For context, I am a physician who has overseen stroke certification and quality programs at 4-5 regional facilities, and my father himself is a physician. PAM Sugar Land Rehabilitation took excellent care of my father after a very difficult and complicated series of critical illnesses which required prolonged hospitalization after a fall-related surgical procedure. He suffered multiple issues including cardiac arrest, acute respiratory failure, acute on chronic renal failure, seizure, stroke, sepsis, and severe acute toxic-metabolic encephalopathy. He required numerous intensive care procedures, including intubation, continuous dialysis, feeding tube placement, and wound care to multiple areas of significant necrosis and pressure sores. When he was stabilized after an extended ICU course, he could not eat and required a feeding tube. He had to start a complex daily dialysis care routine. He could not independently communicate, feed, toilet, or walk. He had deep and disfiguring wounds on his hands and painful sores on his heels, as well as significant disability due to immobility, including foot drop and post-stroke paralysis. PAM SL Rehabilitation accepted him with his complicated conditions, and nurtured him to the point that he was able to eat and discontinue his feeding tube. He was provided consistent frequent dialysis even through periods of holidays. The physical, occupational, and speech therapists showed compassion and dedication to his recovery, and he had fond memories of working with staff members including Wesley, Jason, and everyone including the CEO. The Rehabilitation doctors and consultants brought him back from a condition of significant memory loss and inability to communicate, to an independently ambulating physician who is now able to return to performing complex programming tasks which even I am unable to comprehend. The Rehabilitation team demonstrated understanding in tailoring his stroke certified rehabilitation regimen, and extending his training and inpatient stay to help us prepare for his return to home rather than to a skilled nursing facility. The case managers were very helpful with identifying home health and physical therapy resources which enabled him to continue to recover over many weeks. They also helped provide essential medical equipment, such as power wheelchair, shower seat, and exercise equipment, all in a seamless package of recovery after return to home. I attribute my father‘s return to normal cognitive function and near normal physical function to PAM Sugar Land Rehabilitation. We were happy to continue to work with PAM outpatient therapy for many months after a period of home therapy, with miraculous results as he shed one walking aid after another. He is now able to return to many of his previous activities, including reading, complex computer programming, helping out with office tasks such as billing, all after being on the brink of a catastrophic prognosis. He still loves to return to the scenic water view by PAM Sugar Land to enjoy walks where he took his first step outdoors after his coma. My family and I are grateful to PAM Sugar Land Rehabilitation and its staff for restoring my father to independence and better health.

I am a recent above the knee amputee and PAM Health Rehab the Heights was recommended to me by Warner Van Stone of OP Solutions. She guided me through the process of referral after my surgeon deemed me ready. I am forever grateful to her and all the excellent care and therapy I received there. My pain was well controlled, the meals were tasty and healthy, and the nursing care was outstanding. Asia, Fidel, Celeste, Beyonce, Eric, Hector, Helene, Faith and the rest of the nursing staff were attentive and compassionate. Dr. Guerro, Dr. John, Dr. Mack, Dr. Azzam and his colleague were thorough and listened. Jacob in PT and the OT staff will push you hard and when I got home my transfers and navigation were surprisingly easy. Jacob is adamnant about safety and rightfully so. Thank you all for making my stay educational and as pleasant as a hospital can be. You all are my "go to" for any potential rehabilitation needs.

I want to think all personal at oam from the janitor to all the staff. Thank you for treating me so nice. If they were to ask me who is the nicest I would say I cannot answer that and I can't and I won't because everybody has been so nice all the same. And I'd I was to pick one person I feel like I would discredited the rest. So thank you everybody for all that you have done for me.

No matter which therapist you get you will get awesome service. As soon as you come in the door you are greeted by Mr Kevin and then you get to the window and talk to the 2 ladies and sign in and then comes the good stuff. You are greeted by one of the therapist here and they will have you do the best exercises that will strengthen whatever you are having trouble with even mike the painful will not stop until you are completely fixed, I love it and they make us feel like family by all the love and respect they show us ❤️

Excellent place to take your love one! Doctors, nurses,OT & PT are the most nicest, polite and understanding team. Thank god this place exists even the kitchen lady were the most nicest people. PAM is a very pleasant place to do rehabilitation. My hospital stay was at PAM in the Heights. From the housekeeping staff, the therapists, the aides, the doctors, the nurses...the entire operation is so through and impressive. I would certainly recommend PAM to anyone who is looking for a rehabilitation hospital. Highly recommended, thank you PAM!

My brother just finished a 12 day stay at the Heights Hospital upon his release from a short hospital stay. He was not well enough to go home. Pam Health was great. They addressed multiple issues he was having. Treatment of his complex conditions was top notch..The entire staff especially the nurses, therapists and aides were very polite, professional,helpful and friendly. Pam Health was a life saver for us. Our entire family is grateful for the quality care.

I am not one to write reviews, but this particular one I have to for me. I was hospitalized at a name brand hospital in the Medical Center Houston Tx. I was in the hospital for several days and the doctor said that I could not go home because I had a fall at my house and that I needed to go to a rehab facility. The hospital chose Pam’s place in the Heights location. I was DETERMINED that I would be okay to go home. Unfortunately I didn’t have a choice.
I was fighting all the way there that I didn’t want to go.
Well, ladies and gentlemen let me tell you it was THE BEST EXPERIENCE that I have ever been to.
The compassion that was shown by ALL the staff drs, nurses and ESPECIALLY the occupational therapy and physical therapy were THE BEST without a doubt was unbelievably impressive.
I have been here for a week and will be leaving tomorrow. I honestly have to say I am going to REALLY miss this facility and the staff. Every time I needed something like water or help going to the bathroom…they were right there in a jiffy. If I didn’t like my dinner they went down to the cafeteria and made me a new meal to make sure I was happy. This place goes OVER AND BEYOND to insure you have a pleasant experience here.The compassion that was exhibited was WITHOUT A DOUBT exceptional. Kudos to this faculty. Gold stars all the way around.
If your loved once need a rehab facility, pls consider Pam height rehab, and you will not regret this decision.

My 90 year old mother suffered a stroke. Went to PAM in the Heights following a week at Methodist. The PT, OT and nursing care have been superb. With knowledgeable and careful guidance from the PT and OT, she is making great strides. I highly recommend this place.
