Don’t bring your car here Selvyn Ellis lacks integrity- Experience = BBB- I paid $573.00 for absolutely nothing…NO invoice= NO work done. This business is not on file with the BBB I suggest you don’t render any services here. The person of contact is not the person who does the work! Horrible experience with this company!

We are sorry you had a bad experience with us. However there existed issues beyond a simple repair we discovered during service to the vehicle. We advised you prior to you picking up the car that more diagnostic would be needed and you agreed to bring it back the following week but that you needed your car back that day. It was only until your bf picked up the car did he inform us that a family member had replaced the camshaft. Had we known that beforehand we would have never taken this car bc this component is so crucial to timing issues that if there are any errors In the repair the timing will be off . The fact that this part was replaced signifies a more serious internal issue that were present. I offered you a partial refund and we did complete your ABS speed sensors however we could not reach an agreement prior to your post. When you took your vehicle to another shop instead of returning it to us voids the warranty we offer and that was also made known to you. again I'm sorry for your experience

I never try to leave bad reviews but these ppl janky. I paid 3.5k for a used transmission and within a week it was leaking oil. When I went back to them they said it was motor oil,and that I would have to pay again to figure out the problem... They didn't honor their warranty on the work and it was a week after getting it out the shop which was 3 weeks and not 4 days as he quoted me.
turns out it was transmission oil and they didn't tighten my bolts...they even left my splash guard unbolted.
considering the drama I went thru with sexual harassment from the workers I could sue but I'm not like that.
I wouldn't hire them again or refer anyone....
The owners wife is very nice so for that I gave 1star
update: it turns out the guy never welded my transmission back correctly and didn't put the seal on my transmission.when I came back the next week after it being in the shop 3weeks he could have clearly saw that but he didn't even looked.jist demanded I pay $80 to relook and I just paid 3.5k ......they not money hungry just lazy.Ive had conversations over the last year with the shops owner...They don't honor they work even if they say they do and it's a warranty it's not .get it in writing.I had to pay someone to refill my transmission with fluid and now I have to pay to get it resealed or done all over again...... Pay attention to your car and if you a woman go with a man .

So you post a bad review and attribute you encounter with the tow truck driver to us knowing he has never been an employee of us ...yet your months after posting this review you contact us for additional work on your car which we politely refuse to do...I'm sorry we had a difference of opinion on what was wrong with your car and I wish you the best in finding a solution to your issues ...thank you so much for the opportunity to serve you

This is the best mechanic shop I’ve ever been to work was done in a professional way. The owners were super nice and professional I’d refer everyone to them they made me feel like family I just love them
Mr. Ellis replaced my brake pads (front & rear) and ac compressor & drier on my acura tl. To access ac compressor required fender & condenser removal and in this process they noticed missing screws on ac condenser fan. I dropped car off at lunch time and picked up at 6 pm of the same day. Highly recommend. A+
