I almost never write reviews; Alan is worth the exception. Buying a used car right now in Houston feels like wading through a flood of garbage Internet listings, half of which are scams. I liked Alan's post because he said he was straight and to-the-point. I got the car at a really fair price, and the whole transaction, from when I first reached out to when I signed the papers, took about two days.

Later in that first week of ownership, my fans stopped working, which frankly really sucks in the Houston summer. Even though Alan had no obligation to help me, as I had completed the purchase, when I called him he said to bring it in immediately. He diagnosed the problem quickly—the fan motor had gone out; the timing was just unfortunate. He fixed it for free, paid for my Uber back to my house, and then drove the car over to me the next day. He really wants to provide a good service, and he does. There's always some amount of risk when buying a used car, since none of us are psychic, but I don't think there's a safer bet than Alan. I've been recommending him to friends since.

We are very happy with our entire experience with ASM. My husband wanted a commuter car, something not too expensive and dependable. He's a mechanic and had a specific car in mind. After looking all over Texas and just about giving up, we found Alan's ad. The vehicle was everything he said it was and we were super happy with the process. Alan is very professional and stands by what he sells. We received the title and plates very quickly. I will definitely send friends and family to him in the future.

We just bought a used car from ASM Autos and had a very pleasant experience. Alan is professional and helped us find a great reliable car for my sons first car at a great price. He's the only dealer I now who drives and fixes, if necessary, every car he buys and performs important maintenance even though he doesn't have to. The reason he's a five star dealer and I hope you find out why too. Will definitely use again.

Recently (1 month ago) my son needed a vehicle. He let me do the searching because I enjoy it. That is how I found Alan and ASM Autos. He had a nice little Buick that I took for a test drive. Ran good, looked good, and sent my pics and opinion to my son. Son said he wanted it. I asked Alan if he could hold it for a few days, might take a week, so my son could get off work and I could pick him up to which he said yes. Long story short my son got a nice car at a good price. He has had it a month with no problems and loves it.

It’s very hard buying a used car nowadays because theirs a lot of junk out there, but when I saw a posting Alan had for a Jeep Liberty and what he described about the vehicle over the phone it seemed too good to be true, so I took the trip to come check out the vehicle and everything checked out like the way he said it did on the phone, went through with the purchase and now I’m a happy owner of this mint Jeep, very grateful for Alan for helping me step by step with this purchase, will definitely come back soon to get another vehicle from him for my kid! Don’t sleep on him you guys if you’re in the market for a new to you used car lol

I bought a 2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS from Alan at ASM Autos at the end of this past September. Alan was very easy to work with and upfront with where the car was at mechanically and what work he had done on it. He accommodated my odd schedule (I had to drive in from out of town in the evening to see the car), answered all my questions, and gave me several helpful tips on keeping my car healthy. Alan had the right balance of being a salesman while not being overly pushy, which I appreciated. I have owned the car for three months now, and I have had no major issues with it. I replaced the CV axle, and the brake pads and rotors need replacing, but those are parts that typically wear out so it's nothing related to Alan. I appreciated that he specializes in Subarus and was able to give me some specific info on Subarus in particular. The paperwork process was smooth, and I received my title, plates, and registration in the mail just about a month after my purchase. I would easily recommend Alan to anyone looking for a used car or anyone specifically looking for a Subaru.

First of all I don't normally write reviews . but we bought a used 2006 Ford F150 from Allen at ASM Autos found the add for the truck on craigslist, emailed him, met up and looked truck over , and made a deal to buy the truck. Now let me just say this about Alan, he is an up front honest person. sells good quality used vehicles , at a fair price . friendly , matter a fact type of person. he was GREAT though the entire process, takes care of all of the paper work . we felt like we have just made a new friend . if you know of anyone looking to buy a good used vehicle this is DEFINITELY the Man to go see THANK YOU AGAIN ALAN Mark& Linda

Alan was great, definitely no nonsense, but I was looking for a vehicle for my son's 18th birthday and saw his ad. We took it for a spin, it had a few tweaks I'd like to have seen done and he fixed it up before we purchased. Excellent to work with, made sure we were happy and even threw in an oil change and new wipers are the end for free. Definitely would do busines with Alan again.

The overall experience with Alan and ASM is truly the best experience I have ever had purchasing a car anywhere! I have purchased many cars over the years and will continue to purchase from ASM. I was in the market for an older Jeep Wrangler TJ. It took all of 10 minutes looking, driving and discussing with Alan to know I wanted it. The price was excellent and now, after 5 months of owning the vehicle, It's the best decision I have ever made. Vehicle is solid and have not had a single issue at all. ASM sells solid vehicles at extremely affordable prices. The purchase process was simple and straight forward. I watch his website daily for another Jeep and would not hesitate to purchase another one from him. 5 Stars is not enough stars for this business.

I bought a used car thru ASM. Alan was straight forward with the vehicle history and condition, no surprises with the car. I felt that I got a very reasonable deal and that Alan was very trustworthy. When I need another vehicle I will go to ASM first. Just adding an edit, I've been back twice more to buy two more cars from Alan and I've been very happy with each one.
