I had serious fall Saturday outside when my foot got caught in a fence and l fell and hit my chest on a paint can. I also had a deep cut to my leg. My brother took me to Sienna Methodist despite my objects and l could not drive due to the chest wall injury which they did not treat and l was released in 10 out of 10 chest wall pain unable to sit up or walk. They had only on MD who did suture my leg but l did not feel it was irrigated properly given bing outside. I am in health care and could not believe how l was discharged being told to leave. My mother recently passed and we had adaptive equipment in the house and my brother had to bring me a walker to get in the house! Really use and they are contracted from US Acute Solutions in Ohio. Never again so l had to start over this week in obtaining care for deep chest wall contusions in my entire left chest, It will take me weeks to recover. Their follow up consists of two AI generated texts. All they care about is laundering this review!!
Yes wound infection! Went elsewhere they did not want to treat as went to Sienns Methodist and may lose my skin etc has been eight days! Nightmare Methodist not treat chest contusions sent AI follow up wound is infected!

Usually i have a flawless experience at Houston Methodist. In advance of my MRI, they sent me an estimate of $500. I don’t have to pay anything for MRIs, and have already had two this year. I called their financial department and got instructions to call my insurance company to verify that I have no cost, and the day of the MRI to bring a confirmation number. I did that, and they still insisted that I pay $500 but were willing to ask me to pay 40%. But it was a matter of principle. I followed their directions and they still said I owed. I left, and have asked my doctor to send me to Alliance MRI, where I have NEVER had a problem with insurance.

Extremely Disappointed.
My father was admitted to Houston Methodist Sugar Land for a severe back injury that was worsening and left him nearly immobile—he could not move his legs, hands, and had limited arm function. He was already scheduled for surgery in a few weeks at Methodist West, but due to worsening symptoms, he was transported via ambulance to the Sugar Land location for immediate care.
After evaluation, the attending physician informed us that my father's scheduled surgeon only operated at Methodist West and recommended that we transfer him there as soon as possible. He specifically advised that we sign my father out Against Medical Advice (AMA) and transport him ourselves.
At this point, I asked multiple staff members if the hospital could coordinate an ambulance transfer. I was repeatedly given conflicting answers and ultimately told by the charge nurse that it was *“legally prohibited” for them to arrange a hospital-to-hospital transfer, and that I would need to transport him myself.
This resulted in a completely unsafe and frankly inhumane situation. My father—who was essentially paralyzed—had to be lifted into the backseat of my small car in some sort of sling by five to six staff members, all while still wearing his hospital gown and catheter. The entire experience was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and entirely avoidable.
When we finally arrived at Methodist West, I was told by several members of the staff that an ambulance transfer could have and should have been arranged with a simple request from Sugar Land. No legal restrictions, no denials—just a straightforward process that Sugar Land staff either did not know or chose to ignore.
This was not a simple miscommunication—it was a complete breakdown of basic patient care and coordination. I am both shocked and disheartened by the negligence shown by Houston Methodist Sugar Land. I will never return to this facility and strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when considering care here.

Methodist sugar Land's main concern is getting the patient out in 3 days to abide by insurance and not having to pay or look after your loved ones even after all blood work and tests come back abnormal. They still push your loved ones out even after talking to doctors and nurses about patient not being ready to leave but they are still going to push your loved one out with no care. The social workers are not helpful at all, we have to end up doing our own research and at a time when things are hard with your family I would rather there not be a social worker option if you're not going to do anything to help us besides make us feel worse and make us do more work when that is your job. Nurses and doctors have been pushing out my grandmother even though she needs help and her test are coming back abnormal. she's been in and out of the hospital three times in the last week because they don't want to do their jobs here. This has been a consistent problem since October 1st 2024 reaching one year now. Absolutely the worst place I have ever taken a loved one granted there are one or two good people here that try to do their jobs but that doesn't mean anything when 99% of them suck and don't want to do anything to help

My friend dislocated his shoulder and was panicking, while the lady in the front was super nonchalant and did not care about urgency whatsoever. We ended up leaving after having to wait 30 minutes. The place was not busy either.

My gallbladder pain ended up being a Month long hospital stay. I went in for pain and was admitted, the team on my case was great and they did what they could. I ended up needing surgery. Spent a whole night sick to my stomach and vomiting every 2 min for a total of 24 hours. Nurses reached out to the Drs but they didn’t want to give me anything cause I was scheduled for surgery. Ended up making it to surgery. Never met my surgeon nor did they come check on me. Ended up with complications and infections. And to this day still don’t exactly know what happened to me.
That being said, My nurses, house keeping, and Chaplin, and some of the drs were amazing and they really did take care of me and made me feel valued and cared for. I’m forever thankful for them and I will never forget those kind souls who cared for me when I was violently ill.

I called the ER at 1503 on 9/15/35 to ask a question about transport and got spoken to by the nurses as if I am an idiot. The charge nurse was basically yelling at me. Very rude. Very unprofessional. They also accused me of calling prior, which I did not. I have no idea what the process is for a patient to go from one facility to another, I was simply trying to expedite a process that has already taken over 2 hours. Was expecting to be spoken to like a human, trying to navigate care for a family member. Not have to defend myself and raise my voice to keep from being yelled at by a grown woman GETTING PAID to be rude. I will be continuing my complaint other revenues, just posting here for other caretakers to be aware. There are so many other options, go somewhere you will be treated as a HUMAN.

Whatever you do, try to avoid this hospital. The staff is far from courteous. Soon I'll be updating the names of the nurses and doctors

I gave birth here and I had the best experience, most of this was due to my incredible L&D nurse Irene she was so sweet, compassionate, patient, knowledgeable. Just knew exactly what to do. Anticipated my needs and took care of me to the highest level in such a vulnerable time. She made such a positive impact on my delivery. My husband and I will be forever grateful for her. Also my OB Dr. Diase was absolutely wonderful. I could tell she deeply cared about me and my baby’s outcome throughout the entire prenatal, L&D, and postpartum experience. Houston Methodist provided us as a whole with outstanding care
