Very disappointed with this dealership’s service and pricing practices. The price advertised online was completely different from the price given in person once I arrived at the dealership. I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership’s service department. Service advisor Sergio Barragán and manager Guillermo Villafranco were both extremely disrespectful and unprofessional during my visit. Instead of addressing concerns respectfully and professionally, their attitude came across as dismissive and rude. I actually talked to another staff member inside that I ask her opinion on the matter and she directed me to the Service Department manager he was polite and understanding of my concerns and honored the price listed online.

"Repaired here. Engine failed. Hyundai
Motor America says dealer is responsible."
Even though the General Manager knew this was illegal, he refused to provide the repair records I requested.
Meanwhile, the Director claims he is unaware of what previously happened and continues to change the person in charge, which appears to be an attempt to avoid responsibility.”
Hyundai Motor America states the dealer is responsible, while Group 1 Hyundai Southwest publicly denies any correlation. They are contradicting each other.”
I formally request a three-party meeting with the dealership and Hyundai Motor America to resolve this dispute.
If others have been affected by similar unfair practices, I encourage you to come forward so we can explore legal action together.
My experience with Sterling McCall Hyundai (Group 1 Automotive) was extremely disappointing.
The dealership repeatedly changed its explanations to avoid responsibility for a serious vehicle issue—first blaming the vehicle being used, then ownership length, and later a coolant hose. Representatives kept changing, and prior statements were not honored. Communication was dismissive rather than helpful.
A so-called “goodwill offer” was allowed to expire without resolving the problem, and I was even warned about private-property towing while the vehicle remained on their lot.
This dealership focuses more on deflecting blame than fixing problems. I strongly recommend choosing a different Hyundai dealership.
