If I could give 0 stars I would. I am appalled by the way they treat their patients. I cannot believe we are in 2024 and we are still forcing people to wear masks. I have cancer it is my choice whether I want to wear one. If I have a cold or a fever I would wear one but this is ridiculous and not even based on anything that can be medically proven. And when pressed about their policy no one can site the why. I'm so sick of this sheep mentality. Just blindly follow without any evidence.

Oh my god what an amazing place! I have had only amazing nurses and patient care techs(PCT) who have been nothing but supportive and caring. That was in the hospital. I then went to the inpatient physical rehabilitation center where they continued the great care with no drop off in care. The nurses and PCTs were equally fantastic.

The rehab center was a bit dated and could really use a billionaire to donate to upgrade it. That said the occupational and physical therapist were super attentive and helpful. Despite the limited equipment in the rehabilitation center the fact that you have access to all the same doctors and resources of the main hospital is critical.

My oncologist Dr. Palowski I saw there took his time with me and super thorough. My physical rehabilitation doctor Dr. No and Dr. Yalov were great. The doctors from supportive care were super understanding and supportive. Making sure I had what I need which when suffering from pain is critical. I saw there were not many reviews which I believe is because people do not want to advertise their they have a serious illness. I get it.

I have been to countless hospitals, met countless doctors and nurses this is the best by far. I understand why it is so highly rated. I am a retired physician so I can see things from a different angle.

My brother was brought to MD Anderson from the valley... I believe that DHR at Edinburg, Tx, did an amazing job at sending him to this amazing place. This place will be removing a very big and dangerous brain tumor. The staff members are very friendly and are amazing everyday heroes who work hard to care for patients who are in need of serious medical conditions. I applaud all staff from housekeepers to nurses, aids, and doctors. From my family, we thank you for all you do!
