My daughter got various external scholarships. She also got a scholarship from Montclair to cover some of the cost. Halfway through the first semester they decided since somebody else gave her a scholarship they will deduct it from what they gave her. So basically they're taking money away from her. When she contacts the financial aid department she gets no no emails returned. The communication is terrible. It's really disappointing that a university is run this way. Trying to get a call back or an email reply is non-existent. It is a total scam. It is called "displacement" and is illegal in New Jersey. Don't believe whatever amount of money they offer you is what you will actually get. Makes me very angry.

We were at MSU on the first day of the Neo Science Olympiad... The student center was beautifully designed, it was the university's student hub... There was a variety of food and drinks...
