Took my pregnant wife there around 1am on 11/26. All she needed was an IV. The nurse that helped us, seemed extremely in rush and this is what she caused. Then she casually goes, “I’ll plug the other arm”. The service was terrible and she seemed like she didn’t care about the patient whatsoever. No empathy towards the patient. I wish I could give this location and her, a 0. Never coming back here again.

Brought my daughter in tonight and the passion the nurses had for her were shitty one she came in nausea vomiting and diarrhea non stop and the nurses after 10:30pm no one knew much about the patient her original nurse left at 11ish and was great but after that the nurses except one was was helpful my daughter had to clean herself after given morphine and had an IV in her arm when told the nurse she was dizzy. She then was sent to ct with poop on her then sent back because she had poop on her and we told the X-ray tech she had poop on her and the nurses she had poop on her I asked for the nurses to help change her and they refused until I went to the desk and told them to come help this place is complete trash and it’s sad cause I use to work here and to get treated like trash and my daughters care to be delayed and uncared for this hospital and the Jackson street location I don’t recommend anyone’s loved ones to be cared for here after how we were treated tonight. This location tonight deserves 0 stars this is just sad for nurses to act like that and treat other loved ones horribly very hurt and disappointed

Ct tech, I forgot her name, (Lisa Mc)made my day a blessed. She is very Professional, very understanding of others pain. Integrity, very knowledgeable, courtesy, I can see the Jesus love with in her.she is an asset for your place. If I have to have another procedure definitely I will come there. Tx

The Dr here seem to not care or rush you out the door. The hospital has gone down hill for years. Used to be called poly Ryan. Nickname killoryan. Has not got any better in the years. My wife went in with a very abscessed ear lobe. In a lot of pain. Dr came in for a few seconds only prescribed antibiotics not drain the ear. Decided to go Methodist on 59 the dr there said yes it needs to be drained. How Oakland of Richmond stays open or keeps their certification is beyond me

OakBend is a phenomenal facility. They provided great care for me from my preop experience on through and up to my discharge. Nurses provided me with outstanding service. Everyone at OakBend went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great. The food was top notch and the young man who brought my meal would always take a couple of minutes and ask about how my condition is. He’s a great asset to any company

It’s worth noting that OAKBEND Medical Hospital is without any doubt one of the best medical facilities in Houston, TX. The medical doctor on duty was incredibly so thorough in rendering examination and treatment for which I am very grateful. Also, all the staffs, the X-Ray Technician and the nurses are absolutely wonderful for the services given. They wasted no time at all in making sure that I was seen by the doctor. Thank you so very much OAKBEND Medical Hospital for taking care of me today. I will forever remain grateful.

I want to thank everyone that cared for me during my hospital stay. From ER to ICU the nurse Kyleigh and Cathrine gave 110%, they are true nurses and I thank God for them, along with the 5th floor staff who was very caring. I want to send special recognition to Oakbend Cardiaologist, Dr. Malik, he is the one that notice something was wrong. He insisted that I needed to go to ER. He got a wheelchair and took me to ER and made sure I got in the room and spoke with the ER Dr. and let him know what he had notice with me. He went above and beyond what others would have expected him to do. I thank God for sending Dr. Malik my way that day. I know I have said it so many time. But I'll say it again I thank God for Dr. Malik.

Dr V in ER was very good , he took his tom, we never had to wait to see him & yes I’d choose him overall! He was awesome with my husband & got to the point & gave us the answer’s when I ask !

I’d give more stars if I could! From the moment we arrived today 9/25/25, we were treated very kindly and compassionately. Our final RN Linda was so amazing & caring, as were all the staff, I wish I remembered names for all of them but every staff member we encountered tonight was so so amazing & kind to us from the receptionists, ER tech, nurses, doctors even down to housekeeping staff. Went above & beyond as well! The level of care was incredible! I can’t thank them enough for all they do.

This hospital is so cheap. They won’t even provide pillows in the ER for sick patients to come in for comfort. They stick them on a hard cot you can’t even have a pillow. That tells me that this hospital is really that cheap and stingy with their money
