Had a good experience here with a Klein high school alumni. Diagnostic work was done in a reasonable amount of time and estimates with cost were professionally prepared the same day. I haven’t agreed to any formal repairs yet, but I’m planning to do so based on my experience so far.

Charles, thank you! And it's always good to see a fellow Klein Bear walk through the door! We're glad the team got the diagnostics completed quickly and gave you clear estimates and information without any pressure to make a decision on the spot. We appreciate the opportunity to earn the repair work too!

Thanks again and take care!
Jeffrey J Klima, Owner
Eagle automotive and transmission is truly an amazing shop. I recently just bought my first diesel truck and brought it to the shop to perform a pre purchase inspection. With no knowledge myself about diesels, GM Christian was able to provide a lot of knowledgeable information which helped me out alot with my curious questions. Even fixing the issues they found with the truck came out perfect and the truck drives as if it was brand new! They provided honesty and trust which was a warm feeling for me knowing I purchased a good truck. I thank everyone in the establishment and will definitely continue to go for any services!

Cameron, congratulations on the first diesel! Those trucks can open up an entirely new vocabulary of things to worry about. 😂 We're glad Christian could answer your questions, help you understand what you bought and get the issues we found corrected so you could actually enjoy it. Most importantly, we're glad we gave you some confidence that you bought a good truck. Thank you for trusting us with it!

Enjoy the truck and take care!
Jeffrey J Klima, Owner
My AC compressor officially bit the dust over the weekend. I usually do most car repairs myself, but without the proper equipment, I knew I had to bite the bullet and get someone to fix this one for me. I brought my car in first thing Monday morning and they knocked out a full replacement and got me back on the road by Tuesday afternoon! They did great work and it didn’t hurt my wallet too bad either! I’ll definitely be bringing my vehicles here for any future work, especially the more difficult, time consuming jobs. Thanks guys!

Michael, as someone who normally does his own repairs, you probably know better than most when a job crosses the line into "I'd rather let somebody else deal with this one." 😂 We're glad we could get the compressor replaced quickly, get the A/C blowing cold again and keep the damage to the wallet reasonable too. We appreciate you trusting us with the jobs you don't want to tackle yourself!

Thank you and take care!
Jeffrey J Klima, Owner
My normally reliable 2017 Infiniti QX 70 had a transmission issue requiring a new transmission. With over 150,000 miles on it I did not want to spend a lot for the repair. The guys at Eagle found a used transmission from a Houston company at a reasonable price. At least as reasonable as a transmission replacement can be. Got the part in one day and they had it replaced and ready to go the next day. The car has been running great ever since.

Danny, "reasonable as a transmission replacement can be" made me laugh because that's unfortunately a very accurate way to put it! 😂 With 150,000+ miles on the Infiniti, finding a good used transmission was a much more sensible option than throwing unnecessary money at the car. We're glad we could locate one quickly, get it installed and, most importantly, hear that it's still running great!

Thank you and take care!
Jeffrey J Klima, Owner
This place came recommended to me after contacting and visiting 3 others which could not service an oil change on an Audi q5 due to lacking the specific oil or filter.
Eagle ordered it and serviced my car the next day. A Take 5 location from the day before failed to put the oil cap on after checking my car. It sprayed oil all over the underside of the hood of my car. Eagle was able to find the cap entangled somewhere, and even went above and beyond by cleaning the tremendous amount of oil off. Customer service from Austin and Jeff was 10/10. I am so thankful I came to Eagle, where I plan to get my future oil changes

Lindsey, thank you for such a great review! Finding an Audi oil filter apparently shouldn't require a three-shop scavenger hunt. 😂 We're glad we could get what the Q5 needed, get the oil change handled and find the missing oil cap before it caused you any more grief. Cleaning up the mess was the least we could do. Austin and I really appreciate the 10/10 and are glad we've earned your future oil changes!

Thank you and take care!
Jeffrey J Klima, Owner
Juan took excellent care of my daughter’s car after the electrical system got possessed. Turned out to be a small glitch, but they told me it needed some suspension work to keep my zoom zoom princess safe. A couple days and she’s back behind the wheel and I have peace of mind. Excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff.
Very customer service driven! Chris thank you for taking care of our 2008 Colorado truck transmission and rear main seal. The truck drives and performs like new. We will be back for any future services that Eagle Automotive & Transmission offer. Thanks again for taking care of us!

