Plaza College is EXTREMELY pricey, but you are guaranteed a degree as well as your High School Equivalency. This school is more of a “catch up” school, if you never finished high school. Speaking with the representative is horrible, she cuts you off when speaking and most times doesn’t answer calls.

After many years away from school, I decided to continue my education. A few of my friends graduated from Plaza College and spoke very highly of it, which encouraged me to give it a try.
I scheduled a tour with the admissions department, and I’m very grateful to the entire staff, especially Ms. Jennifer Niebling. She guided me through every step of the process, and I was able to submit all my documents in a very short period of time.
The entire staff was very organized, responsive, and supportive throughout the whole process.
Looking forward to this new chapter—wish me luck!

If you are considering trying the A to Z class, please read.
I have been interested in stenography for quite some time, so when I came across Plaza College through a Google search, I was already excited. Once I learned they offered a free A to Z class, I was genuinely thrilled and knew I had to sign up.
I recently took the Stenography A to Z class led by Cindy, and it was such a great experience. Cindy really takes the time to get to know each student, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. She is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, which made the class feel comfortable, supportive, and encouraging from the start.
Kayla was also very well spoken and knowledgeable, and the other team members were extremely informative about their experiences and clearly passionate about helping students. Everyone at Plaza College was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process. It is refreshing to be in an environment where people truly want to see you succeed.
What stood out to me most was how engaged everyone was. All of the students actively participated, and you could tell we were all genuinely trying to learn the alphabet together. Starting out can feel a little intimidating since it is essentially like learning a completely new language, but the way the staff supports you and how you grow alongside your classmates makes it incredibly motivating.
Hearing success stories from guest speakers who are actively working in the field was also really inspiring and made the experience feel even more real and achievable.
Overall, it is clear that everyone involved truly cares about your success and your future career. I cannot wait to start this journey with Plaza College. If you are even thinking about it, I would absolutely recommend giving the A to Z class a try.

The A to Z program was nice. The teachers were patient, kind. The homework was good at reinforcing what we learned in class. They had a speaker come in to tell us about her court reporting journey and had a give away for a steno bag.

The A-to-Z class is an excellent way to explore whether this career path is right for you. In just four sessions, you gain a surprising amount of knowledge and hands-on experience. The instructors and staff at Plaza College are incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your success. Our teacher Mrs. Cindy is very amazing and she encourages you and is always open to helping you in whatever way needed. I highly recommend giving this class a try if you’re considering learning this skill.

I recently completed the A to Z class at Plaza College, and I genuinely had a great experience. Even though the course was only four days long, I learned so much more than I expected. Mrs. McMahon was an amazing teacher she made the class enjoyable, easy to follow, and kept everyone engaged the entire time. I’m really glad I decided to try out this class. If you are thinking of committing to court reporting or aren’t sure and want to see if you enjoy it, definitely take this class!

I first enrolled in Plaza College back in 2011, where I entered into the Medical Assistant program. I graduated in 2013 with my Associates degree in Allied Health and was able to successfully gain employment as a Registered Medical Assistant. Every step of that journey was absolutely amazing. I was able to flourish within the program thanks to all the support and the resources the school offered.
Just this January (2025), I discovered that Plaza college was now offering a 16-month accelerated program to obtain a Bachelors degree of Science in Nursing (BSN). It is a very well-known fact that any nursing program in any school is a very competitive program to enter. What I most like and appreciate about Plaza College is that they prioritize their students first for entrance into their nursing program. This shows how much they value their students, and how much they want to see us succeed. With this in mind and with such a great initial experience at Plaza, I had no doubt that I wanted to rejoin Plaza college and transition into their nursing program.
I knew that it had been some time since I had graduated, and that I would have to retake some classes, or take some for the first time in order to qualify for the nursing program. I was admitted into the allied health program in May to complete my prerequisites (Chemistry, A&P 1 & 2, Advanced Composition, Microbiology, Statistics, and Bio-Chemistry). I am currently in my last semester of prerequisites, I have successfully passed my HESI examination, and was recently accepted into the January 2026 Nursing Cohort. I couldn’t have done it without the help, support, and encouragement from the professors I have had the privilege of having so far. I am looking forward to the many new experiences and the knowledge I will obtain from the nursing program. I am looking forward to working hard to make my dream of becoming a nurse come true.

Plaza College's Allied Health program has been amazing. I am so grateful that I applied here.
From the first phone call with admissions, I was provided a holistic review of my academic experience and given a very supportive push to have all of my documentation submitted within the required time frame.
This program provides the necessary prerequisites and gives you an excellent foundation for success. I have never been part of an academic organization that supports its students so much. During my entire experience with prerequisites and required exams, I have continued to be impressed with Plaza College. Throughout my journey, I've felt a consistent sense of guidance and care every step of the way.
The professors and faculty are incredibly kind and encouraging. They really make an effort to know every student individually and connect very often. At any given point, I felt comfortable reaching out and getting clarification or simply to express my gratitude.
Applying for financial aid was made so simple, where it had previously been such a painful process.
If you are looking for a school that will challenge you to be the best student you can be, Plaza is the way to go.
Overall, Plaza College’s Allied Health program has exceeded my expectations, and I’m truly grateful for the support I’ve received.

If I could give this school ZERO STARS, I would.
At first, everything seemed promising, they sold me a dream. Jennifer appeared understanding and supportive… until she wasn't. The moment you start asking questions or advocating for yourself, that support disappears. It was incredibly discouraging.
Despite transferring in with many credits, I was told I "wasn't ready" for the nursing program—completely dismissing my hard work and experience. Then there’s the HESI exam situation, which is a total mess. I personally witnessed students who failed multiple times still be accepted, while others who passed were ignored or never contacted again. I was denied another chance, while others got 3 or 4 opportunities.
They also manipulate your schedule to force you into part-time, just so you don’t qualify for full financial aid or grants. As a result, I’m now in $15,000 of debt for a school that gave me nothing in return.
Thankfully, by the grace of God, I found a university that welcomed me, fully funded my education, and is offering a far better program.
PLEASE, do your research. This school is a scam and will waste your time, money, and confidence.
