I had a wonderful experience at PAM Health Rehabilitation in Sugar Land. The entire staff was compassionate, professional, and attentive to every detail of care. From the nurses and therapists to the support team, everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and supported in my recovery. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and provides a positive healing environment. I truly felt like I was in good hands and would highly recommend this location to anyone in need of rehabilitation services.

Hello Natalia Day, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us this feedback. Thank you for the opportunity to care for you!
I’ve had a wonderful experience I learned at experience and I want to give thanks from the heart that I enjoyed every minute that I was here. I’m glad that there was no other place for me to go to the love. Here has been spread above and beyond. I’m so happy to tell everybody about the progress that I have with me now that I didn’t have when I came in, no idea what to expect from this team, but I wouldn’t trade it back for the world. I will pass this along to anyone that think or I know that needs therapy and hopefully to help you gain a bigger space in Jesus name. Amen

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of patient care, and we love to hear when we have exceeded that goal. We will be sure to pass this along to our team.
The admission team, MDs, nursing staff, PT/OT/ST specialists were awesome. My parents can't say enough about how much they loved them. 10/10 for those folks, BUT, honestly, if I could give 2 separate reviews, I'd give the discharge team (the case managers) 2/10. They handled Mom well. It seems like they were in a rush to get my father out before the 4th of July holiday, though, despite us having filed appeals with my Dad's insurance to have him stay longer for more care. We won the appeal, but the case management team had already transferred my father before the decision came back. I would like to name actual names here of who we dealt with, but to be fair, I won't (especially because one of the offenders has already been mentioned in a previous review). The case management team would eventually blame my parents for agreeing to the transfer, but my parents said our main point of contact was basically missing in action the day they forcibly discharged my Dad. I reached out to our main point of contact twice after the fact about it, she never called me back. I eventually got her boss on the phone, and he had all sorts of excuses and was super defensive, despite us winning the appeal. Case management left an awful taste in my mouth after what could have been a great stay.

I recently completed my clinical rotation at PAM Rehabilitation Hospital in Sugar Land, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this facility. The staff here consistently strives for the absolute best for their patients. I witnessed firsthand the empathy and dedication they bring to their work each day. What stood out to me most was their strong sense of teamwork and the family-like dynamic they’ve built, everyone takes care of each other and works together to provide excellent care. The doctors are top-notch and deliver great service while maintaining a supportive and welcoming environment. They not only made me feel comfortable, but also challenged me to grow in my knowledge, practical skills, and confidence during this experience, none of which would have been possible without the incredible support I received. A special thank you to my clinical instructor, Jason, MOT, OTR, whose guidance was instrumental in my development. I’m so grateful for this experience and truly hope to return after graduation to continue growing in the field of occupational therapy.

Gissele Everhardt, we really appreciate your positive review! We hope to see you soon!
For context, I am a physician who has overseen stroke certification and quality programs at 4-5 regional facilities, and my father himself is a physician. PAM Sugar Land Rehabilitation took excellent care of my father after a very difficult and complicated series of critical illnesses which required prolonged hospitalization after a fall-related surgical procedure. He suffered multiple issues including cardiac arrest, acute respiratory failure, acute on chronic renal failure, seizure, stroke, sepsis, and severe acute toxic-metabolic encephalopathy. He required numerous intensive care procedures, including intubation, continuous dialysis, feeding tube placement, and wound care to multiple areas of significant necrosis and pressure sores. When he was stabilized after an extended ICU course, he could not eat and required a feeding tube. He had to start a complex daily dialysis care routine. He could not independently communicate, feed, toilet, or walk. He had deep and disfiguring wounds on his hands and painful sores on his heels, as well as significant disability due to immobility, including foot drop and post-stroke paralysis. PAM SL Rehabilitation accepted him with his complicated conditions, and nurtured him to the point that he was able to eat and discontinue his feeding tube. He was provided consistent frequent dialysis even through periods of holidays. The physical, occupational, and speech therapists showed compassion and dedication to his recovery, and he had fond memories of working with staff members including Wesley, Jason, and everyone including the CEO. The Rehabilitation doctors and consultants brought him back from a condition of significant memory loss and inability to communicate, to an independently ambulating physician who is now able to return to performing complex programming tasks which even I am unable to comprehend. The Rehabilitation team demonstrated understanding in tailoring his stroke certified rehabilitation regimen, and extending his training and inpatient stay to help us prepare for his return to home rather than to a skilled nursing facility. The case managers were very helpful with identifying home health and physical therapy resources which enabled him to continue to recover over many weeks. They also helped provide essential medical equipment, such as power wheelchair, shower seat, and exercise equipment, all in a seamless package of recovery after return to home. I attribute my father‘s return to normal cognitive function and near normal physical function to PAM Sugar Land Rehabilitation. We were happy to continue to work with PAM outpatient therapy for many months after a period of home therapy, with miraculous results as he shed one walking aid after another. He is now able to return to many of his previous activities, including reading, complex computer programming, helping out with office tasks such as billing, all after being on the brink of a catastrophic prognosis. He still loves to return to the scenic water view by PAM Sugar Land to enjoy walks where he took his first step outdoors after his coma. My family and I are grateful to PAM Sugar Land Rehabilitation and its staff for restoring my father to independence and better health.

Thanks for your praise and kind comments about our team. Your wonderful feedback and rating mean a lot to us.
My husband was transferred to PAM Heights from Memorial Herman following a tragic work incident. All of the nurses that attended him were phenomenal and always in such good uplifting spirits. OT/PT were also kind. Unfortunately when it came to case management they were mediocre. I was contacted initially when it came to his admission following that nobody communicated with neither him nor us. When it came close to his discharge he had to attend post op visits. One his visits with a neurosurgeon to have staples removed was missed because they clearly didn’t know what they were doing. When addressed they had the audacity to point fingers back to me and my husband who was bed bound at the time and literally didn’t even know the names of the surgeons or procedures done to him. They claimed the appointment was made and then canceled by “us”. I contacted people higher in command and our workers comps case manager to figure out was going on after they literally transported my husband to his “canceled appointment” Rosa the case manager phoned me with an attitude asking me what was I “confused” about she then proceeded to visit my husband in his room with the same attitude asking him “what was his wife confused about” mind you this was our first interaction with her in the two weeks he was there. I can’t imagine how they are with the elderly community who has even more trouble understanding their care. I spoke with the Neurosurgeons team and an appointment was never made much less canceled. I had to male the appointment myself after he was discharged. Medications that were sent out and were to ve covered by workers comps case manager weren’t because they weren’t sent with any other information. I had to pay out pocket for 3 of those and still cannot obtain the rest because it still doesn’t show they are covered.
