When we got to our room floors were never vacuumed even after asking staff about it, only got out of five night room service one and half times.
The silverware was dirty not clean. Was placed in a handicapped room even through we did not booked one, the staff never got back with us on replacement room. However the lady for the breakfast with the food and especially the coffee was A+++ with her service. Location was ok, pool was ok and fire pit definitely adds to the place.

Visited the Westin as a staycation. Definitely overpriced for what you are getting. Service is lacking. Couldn't get a hold of room service and the staff was not very helpful. Would not stay again too many nice hotels in Houston to stay at for the price. Seems like they were understaffed or very unorganized. Was trying to order a drink from room service and wasn't able to get a hold of anybody other than a busy signal and it would just keep ringing to no end and then eventually just a busy signal. Tried services button and also tried contacting the front desk. Something as simple as that says a lot about the hotel

This is an older property -- possibly a former apartment complex.
The current management is doing their best by providing tidy rooms, crisp clean linens & a decent breakfast.
That said, I cannot stress too much the this is an OLDER property. Rooms are accessed directly from the parking lot or exterior stairs & walkways. Rooms are NOT accessible directly from the front desk by way of a nice, indoor hallway.

Now, with all that said, if you're Ok with an old motel vibe, then I recommend you try this place as it offers a great location & very good value!!

IF, HOWEVER, you want a modern, plush hotel, then stay away!

Me? Yeah, I'd stay there again.

The location is amazing, walkable to Galeria. The room was good, with a lot of
Space, however they could use some upgrading. Breakfast was the lower point, nearly absent some days, they do not refill even coffee. No bread .

The room needs to be updated! The tub was very rusty and it had orange rust around it. The bed especially needed to be swapped out, it was extremely squeaky and uncomfortable I can feel the Springs as I was laying on the bed. I don't think the cleaning ladies really clean the room because it definitely looks like any day a deep cleaning. The front desk lady was absolutely amazing and she was very professional and friendly.
