Let me start off by saying this facility is very nice and clean, and the nurses there are great for the most part, I will not take that from them. However, my dad was there for almost a month after having a below the knee amputation, and was discharged at the last hour on a Friday evening. Originally he was supposed to go to another facility because he needs more therapy, but the case worker Natalie told him that he had been denied at 4 pm at the other facility(which had previously been approved)and that he would be discharged from Encompass health between 6-7pm this was on a Friday so of course we couldn't get in touch with anyone and had to bring him home (this has to be done purposely). My dad is not able to go to and from the restroom (so he shouldn't have been discharged), or even get into his wheel chair so he has been in the same spot at home since we left there in my family it's just us women and we have not been able to assist him. He has not been able to do follow up appointments or see his doctor as no one is able to help him into the wheel chair. I just think they could've done things better like make sure he was able to get around on his own, be more patient with him as I know he's a difficult patient as he doesn't trust well, he can't hear well at all, and he is blind in one eye all while just having his leg amputated so therapy may have been more difficult for him so instead of meeting frustration with frustration they should of met frustration with patience, encouragement, professionalism, reassurance, and firmness. Instead they wanted him out and I believe they either put false things on his charts or didn't do them right as to why he got denied for the other facility. Natalie should have contacted the insurance company and appealed the decision and tried to help in every way she could but she didn't nor did answer calls after the fact, as a case worker she failed him. He said all she did was say you can do this you can do that but she didn't understand he was trying to tell her he had never done anything without assistance, so how would he be able to do it at home alone with absolutely no assistance? He can't he's been in one spot since he left there and that's what those charts should've reflected. He was sent home with a catheter, and staples in his knee. Only one nurse has been over there once and it's been two weeks no one is coming out calling like they said they would. It is very frustrating as a daughter to not be able to help her father, or at least have the proper instructions (a better case worker could've at least made it more manageable with better guidance, help, and information on who to contact for help)but I am giving it all I've got. I pray none of you, it none of your parents are ever treated like this. I deal with difficult customers all day and though it's just customer service I still meet ppl with understanding and compassion so in the healthcare I would've wished they could've did the same instead they met frustration with frustration.

A great place to start out your rehabilitation from and injury and/or surgery.

The therapists, nursing & assistance staff, and administrative personnel were all very professional and excellent.

I am so glad I was able to come here to begin my rehabilitation.

Completing survey on behalf of my Mom who stayed 9 days of rehabilitation.

The staff, therapist, custodians, the people that brought food and her Case Manager (Lindsey Johnson) during her stay, went above and beyond to help her through her journey of recovery.
The cleanliness and amenities of Encompass are too notch.
My parents (our Dad also stayed with her during her stay) made them feel comfortable and assured of the process.
My parents wish to acknowledge all the staff there for all their hard work but a big shout to Max (one of her therapists) and Lindsey left a special experience for them.

The nurses, doctor(s), therapists, and staff were wonderful, patient, supportive, and pushed me on to recovery.
If you or anyone you know needs medical rehab I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and more importantly, these people!!!

I was at Encompass Health of Katy 2 weeks after my neck surgery. I'm glad I picked this facility. They assisted me to get stronger to return home, through P/T, OT, and nursing. No place is 100% but I give them 95% in their care. (Not receiving my diabetic snack at night unless I asked. It's important to a diabetic) other than that I was pleased. Thank you Encompass of Katy for your care.

I am very pleased with the care I was given at Encompass Health Rehab. The staff from the front desk to each and every person who took care of me I give an A+ score. I needed every single one of those people and they took excellent care of me. I was in a safe, secure and clean environment. I really appreciate it.

This is the best rehab hospital, hands down! my husband had a stroke with max assist and no other rehab would accept him. I want to thank Crystal who pulled strings to help him get admitted. Everyone here was so positive, supportive and empathetic, they treat you with kindness and respect. Any issues we had they would address it. Dr Lin was amazing, kind and listened to our concerns. OT Merilyn is a gem, she truly cares and tries her best to educate family on how to transport at home. Also Pt Marissa. Case worker Klarissa is also very helpful in helping us find resources and kept us updated along the way. The supervising nurse Nicky was so sweet to bring balloons /card on his birthday to his room. Thank you for everything you did for my Husband.

I had an above the knee amputation. The Administration was very attentive to my daily needs and the needs I would have after discharge. Dr Mathium is a very caring and competent doctor. The Nursing staff is awesome. Always smiling and brought positive energy to me. The Physical and Occupational Therapists got me prepared for my are journey. They worked me hard, but that was what I needed. The atmosphere there is ",Let's get it done" with a smile. I highly recommend Encompass Humble.

Helped my father in law tremendously in his recovery after a stroke. His case manager was awesome with communication and helpfulness as well as his care team!
