This service provider is great. I've been searching for a professional service provider who has expertise in Volvo repair outside of the dealership. PVS has been the best professional care repair experience I've had across different types of vehicle makes. The owner, Richard, has such a wealth of knowledge about old and new Volvo models and cars in general. I literally called one day and described my problem and he knew exactly the part I needed. I was able to get my car repaired in a reasonable amount of time too. Great shop, great service, and fair pricing.

I own a 98 Volvo S70. I would recommend PVS to any Volvo owner. Richard runs a very honest and trustworthy business. His shop has done from A/C repair. rack and pinion, clutch and misfire diagnostics. He always sends a detailed estimate. He explains in detail the problem and he has shown me old parts replaced. Hard to find outstanding work , honest and reliable shop. I would not take my car anywhere else.

I've been coming here for almost 4 years. Rich is awesome. He knows Volvo's better than anyone. Rich recently made some serious repairs to my engine. He took the time to walk me through his research, technical forums, and specialty tools are newly purchased for the job.

If you have a Volvo this is the only place to go. I have a 2010 XC60 and have used PVS since my warranty ended. Richard is very knowledgeable and carefully explains the work being done. The pricing is fair, and I trust their work completely. Great business!!!!

Professional Volvo Service is the best place to bring your Volvo for servicing and repairs. Without a doubt, Rich Polk--the owner of the shop--is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met with regard to Volvos. Ever since I started taking my cars to Professional Volvo Service, I have never taken them back to the dealer.

I first went to Rich in 2016 to have my Mom's car a 2005 Volvo xc70 get the 60,000 mile check up. It had 77,000 on it because the local Volvo dealer that she had used had gone out of business and she had not gotten any reminders and she was 84 and having some memory problems at the time. Rich did a full service of the car and did a replacement of the timing belt and brakes and a list of other needed maintenance at a fair price.

Flash forward to 2021 and the car was inherited by me after my Mom passed away in 2018 and I had a steering fluid leak, the car has 95,000 miles on it and I had decided to keep the car, it is in very good shape. He fixed the problems which were fairly serious and repaired and replaced a lot of if not all of the steering components as well as a few other things I added to the list. We did replaced the motor mounts as he had to lift the engine anyway. He does a great job and as a guy that only works on Volvos he knows the things that should be done if you want the car to run well and last a long time. I am very happy with his honesty and high quality work. I recommend him over the dealers in town....for sure!!!
