I bought a supposedly “good running” used engine from Carbon Auto in March. After pulling the heads to replace all the gaskets before installing it in my truck, I noticed clear evidence of a blown head gasket and multiple stripped head bolts. I contacted the seller to refund me the price of a block and I would swap the rotating assembly. They have yet to respond, even after sending picture evidence of their wrongdoing. Granted, they might not have known the engine was bad at the time of sale, but after not responding with pictures, I’m sure they knew the whole time.
Beware of doing any business here, they won’t take any responsibility whatsoever and will likely lie to make a sale with total disregard of screwing someone else.

I would not recommend anyone do business with this company, retail or business to business. Purchased a custom package of wheels and tires to be shipped and installed on one of their vehicles and payment bounced. My company shipped the wheels and tires only to have payment bounce a week later and the owner does nothing but play games and now yelling at ME on the phone. BUYER AND SELLER BEWARE

Please don’t go here. Literally go anywhere else. You will regret it. Bought a car here, it literally died on the way out of the parking lot as soon as I bought it. After having “Mike” fix it, it repeatedly broke down every single day for weeks. Always a different issue. Finally I took it to a REAL place that actually knows what’s up and fixes stuff and aren’t scammers, it cost $1900 to fix. Like, the whole reason I bought a car from “carbon auto care“ in the first place is because I’m broke. Anyways, after the measly $1900 repair, it was fine for a few months. But the check engine light was on so of course that was another $900 repair to be able to pass the state inspection. We are THOUSANDS!!! down the drain now. All because I made the mistake of coming here. Four months pass and guess what? Car starts going crazy on the freeway! Transmission was all the way messed up. Went to see how much it was going to cost and oh nothing big just around $6000. I am begging you not to come here and please slander the name if anyone brings it up. I am still paying on this car and I don’t have it anymore. I haven’t had it for two years. All during the pandemic too. PS – the night I bought it. I went to a gas station afterwards and was talking to a local homeless man about how I bought a new car from “carbon auto care” and he laughed and said he had heard bad things about them scamming people, but I brushed it off, because I thought well what would a homeless person with no money no? Guess I should’ve trusted him. Thanks Mike! Also, I’m reporting you to the BBB 😘

Mike is a Con man to the fullest. I bought a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. First the vehicle leaked oil and engine had no oil in it when i received it, the sway bar bolts on the passenger side were broken off in the frame, None of the Headrest monitors worked, The tires were almost bald, The paint job it had on it was cheap, the leveling system is not working(The rear shocks and Compressor need replaced). When i called him and told him about these problems Mike denied all the problem even after i sent him pictures. Mike sold me a lemon and said everything was in good working condition. Mike did not offer the pay for anything. BUYER BEWARE AND DO NOT BUY ANY VEHICLES FROM HIM.

Omg, it's was the biggest mistake coming here to buy my car. After Mike sold me a car that I didn't want, things started to go wrong. My car turned into a boat. I have call n leaved ton of messages. Mike never returned any of my calls. There was no gas in the car when I pick it up, he did not check the engine like he assured me that they do, the car have no oil, no water, almost over heat on me. The AC was blowing hot air, the sensors keep beeping, the brakes light comes on, he tinted my windows with 2 different shades, the back console was broken, and many more. I bought the car from him 8/7/2018, today is 10/15/2018. Paper tag expired, he haven't registered my car at the DMV, I have no sticker, no plates. And he been avoiding me since. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Worst customer service ever!
