Unfortunately, I have to edit my previous review.

I brought my car in for an oil change last Friday. Asked them if they check everything and top off fluids. Was told yes they do. Saturday, there is an Engine Coolant message on my dash. I didn't have time to take it back to them at that moment. Tuesday, I notice an oily spot on my driveway from where my car was. I took it to the dealership since it is closer to my house. I called Streamline to let them know I had an oil leak and asked if they would cover any cost. He said NO I had to bring it back to them. I didn't have an oil leak BEFORE i took my car to him.
It's a shame, because I was liking this little place.
I was going out of my way to bring him my business. Needless to say, I won't be back.

We are going to be very clear because this review leaves out important facts and creates an unfair impression of how this situation was handled.

When you called Streamline Autoworx and stated that you noticed an oil leak, we DID NOT refuse to address the issue. You were asked to bring the vehicle back to our facility so we could inspect it and determine exactly where the leak was coming from and whether it had anything whatsoever to do with the oil change we performed.

Instead, you chose to take the vehicle to another repair facility and then asked Streamline Autoworx to pay for charges from a third party without allowing our technicians to even inspect the vehicle.

The answer to that request is, and will continue to be, NO.

No reputable repair facility should be expected to blindly accept financial responsibility for another shop's diagnosis or repair without first being given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle. The fact that a problem appeared after an oil change does not automatically mean the oil change caused it.

The same applies to the coolant warning. An engine coolant warning can occur for numerous reasons, including a coolant leak, failing component, sensor issue, or an existing condition. An oil change does not suddenly create a coolant system failure. Had you returned the vehicle as requested, we would have been able to properly inspect and document the condition.

What is especially disappointing about this review is the suggestion that Streamline Autoworx simply refused to help. That is simply not an accurate representation of what happened. We offered you the opportunity to bring the vehicle back for inspection. You declined to do so.

We stand behind the work performed at Streamline Autoworx, and if our technicians make a mistake, we will take responsibility and correct it. What we will NOT do is accept responsibility for an unverified issue, authorize another facility to perform work on our behalf, or pay another shop's bill simply because a customer assumes that a problem must have been caused by us OR that the dealership is "closer" to you.

Customers are absolutely entitled to choose where they have their vehicles serviced. However, if you choose not to allow the original repair facility the opportunity to inspect a concern, it is unreasonable to later accuse that facility of refusing to stand behind its work.

We value our customers, but we also value the reputation of our business and our employees. We will not accept blame for a mechanical condition that we were never given the opportunity to inspect, verify, or diagnose.
