asked him about my husband after waiting an hour. And there were only 2 other people in there at the time. Waited 3 hours to get him moved to a room after being told they were on their way. One nurse also confused my husband for another patient and tried to give him drugs he didn’t need. And these are just the highlights! I wouldn’t bring my trash to the this hospital! Oh and the room in the emergency room was filthy!

I went in for severe back pain that radiated to my lower abdomen. I thought it was kidney stones because that is what they felt like in the past. We waited in the room for 45 minutes before a doctor came in. Even the nurse came in at 45 minutes and said the doctor hasn't come in yet? I said no. So he then decided to put an IV in (no fluids). The doctor comes in and checks a few things and taps on me and says did you need something for the pain? I said that would be helpful. He said I guess I can give you some morphine (becauase I had taken ibuprofen already) then walks out. Never says he's going to order test or explains anything to me. The nurse came back to administer the morphine and zofran and gives me a blanket. Then someone shows up with a wheel chair to take me for a CT scan. (still never told I was getting one). The radiology tech was AWESOME! We did the test, it was quick, got me back to my room and hooked back up and brought me a pillow. He said it will be about an hour for results. I have also asked for water twice during this time and nothing. An hour and a half later my husband walks out into the hallway. Then all of a sudden the doctor comes in with results. (They totally forgot about us). I have kidney stones but it's not causing my pain. So he said I guess it's muscular and said he is going to discharge me. I said but I am still in a lot of pain. (the morphine just took the edge off the pain). He prescribed me over the counter Tylenol and lidocaine patches and was reluctant to even give me a muscle relaxer. I was livid. I felt like they were treating me like I was just looking for drugs. I was clearly in pain when I was there because my blood pressure was really high and only went down a little after the morphine. Hell.....they couldn't even give me fluids. I'm sure I was dehydrated too. So I left with no answers, still in excruciating pain, over the counter Tylenol that doesn't touch the pain, and a muscle relaxer that didn't work either. Worst experience. They ladies at the check in were great. Radiology tech, great! Nurse was ok and doctor was very uninformative and not friendly and seemed irritated when I said I was frustrated. They never took a medical history or asked what medications I was on. I really expected better than this.
