Reaching us
Email [email protected] with your outlet, your deadline and a line on the angle. We reply to journalists within one business day, usually faster.
The facts
- What: wowpilot — an independent site where customers rate the businesses they've used.
- How ratings work: every submission is screened before it publishes; automated filters first, then human review of anything flagged. Removed ratings can be appealed.
- Paid removals: none, at any price. Businesses reply in public instead.
- How it's funded: rating is free; businesses pay for optional tools (customer invitations, a live score widget, insights, team seats). Tools never affect a score.
- Search and AI crawlers: welcome. The site is fully readable by search engines and AI assistants and publishes an
llms.txtindex at the root. - Claiming a page: business owners prove domain ownership through one of five server-verified methods before they can reply or edit.
Logos and screenshots
Ask and we'll send the wordmark, the mark and current screenshots in the format you need. Two requests: don't recolour or crop the wordmark, and don't present the mark as an endorsement of a business.
Stories we can speak to
- What "moderated reviews" means in practice — the queue, the filters, the appeals, the numbers.
- Why rating sites keep drifting toward paid removals, and the maths of refusing.
- How AI assistants use review sites when people ask "is this company any good?"
- Review fraud patterns we see, and which ones the filters catch.
