I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Perfect for the price. Even using the public transport with Houston's metro app never leaves you with a >5 minute wait but still there weren't a lot of interesting things nearby.
The coffee machine in my room was funny.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are perfectly clean and smell like a new house. Large side tables on each side of the bed, not cluttered with a useless phone. The fitness center is nice, it has one treadmill. I think they should replace the stationary bike with another treadmill. The staff are unbelievably nice. Especially the guard with the broken foot! He was so nice and helpful. Jin at the front and also the lady with the glasses that worked the evening of July 4 2026. So nice!!!

The receptionist was very efficient, helpful & friendly. The security guard was also helpful & friendly. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean & functional. The price was competitive and the location was very convenient (easy on/off I-45 freeway), quiet and felt safe. Unlike the majority of hotels & lodging options in downtown Houston, parking here was on-site and affordable. Although I did not use it, the pool area looked really nice & I wished I had time to enjoy it.

Loved our stay! The beds were super clean, the shower pressure was amazing, and the room smelled fresh and spotless. We also loved that the AC wasn’t blowing directly at the beds — so comfortable! The room was also very well furnished, unlike many newer hotels that look nice but barely have anything practical. Definitely found our new favorite hotel in Houston!

Best hotel I've stayed at. Great price through the Sams Club App. Very clean, comfy, and safe. The AC in the room is amazing. No ugly smells like other hotels I've stayed at. I felt safe at night because of the night time security. You need a parking pass to enter the property at night. 1 way in/out. Right in the middle of downtown Houston. I would definitely stay here again

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Downtown Houston for a business conference, and I cannot say enough great things about my experience—especially the outstanding service provided by the General Manager, Heath.
After returning home to Arizona, I realized I had accidentally left behind thousands of dollars’ worth of dress clothes in my room. As you can imagine, I was incredibly stressed. I reached out to the hotel, and from the moment Heath got involved, everything changed. He was professional, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping me.
Heath personally ensured that my items were located quickly, kept me updated throughout the entire process, and arranged for them to be carefully packaged and shipped back to me right away. His level of care, attention to detail, and sense of urgency went far above and beyond what I would expect from any hotel experience.
It’s rare to come across someone who takes such pride in their work and truly prioritizes guest satisfaction. Heath turned what could have been a very upsetting situation into a seamless and positive experience.
Because of him, I will absolutely be staying at this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Houston. Exceptional service like this deserves to be recognized—thank you, Heath!

Definitely a hidden gem! The manager and employees were so friendly. The best experience I’ve had at a hotel so far and I’ve been to “fancier” ones. Everything was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and they had a good selection of food.

I will most certainly recommend and stay at this property again, Best Western Plus, Dallas Street in Houston,Texas. The location was perfect for every activity I partook in. I wasn't far from any place of interest. I appreciated that the hotel has security, parking is reasonably priced, the pool area is attractive with a welcoming design and the jacuzzi is hot. The rooms are very spacious and clean.
I highly recommend.
