Drove 3 hours for a large polyp removal and waited for hours to be told some very stupid stuff. Funny how they get you out by closing time huh.

Based on our personal experience, our time in the NICU at this hospital was very disappointing. Communication was inconsistent, and at times we felt our concerns were not adequately addressed during an already stressful period for our family.

Families rely on NICU teams for both medical excellence and compassionate support, and unfortunately our experience did not meet those expectations. I encourage parents to carefully research their options and ask detailed questions before choosing a facility for their child’s care.

They seem so disorganized and no one was able to answer any questions literally about anything we asked. My brother asked “will I be sedated for this procedure?” Nurse: “I don’t know”. When are they doing the procedure? Nurse: “I don’t know”. After they took him back for the procedure “How long can we expect the procedure to take?” Nurse: “I don’t know”. What do you know?!? How about “I don’t know, but I’d be happy to find out for you or get someone to speak with you that does know.” Then his fluid pump finished and was beeping for 20 minutes. I had to stick my head out and both of his purses were just behind the desk laughing and talking about who knows what, but I had to ask if they could address the fluid pump that had been beeping next to them for 20 minutes. After I had asked a few questions the male nurse cocked his head and squinted his eyes at me and said “and who are you?”. Also when came in and introduced himself as the night nurse he had in his hands a piece of printer paper with notes scribbled all over it every which way. Like that’s your level of organization?! There seemed to be no organization or compassion here. Definitely does not instill trust that you are going to receive excellent care here.

I’d give 0 stars if that was an option but the looks of how low these review ratings are there will be no changes . When my mother in law just had half a lung removed and she can’t get no one to come in the room with the call button THATS A PROBLEM she had to google the down stairs number and tell them to transfer her to the 3rd floor nursing station. 3rd floor do better!!! I know y'all are use to ppl coming and going and yall get careless and numb to situations but treat the patients like it’s a family member!!!! Do better or find a new career

I would give it 5 stars but the front lady was very rude in this new location for Dr.Chavez she is an amazing pediatrician I would recommend her to any other parents out there she’s the best in the old building the front counter lady’s were awesome we love Vanessa and she always greeted us and made our day with the type of person she is. Today we were expecting the same customer service except it wasn’t. We entered and there was only one lady at the front I understand she’s busy but her attitude was unacceptable she asked if we checked in which I always do but I haven’t been here for a while it flew over my head I got the text messages to confirm my appointment but never one about a check in. so she did good in letting us know to do it so but she said it all frustrated and started talking to the girl to the left of her of how busy she was, we sit down and start doing it now this is the part that bothered me a couple came in and they did do the check In and she said very loud “Thanks for doing it you are one in a million no one does it” we were already bothered with the way she was talking and had no “customer service voice” she was very rude and had no filter. They need to bring the Vanessa’s back.

Memorial Hermann Southeast played a critical role in saving my mom’s life, and our family is incredibly grateful for the care she received there.
My mom was transferred there from a rehabilitation facility after experiencing a medical emergency while at a rehabilitation center. The team acted quickly and immediately placed her on life support. The ICU nurses were beyond amazing. They took incredible care of her and kept our family informed. Nurse Dani and Nurse Ye provided extraordinary care and compassion during one of the most frightening times of our lives.
After several weeks in the ICU, she was moved to a regular room on Floor 1, where most of the nurses provided great care. There was one instance where a nurse on floor 1 was not as attentive and did not recognize that my mom was becoming unresponsive after we expressed concerns. My mom took a turn for the worse and was moved to Floor 2, though the transition was not clearly communicated with floor 2.
Thankfully, Nurse Ben and another outstanding nurse on Floor 2 immediately recognized that my mom needed urgent attention. A team of nurses and doctors responded quickly, stabilized her, and transferred her back to the ICU, where she was placed on life support again. Once again, the ICU team provided exceptional care and helped bring her to a full recovery.
When she was finally ready to transition to rehabilitation, the hospital made sure everything was in place to ensure a safe transfer and that she would have what she needed.
This hospital showed compassion, urgency, and professionalism throughout her stay. We are forever grateful to the nurses and doctors who cared for my mom and treated her with dignity. I would absolutely recommend Memorial Hermann Southeast.

My friend was seen here and they took very good care of her. She was severely dehydrated and had been vomitous and they fixed her right up.

I had an okay experience with the nurses and staff as far as care. BUT.....The cleaning staff stole my narcotic medication from my purse. I called the police and made a report while I was there. Now I'm suffering because my doc won't give me a refill because of the strict state laws.

I was admitted in the hospital for 5 days and everything was great I had no problem except the blood getting taken all the time but other then that I was fine I had to go on dialysis in for my stay everyone was nice and understanding my health.

Excellent care! My younger sister was referred to come here after going to the nearby urgent care. They have everything an Emergency Room has, and more. Their attention to detail made our experience a positive one. The doctors, nurses, and technologists were all patient and understanding. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is seeking emergent care. They have short wait times, and the facility is spick and span. 10000/10
