It started off well with National Insurance of America. However about a month into the insurance, I received a mail in the letter saying there is an increase in a premium by 25%. The main reason given was because instead of brick veneer the predominant material of the walls was siding. Which does not make sense and claiming it was vacant. They came once when we were out of town and claimed that fact. The building is occupied by 4 people.
I did not agree to the increase in the premium, so they they cancelled my insurance - they they refunded only 2/3 of my premium. For less than 2 months worth of coverage. I don't know what my agent Junaid was doing to help address this but it just seems like he is a middle man that pings information back and forth

Tim, we respect each and every customers concerns and comments, however when someone is upset wrongly on us we would like to make clear the facts and our side of the story. There were few reasons why your premium went up and the main reason was the property was vacant which was found later as you were not transparent about it. I wish you had disclosed this initially, especially when we had asked about it. Secondly there are some guidelines based on which the insurance companies sets the premium which for you maybe does not make any sense but for insurance companies it does, and that complies to what you mentioned the structure siding instead of B/V and that makes a very big difference. Also we wanted to clear one thing that the insurance company did not cancel your insurance, but it was done as per your request! Keeping all the facts in mind we do not find the reason for you to be upset when the facts were not transparent.

I usually don;t write review, customer representative that I spoke with was extremely rude. Your company is not first that I contacted. So next time you should do your job well. Before you conclude clarify with your customer thanks

I'm sorry to say but I've no idea when you do not provide your info how in the world we can just provide coverage over the phone-sorry it does not work like that
