Rate it a 0. Poor quality of service and communication. Rude psychiatrist. They sent my husband with Alzheimer’s back in extremely poor physical condition his memory care facility. He was hallucinating and his ability to walk was impaired. He was fine physically when he was admitted. We wanted to to hopefully change his medications to see if it would improve his level of aggression. We got a zombie back.

One of my geriatric patients was recently admitted and the family have been very unhappy with the level of care. NO one from the hospital ever contacted me to discuss my patient being in the hospital or asking for her medical/psychiatric history. The family gave them my information and the fact that I have treated her for many years. Upon discharge, NO ONE from the hospital notified me or sent any medical information for continuity of care. This is the lowest level of medical care and very unprofessional, demonstrating very poor medical operations and poor discharge planning.

Oceans doctors, therapists and staff are thorough, compassionate included us in knowing our son when he asked for help! This was a blessed answer to our prayers... the medication changes and intense therapy has brought our son back better than ever. We highly respect their wisdom and attention to the "whole person" in their treatment. Please call Oceans Behavioral for anyone in need of Psychiatric care.

Thank you for your kind words! We are proud of our team and grateful for the opportunity to provide care in our community.
The only good thing was an hand full of the staff. Other than that I would not be going back. It's places like that, that makes people not want to reach out for help along with 1st responders. When you let your ego take place instead of listening to your patients who have been fighting for years with the same illnesses you should listen. Just because we there doesn't mean we don't know what is happening. Then they start giving you medicine you don't even need or ones that interferes with other treatments you are on for other medical problems you have. Are you just don't need.

Awful place to put a love one. I was assaulted by a male patient who beat me in my head, while the night shift nurses looked on and was assaulted by male and female staffers nurses and techs when I wasn’t able to speak. They “beat me on my kneecaps with their knuckles and should have sent me to ER for eval of head trams”. I was told to, “go ahead and try to sue the owner and get in line with other patients that tried to sue the company”. I never received a visit from assigned case worker to admit me to facility so I was being held, “illegally and against my will”, even though I fill out one of their forms that would have let me leave within 24 hours, but form was never placed on my chart. I’m sure it was put in the trash just like other incident reports that I wrote up and gave to nurses. I had an order from court to hold me for three days for psych eval and treat but was held another 10 days without an order. I was, and am alert, and oriented x3 and suffer from headaches from being beat in my head. This happened in Feb 2022.

My mother was a patient at this facility for 1 day after being hospitalized. In that one day she had a fall and sustained severe injuries. No one seems to have an explanation as to how the fall happened. To top that off we went to get her belongings only to find that her UGG slippers were no longer in her bag. I can only assume they were stolen by one of the very unprofessional care staff members or they sprouted legs and walked. To say we are one angry and disappointed family is an understatement. I would not recommend this facility to anyone!

I was looking at the reviews and Wow I am am sorry these people feel this way about Oceans!! My experience with Oceans Behavioral program was an amazing experience!! My Mom was so lost and she really needed help and the help that she had gotten from other facilities did not help like Oceans!!
The doctors and Nurses are so loving and caring! My mom was such a handful but they loved her treated her like their own family!! There are several people that helped my mom cope with life when she felt so lost and alone!! They did treatment plans and they involved me her daughter in it!! They all called me once a week with mom a physician a registered nurse a psychologist they all called me and gave me an update on my mom and we went over her medication adjustment if we had any! If there were any issues with my mom they would always call me! This place has done so good with my mom!! Now she is back at a Nursing home with coping skills that she learned there and finally is happy again!! She is always smiling before she went to Oceans she was so angry and was hitting punching and biting every with in reach so yes Oceans has has a HUGE impact on not only my moms life but mine as well!!!
Mandy Nichols has been such an Angel even when my mom left she kept in contact with my mom and that means so much to me!’ Leslie and Victoria were such caring and loving nurses to my mom!! There has been 3 Angela watching over my mom giving her the best care possible!!!When my mom had to be taken to the emergency room they all kept close contact with me and eased my mind about the care mom was getting!! I thank you everyone at Oceans for loving and caring for my mom like you all have!!!

I would like to say what a pleasure it was working with staff at Oceans Katy.
Richard was very helpful, quick to respond and nice. He made every effort to get the help we needed. Mandy I cant say enough good things about her. She came to assess and the care and compassion she showed during our time of need was enormous. The professional curiosity and knowledge that these two individuals extended was most graciously appreciated. Even the new nurse that had only been there a couple of days was so helpful and pleasant to speak with. We will be using and recommending their services again. Thank you for caring for our special residents.

First I want to say I volunteered to enter this hospital. They held only three groups the nine days I was there. They do not follow any social distancing guide lines at all. Patient are crammed to table to eat and watch tv. Chairs touch each other. The nurses were either yelling at patients or each other all the time it was a crazy environment. The men and women were housed in the same hall. Men entered women’s rooms several times a day and no one did anything to stop it. The rooms had ant that would bite you while you slept. The nurses threatened to slap the patient and even acted like they were going to. They threatened to send 2 of the patients to a hospital worse than this that you will never come back from. This was the nurses words. One women only spoke Spanish and instead of down loading a translation app on their phones, which the were on all the time, they just told her to sit down and be quiet every time she tried to talk with them. They did not want any patients walking around so all you would here was them saying sit down. The nurses changed one patients pull-up in the hall in front of everyone, there were four men and five women in the hall when the nurse pulled up her dress and took off the old pull up and then put a new one on. Her room was one door down. The nurse should have taken her to her room to preserve her dignity. Men use the restroom in my room, came over to my bed while I was sleeping, and even took naps in my bed during the day. I was afraid to shower for fear of men walking in on me. I eve became to scared to sleep. I stayed awake at night and slept in recliner in the day room during daytime for safety. One did walk in the restroom while I was using it. Most of the patients had dementia and had no ideal where they were and could not speak up for themselves. I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A HOSPITAL FROM HELL. I RECOMMEND THAT NO-ONE GO TO THIS PLACE AND PLEASE IF YOU HAVE FAMILY THERE GET THEM MOVED TO A DIFFERENT HOSPITAL. When I requested to leave in righting they kept giving excuses to why I could not leave. They gave me a copy of my patient rights upon entering but refused to follow them when I requested to leave. They changed my medicine for the nine days I was there and discharged me without prescription.
I had no choice but to go back to my previous medicine.

This 5 stars goes to a fantastic Case Manager/Discharge Planner who help my love one with discharge. Her name is Victoria Daily. My family member had to move on from his previous placement due to unfortunate circumstances. After his stay came to a close, he needed a new place to reside. Victoria worked very diligently to help us find a new place, and I really appreciate all her leads and hard work. Thank you Victoria. if the other reviews are true, then you are one of the better parts of the facility. Please continue to share your compassion with others, and I wish you the best in your future endeavors.
