The staff at BMC North Hospital were top notch! I had to bring my kid in for testing due to multiple symptoms. They got her in/out quickly! They asked all the right questions to get to the underlying cause of her sickness and gave her the necessary medications/treatments to get her on her way back to a healthier state! They explained all medications prescribed and how to do the proper dosing for after care! Definitely recommend!

Dr.Orette WORST “DOCTOR “ EVER DOOO NOOOT COME HERE these people are all rude as hell there was maybe 2 nurses who were actually very nice and informing us what was going on the doctor is rude and did not inform the patient (my spouse ) what he was giving him when I asked he got very aggressive and bothered and stated “ if you don’t trust the doctor diagnosis then get the hell out “ and called security made me feel very uncomfortable and anxious like if he didn’t know what he was doing because he got so offended on a simple question of what are you giving my spouse due to him not telling us what he was doing in the process. AGAIN Dr.Orette is the doctor who is very unprofessional . He is the the male sitting in the back in the photo AGAIN DO NOT COME HERE

My experience is way different they just rushing me home without any pain meds after my surgery and I keep telling them that where I'm from the pharmacy is closed so I would have to wait a whole day before I would be able to get any pain meds

Had a surgery done here and was a bit worried beforehand based on the reviews I read… I can’t speak for those that seemed less than pleased, however my experience here was truly AMAZING! The Anesthesiologist explained everything I should expect and had great bedside manner. The recovery nursing staff was highly tentative to my needs. Even got me a fan and a Starbucks after I was cleared by my doc! I felt like a celebrity with my own private care lol. I later found out that there’s new management begging with a new COO who seems to be doing an astounding job! Whoever you are, keep it up 😀👌👌. I’ll be telling my friends and family to come here if they want to be treated like a rockstar!! 🤙🤙

I have been coming to this location on Red Oak for years for a CT and I have never had problems until now. First what would normally take max an hour for a CT took 3 hours the technician could not get an IV started and blew a vain she had to call a nurse who also blew a vain and then called an EMS worker who was able to get it started. Now trying to call and get my report and I have been on hold forever. In fact, the phone never rang it went straight to music. THIS PLACE IS HORIBLE and all I need is my report I will never comeback here.

STOP, TURN AROUND. DO NOT ENTER. I wish I could give zero stars. I would not come here to get my toe nails clipped. I brought my mother here for severe hip pain. She is 54 years old, healthy, besides high blood pressure. Saturday she woke up and couldn't turn over. She didn't fall or anything like that. However, she can barely walk. Even the slightest movement is really painful. Normally she doesn't need any assistance walking but right now she is literally using a cane. Dr. George Miller (white man) comes in asks a few questions. Makes an unfounded statement about her having high blood pressure and arthritis...(she does not have arthritis and nobody said she did) Arthritis is determined by a urine test, which they did not do. They took a urine sample but it just sat on the counter in the room with us. Her blood pressure was really high because she is in pain but she had already taken her meds for day. Her hip is tender to touch. He didn't do any type of physical examination. He didn't test range of motion. He literally did nothing!!! He literally said "this is not an emergency" and refused to do any type of imaging and left the room. He was in the room for a total of 5-7 minutes. Only thing he wanted to treat was the blood pressure. He made it seem like he couldn't do the xray because of the blood pressure. The point of us coming to the ER was to get her hip Xrayed. As a Dr. I think it's common since that her pressure is high because she is in pain. Especially if she already taken her bp meds. He told her to follow up with the PCP... what is the pcp going to do that he can't do in the ER? The moral of the story is never trust a doctor. with dirty tennis shoes.

Had a surgical procedure at this facility and I would not feel safe coming back. I have had many surgeries so I know that the very basic care from an anesthesiologist should be to come and talk to the patient prior to the procedure. The anesthesiologist never came and spoke with me and then as I was being wheeled back told me that I couldn’t get the medicines that I needed. I didn’t get pre medications that I need for a serious health condition, I felt undignified and unsafe during my procedure. He also didn’t speak with me after the procedure and I had severe post procedural nausea. Fortunately I had a very kind nurse that gave me an anti emetic for my nausea. I was also called the day before my procedure to be told I needed a cardiac clearance and the only reason I got it in time was because I already had a scheduled appointment otherwise my precise would’ve been cancelled. I don’t know why they even bothered with that because nobody took any considerations in terms of cardiac care during my procedure. I am attaching a picture of my arm when I got home which is petichiae from the blood pressure cough which was too tight on my arm where I was cringing from the pain during my procedure because I didn’t have adequate sedation or pain control. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in the care I received.

If I could give BMC North 100 stars, I would.. I went to emergency room and they took me right in. I have received the best treatment ever from this hospital they have gone above and beyond. No other facility has treated me so well before. I had to be admitted and the 2 days I was there all staff were friendly and caring. Good job !!! And Thank you!!!!! 💞

This is my 3rd time I am going there to do my mammogram. Staff polite. The person who did the mammogram and the doctor who review the results were super friendly, nice, polite and explained me clearly my results. The prices no very cheap but I can no complain. I had a good experience every time I went there.

I used to love this Hospital, I have referred my friends and family. But things have changed since Covid. If I could give "O Zero" Stars I would. Tammy/Tammie is one of the 1st people you see when you go to this ER As a patient you already don't want to be at the ER but it must be urgent otherwise you would wait to go to your doctor's office. Tammy/Tammie has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! She is VERY RUDE. She talks to people as if they are BENEATH her. She is NOT a NICE person in my opinion. When we walked in she looked and responded as if we were interrupting her and she was upset that we came. The ER intake was empty no patients, but I guess she didn't want to work as we didn't feel welcomed. She said in a rude tone as she sighed, "What are you here for"? As I was telling her why we were there she said "ID and insurance" in the middle of me talking. Then when looking thru my wallet for my insurance card she said in a rude tone "You don't have insurance" I felt so uncomfortable! We just wanted to leave because of how rude she was. On top of that she didn't have on a mask and kept coughing and didn't cover her mouth. She looked at us like we disgusted her. Someone at UMMC needs to train Tammy/Tammie on how to provide Great CUSTOMER Service Skills or Maybe this is not the job for her. I can't say maybe it's because she's having a bad day, because this is the 2nd time this year I have been to this hospital and her rudeness/attitude has not changed or improved and not only one person recognized how rude she was, 2 people did that I know of. 😔 I really like UMMC, when they call me I always give them a positive review. But not this time. The way Tammy/Tammie treated us really made us feel uncomfortable.
