Bought my vehicle here to have my spark plugs and wires changed. They did that. I have no problem with there. Once the initial repair was complete I was called and told that I had a misfire on cylinder 2. I was told that it was the ignition coil. I told them no problem, repair it. I asked if they took the coil off cylinder 2 and put it on another to text to see if it was in fact it was the coil. I was told yes they did that. I asked again just to make sure. She told me yes they changed it to another cylinder and the misfire was not on the other cylinder. The next day I get a call stating that they did not replace the coil pack and that the issue was something else. I asked “but didn’t you talk me yesterday that they test the coil on another cylinder to see if that was the issue?” She simply stated that she misspoke. The truth is she didn’t misspeak. She lied. They didn’t test the coil on another cylinder. After this I told them I wanted to pick up my vehicle. I can’t trust anything else they say about a repair because I’m not sure they would be honest.

My sister recommended Allen’s Auto Care. We have been looking for a reasonable and honest shop and we’re very happy we came to this place. The job was completed in a timely manner and even when there was a slight delay, they communicated with us and gave us an update.

When you go for car repair and pull up in a 1970 Corvette, most places shake their heads and say no. Allen's welcomes you with open arms. I had a difficult situation with a steering column that was handled professionally and correctly. I will be back for future service for sure.

Great service on our Blazer thermostat and sensor. We went there after another shop tried to basically rip us off. We will definitely use them again.

I'm so glad I found this place. Extremely nice and honest people. Tammy is wonderful. I was quoted a crazy price (180$)and 3 days for an AC DIAGNOSTIC ONLY by a place in spring. I was in and out in of Allen's in about 30 minutes with my AC working for a little over $100. Check out their Groupon but call and talk to Tammy first. You will never go anywhere else again.

This shop was awesome! The lady running the place is a BOSS - so kind and amazing customer service! Not only are they fast, but thorough and reasonably priced. They also made sure to let me know if anything seemed off after leaving to call right away - not many car repair shops care this much! I will definitely be taking all my auto service needs to Allen’s in Porter, even though they are 25 miles away from my home!! Feeling grateful!

If I could give 6 stars to this business, I would. These people have been a saving grace through my car trouble. They're respectful and the nicest people on the planet. I can't recommend these guys more!