Wow, that's fantastic to hear, Brian! We're glad that Chris was able to get your 2008 Colorado truck running like new again after addressing the transmission and rear main seal. Knowing that you felt so well taken care of and that you'll be back for future service means a lot to us at Eagle Automotive & Transmission. We really appreciate your business and 5-star review!
I paid approximately $2000 in labor for Eagle Automotive & Transmission to replace the head on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 L6. I provided all the parts for the job including coolant and break-in lube and oil. Within the first few miles of Eagle Automotive & Transmission completing the work, I heard a knocking noise coming from the engine. I immediately returned the vehicle to Eagle Automotive & Transmission for diagnosis, and they showed me that one of the number 6 rocker arms was not moving and they diagnosed it as a collapsed lifter. Since I supplied the parts (SBI – OEM Cylinder Head Components), Eagle Automotive & Transmission would not warranty their work. Over the past month, I was finally able to completely disassemble the engine and verify the problem. The lifter was not collapsed but was improperly installed. In addition, the work performed was very poor based on the following observations:
1) Lifter was not collapsed but instead showed signs of improper break-in (i.e. no break-in lube applied, oil pump not primed before starting engine, etc.) that resulted in premature wear and damage of the bottom of the flat tappet lifter where it contacts the cam lobe. See pic.
2) Failed to install all original exhaust manifold bolts. See pic.
3) Did not install the new exhaust manifold bolts provided.
4) Failed to install all four alternator mounting bracket bolts that secure it to the engine block.
5) Did not apply thread sealant on the number 11 Engine Cylinder Head bolt that passes through the water jacket.
6) Did not fill the radiator with the HOAT Antifreeze Coolant that I provided. Instead, Eagle Automotive & Transmission used regular tap water that caused premature internal rust of a brand-new engine head assembly and radiator.
7) Attached secondary electric cooling fan to a new AC condenser coil resulting in many of the fins becoming damaged due to improper installation.
8) Improper installation of the valve cover which resulted in at least one rubber bushing finding its way into the upper head assembly, leading to major oil leaks around the parameter of the valve cover.
9) Damaged new heat shield covering the exhaust manifold that shields the fuel injectors.
This was certainly not the quality of work that I expected after Eagle Automotive & Transmission seemed to do a good job of rebuilding the three-speed automatic (32RH) for the same vehicle only a few months earlier. In summary, I am very disappointed in the quality of work from Eagle Transmission for the $2000 in labor spent. Ultimately, I had to fix everything myself in addition to new parts and fluids that cost me an additional $1K. I have pictures and receipts to back up all my points listed above.

I am truly a very happy and satisfied customer. It is very hard to find places where they are honest about the issues you are having with your vehicle and very unfortunate now days with alot of mechanic shops trying to rip you off. Eagle Automotive and Transmission is the way the go for your mechanic needs. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing repairs on their vehicle. Jeff is the owner of this place and he communicated very well the entire way from start to finish on my 2020 Ram 1500 Rear Differential Repair. I usually never leave reviews but had to do it for this place that provided top notch service. I also like the fact that different repair options were provided on a detailed picture report. They will not start any of the repairs until you give them approval to start and never felt pressured to start the repair. My vehicle is running great with no issues!!! Jeff is not only an honest business owner but a man of his word in getting my vehicle to me as quickly as possible and made the repair process run smoothly. Thanks to the entire Eagle Automotive and Transmission team for the great experience. Greatly appreciated, continue to be honest and wish much success to you all!!
I came to Eagle to get my valve body replaced on my 2014 infiniti q50. Initially when I stepped in, Jeff was very friendly and helpful with any questions that I had. Both him and Brian (i believe was his name) we very communicative about what was happening with my car during the repair. This shop definitely seems more for their customers rather than for the money. They cut me a really good deal fixing my valve body, I would recommend going here for any issues.
Thanks to Jeff, Brian(?), and all of the techs/mechanics that worked on my car! I'll be coming back for maintenance when needed. :)
