I had the pleasure of working with John and he is absolutely wonderful. I applied for my apartment on a Monday and by Friday, John let me know I was approved. Amazing service, quick turn around time and extremely responsive. If for whatever I have to move again, I’ll definitely be coming back to these guys.

Since i first came in contact with this real estate all the vibes has been positive. Where ever we had to meet they was on time. Any question i had they had the answers. When we was in the process of applying for an apartment the landlord rented out but the real estate found us another one right away and we got approved. I would highly recommend them

This place is absolutely amazing.
I was starting to become a bit disheartened as my apartment search for a place within my price range was starting to look a bit out of reach.
I initially reached out to Devoted in search of a studio apartment. I saw some of the postings online and applied for one of the apartments but unfortunately, it was taken already. Then I received a phone call from John, one of the Realtors at the office.
I spoke with John and he let me know that they may have other apartments within that price range and to stop down at the office to take a look.
Overall, I worked with Devoted for about a week and found an amazing apartment. Not only were we able to close a deal in a week, but it was also an upgrade from a studio to a 1BR at the same price tag.
Honest,polite, and professional. Absolutely fantastic service -- 10/10. I will definitely be looking forward to working with John and Moe again in the future if needed.

Buyer, know your Rights!
They will charge you a huge 'Non-refundable Broker's Deposit' if you decide to apply. No application fee will be charged (which is normally 55$ to 100$ per person which is non-refundable as per market standards). I later found out this isn't even legit.....We paid a 1550$ deposit for an apt whose rent was 1550$. At the time, we didn't notice the non-refundable clause in their receipt (which was error on our part, but house hunts in NYC are tough & people get desperate). But this, by no means, is a legitimate deposit amount that any broker should charge you... all other brokers we worked with dissuaded us from putting down anything more than $300-500 as a good-faith deposit, which seems reasonable.
We decided not to go for the apartment and after much negotiation & debate; they agreed to return half of the deposit after we asserted our intention to complain to the NY State housing department. It was an avoidable situation that the brokers could have prevented from happening.
As a Business, Devoted Real Estate’s #1 goal is client satisfaction. People contact and reach out to us to save the time and hassle of looking for quality apartments on their own. A 1 month deposit to secure an apartment while an application is pending is definitely a standard practice. All of our clients up to this point understand this policy and have had no problem acting accordingly. Once a receipt is given, a client is always informed that as long as you have not been denied or the apartment applied for wasn’t given to anyone else, one cannot simply back out of an application process. In most if not all cases building managements require deposits before even looking at an application to ensure a prospective tenant isn’t wasting anyone’s time. After getting the above client approved for an apartment they decided it wasn’t for them; offered our office a fraction of our standard broker fee which is 1 month and fought us for the full amount all the meanwhile the funds were in the possession of the building management who gave us a challenging time giving the money back because a lease was produced. Unfortunately, as an intermediary between client and building management it falls on us. Different buildings/landlords call for different application/deposit practices; it is not the same for all and one cannot just assume one process is superior to the other. We are transparent with clients 100% of the time and keep them updated from start to finish. Apartment hunting can be a stressful time for a client; we are hired to reduce stress not add more of a burden, a transaction is as easy/smooth as a client makes it.

Devoted real estate literally goes by its name -Devoted. Totally . The agents are so devoted to helping you find an apartment. They work so good with you and with the management. They make sure you get an apartment and fast too! My agent, John, was so great. He made it so easy for me and for my parents. Our credit was average and our income was average too hence we felt so confused and so lost. But he showed us so many apartments in one day and the paperwork was ready all in one day ! Fast service. I definitely recommend going to Devoted Real Estate. They really are devoted !

Apartment hunting is definitely no walk in the park. I've been looking for an apartment for about a year. There were a lot of frog like apartments out there... I believe I've seen over 50 apartments. And then *POOF* - on Monday night I contacted Devoted Realty on Naked Apartments' site. I got a call from John on Tuesday afternoon, saw the apartment two hours after the call, fell in LOVE with the apartment, and that was the end of my endless apartment viewings. I was approved within a day and was able to sign the lease today.
Working with John has been a pleasure. He is patient and willing to answer all my questions. I probably asked him 100 questions today! This is the first time I haven't felt anxious about moving. John made sure I was prepared and always answered my texts within a few minutes.
I had the pleasure meeting Mo today and I have to say that my impression of these two gentlemen is that they are respectful, patient, and pretty awesome. I definitely recommend working with them to find your next perfect dream home. I haven't told them this yet, but I've already given my colleague their info!!

They really had more to offer than any other brokers I had dealt with in the previous weeks and were flexible in scheduling because I have a very difficult schedule to abide with. They found me my perfect apartment and am so happy they were willing to work with me. Definitely recommend them 100%!

When my boyfriend and I began our journey looking for an apartment in Brooklyn we felt very discouraged and unsure if Brooklyn was the right location for us after we viewed many apartments that did not meet our expectations. It was when we met John and Mohammad at Devoted real estate that our minds quickly changed and we started to have a positive outlook. John not only made our experience a positive one but also unforgettable. We found an amazing apartment in Brooklyn that we never imagined we would.
