What a cookie is
A tiny file your browser keeps for us so the next page knows something about this one — mostly, that you're signed in.
The cookies wowpilot sets
Needed for the site to work
wpsess— your session. Created when you sign in, deleted when you sign out. Without it you're a visitor, not a member._csrf— a one-time token that stops another website submitting a form to wowpilot as you.
Bot check
Signing up, rating from a new account, and reporting a rating anonymously go through Cloudflare Turnstile, which sets its own cookie purely to tell people from scripts. We never read it.
What we don't set
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking.
- No analytics cookie that identifies you as a person.
Saying no
Clear cookies whenever you like from your browser settings. Clearing wpsess simply signs you out. Blocking the necessary cookies altogether means you can't sign in, but you can still read every rating on the site.
If this changes
Any cookie added or removed updates this page and the date above. Anything material is also announced on your account overview.
