I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with the Audi West Houston service department. I have previously had my vehicle serviced here and was very pleased, so this experience was especially frustrating.
During my recent service visit, I was told there was a nail in the center of my tire and that I should purchase two new tires. I took my vehicle to another reputable tire center for a second opinion, and they found no nail, no screw, or any puncture whatsoever. I was also told that both tires were in good condition and should have approximately three more years of usable life.
What concerned me even more was what happened when I called Audi West Houston back to ask for the picture they said they had taken showing the nail. I was told they could not provide the picture because there was no picture on file. Then, the explanation changed from there being a nail to there supposedly being a screw. At that point, I was extremely uncomfortable with the situation and felt that I had been given misleading information in an attempt to sell me tires I did not need.
Unfortunately, that was not the only issue. I was also provided with a loaner vehicle, and $10 was charged to my credit card for fuel before the fuel gauge was even checked. The charge was eventually refunded, but only after I contacted the dealership myself, and it took approximately two weeks for the money to be returned.
I purchased my Audi in September 2024 and had previously been very pleased with Audi West Houston. However, this most recent experience has completely changed my impression of the service department.
I expect honesty and transparency when I take my vehicle to a dealership for service. If a tire genuinely needs to be replaced, I have no problem paying for it—but being told there is a nail or screw when another tire professional finds no puncture at all, followed by changing the explanation when questioned, is extremely concerning.
I hope Audi West Houston takes this feedback seriously. Customers should be able to trust that recommendations from the service department are based on accurate findings, not unnecessary sales!🙄

The service advisor did not understand how to access and use my platinum level service plan, tried to talk me into keeping a bent rim on a $120,000 car with the service dept “trying to add weights to balance it”. Also tried to talk me out of ordering the rim because it would take “2 to 3 weeks” to come in. Lastly, when I called on the Monday morning to see if it was going to be ready that week I was told no - then received a text 4 hours later telling me it was ready and I had 12 hours to pick it up or be charged for the loaner car. It was 3 PM and I live 2 hours away, was at work, and the dealership closed at 5. I had to argue for an hour to get a one day extension to pick the car up. Audi North Austin provides much better level of care, with luxury client detail and consideration. I’ll never return to west Houston.

Did a major service at 40000 miles changed two tires, and it took a whole week without a back-up car! Sending messages a couple of times and barely got any response. The tires got delayed for 3 days! We went for the trade-in, just before we settle on the car, they said the $2500 which was supposed to be deducted from the service couldn’t be deducted anymore because there was an internal misunderstanding from their two departments.
Never had that kind of experience from any dealer!

I worked with Eric Sabre, in short, would I go to Eric Sabre again? No!!!! I brought my car in with a check engine light and I can't lock it periodically. I provided a video from a week ago, but the worker said it was two months old. Even with my device I read the errors. The service said they didn't read the error, and I picked up my car with the same problem! I had the same problem and Jon Dakus took my car in, and he did everything professionally, He did a lot of test drives and kept my car longer because I pointed out that this doesn't happen every day and sometimes the lock malfunction appears after a couple of days and it was necessary to wait until the lock malfunction indicator appeared again.
Eric Sabre simply sent my car back and told me to bring it back when the error appears (and I have to pay $519 for diagnostics each time). I also took it with an additional breakdown of the SOS signal!
In the future, I will only make appointments with Jon Dakus

I brought my car to Jon Dakus 4 times, I was very satisfied and I highly recommend Jon Dakus!!!! In the future, I will only make appointments with Jon Dakus!!!
I picked up the car from repair on January 8th. The central locking system was broken, so they gave it back like that. This is the fifth time this has happened with the central locking system.
