I like being able to pre register on line but when you get there and have to through registration it should not take so long. There was only 2 people working in restoration and had to wait at least 30 minutes. To sign and get info that was already on the on line pre registration. The people working registration should only have to verify you do have the insurance list on the pre registration info and then collect any copays

The parking lot is often littered with empty alcohol bottles, and the floors in the hospital rooms are noticeably dirty. Basic supplies such as toilet paper and hand sanitizer are difficult to get restocked. While most of the staff are attentive and polite, they appear overworked and can occasionally seem short. Tests and scans tend to take a long time, so much of the experience involves waiting without activity.

Hello, I am 41 years old and I came in for surgery on June 10th 2026. This was my first surgery and I didn't know what to except. But the women that took care of me before my surgery and during were so amazing. I ended up staying overnight. This is when my experience about this hospital changed completely. I had multiple nurses coming in my room right after surgery asking was I ready to go home. I could not keep my eyes open and I was very short of breathe. My husband and nurse Moses had to help me to the restroom because I was so weak and couldn't stand or walk by myself. Also, I was nauseous, and asked for oxygen because when I would try to rest I would stop breathing and it would scare me and wake me up. I did let my nurse know and he just laughed in my face, the experience with him was so crazy. Because he would laugh at everything I was going through or how I was feeling. Smh it was really upsetting to me. I kept saying to myself just make it to 7pm, because i knew the night shift was coming. This same nurse kept asking all day if I was ready to go home to the point I started crying. By than the head nurse came in and asked me the same thing. My husband has to explain to her that I wasn't in any shape to leave at the moment. I did stay overnight and the nurses overnight were ao amazing 👏👏🌟 Ania, Courtney and Holly took great care of me. Ania was my nurse she gave me fluids and different medication and I could feel me comes back to myself, I thank her the whole night because she made sure I was taken care of. Without her I really don't know what would have happened. Because I was in such bad shape it blows my mind to have so many people coming in my room right after mt surgery and didnt help me at all😭 but the next morning I was eating and ready to go home. I would probably not come back here or refer this hospital to my love ones. I will forever be grateful for the night staff because they made all the difference 💛

Facilities were clean staff was friendly. The most annoying thing was the amount of times I had to provide personal data with the same questions every time. Hand me a tablet when I got to the front desk, had an interview with the admissions guy, went to radiology, later admitted, prior to procedure… every time I had to provide the same information you think they could connect the dots.

I was a patient for 11 days.
My issue was with cleanliness: l had to request that the bed be changed, the bathroom cleaned please, clean gowns, clean towels!
I assumed it would be cleaned without a request.
The nurses and staff were excellent! I was on the 9 th floor.
I pray my insurance starts to pay for another hospital if I should need to be hospitalized!!!

I went to the Wound Care Center in one of the professional buildings of the HCA Complex in Webster (Clear Lake) for treatment of a chronic diabetic ulcer on my big toe. My review splits into parts. I loved Dr. Morrison and the nursing staff. Dr. Morrison would communicate his thought process and knew what would help and what to avoid. He took questions and gave detailed answers. Five stars for Dr. Morrison.

Now, the business practices....grrrrr. One star for the lack of transparency in billing. I wanted to pay my copay on each of my three visits, but was told that I would be billed since they don't take payments in the office. After my third visit, I called the business office for HCA and was told that billing occurs monthly and that they don't have the codes yet for the services.

When I went in early June, the receptionist wanted all the forms signed again for the month. I finally got the office manager involved asking what was going on with my $60 copays. He honestly didn't know how I was being billed, but he found out. I left the visit without being treated until we could get this resolved.

Unbelievably, I learned by email that each visit was being billed as an outpatient procedure with a $100.00 copay and deductibles. I haven't been billed yet from HCA hospital, but I think I'm in for a huge, unexpected bill and a fight with the billing folks. I've been to plenty of wound center visits where just my copay is taken, so this is an unpleasant surprise.

The office staff needs to pay more attention to their "you have a right to a good faith estimate" sign. My office visits were just that, office visits. In no way were these "outpatient procedures". So, an "A" for Dr. Morrison and a big, fat "F" for the business practices.

Staff and support would probably rate 4 stars, but the room I was placed in following surgery was not what I would expect in a hospital. The room was outdated and definitely not set-up to accommodate someone following back surgery. The bathroom was small and no rails were provided to assist at the toilet. The room needed repair to fix holes in sheetrock, the phone did not work, Basically, the room was in need of a total remodel.

It was a very disconnected experience at first. I had an MRI scheduled for 7a. When I arrived at 6:30 there was no one at the front desk to direct me i had to figure out wherev to go. Then when I found the admitting office. I was not greeted by a person. I was handed an ipad to check in. No one to ask questions too. No one.

After I finished the admitting process I problems finding the imaging department because there was no one to ask. Once iv found it this in radiology were very pleasant and personable. But when it was time to give me an IV the has to keep sticking me. I was stuck in both arms befote they had to send to get an ultrasound guided IV installation

TLDR: L&D was AMAZING!! Postpartum care too! My on call OB was also a saint! And the staff at the ER were nice but the receptionist was rude.
L&D: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ER receptionist: ⭐️
ER staff: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve had a double ear infection for the last 4 days. Antibiotics aren’t working. I’m in excruciating pain and when I tell the woman at the front desk I’m on antibiotics, instead of letting me finish saying it feels like my eardrum is about to rupture and I’m crying every night, she just asks me “so why are you here then?” In a rude attitude, like I’m already dealt with. Do you think I WANT to be in the freaking ER at night?! No! The reason I’m here is because for the last 2 days I can’t eat solid foods because I can’t chew, my ear canal and eardrums are on fire, the swelling is spreading, and the most sleep I’ve gotten is 3 broken hours. I don’t like being here as much as YOU don’t like me being here. But I need sleep. I have three kids and am crying all day and night in pain. I’ve tried otc meds. Every time I use the ear drop meds it’s like lava in my ears.

Edit: I’ve been seen, I do in fact have a ruptured ear drum that was so bad my entire ear was clogged with pus, so my antibiotic drops weren’t working and oral could only do so much. The staff after check in have been nothing but kind which is why I’m updating my review, and please give the doctor who put the tiny sponge things in my ear a raise. He’s been super sweet and patient as I’ve been in so much much pain!

Edit 2: I realize I never made one for my post partum experience. It was great, doctors were awesome. I had Dr. Harmouche, it he didn’t deliver me as he was in surgery and baby was popping out. He called the on call woman from his office and she was AMAZING!!! the nurses were great too!

My husband went to ICU after his 3rd brain surgery and had a stroke in the process. ICU was mostly great except for 1 nurse, then my husband went to rehab, 5th floor. We had good nurses and some learning aids/techs. I felt I needed to be there in order for my husband to not fall in the cracks. Nurse Jaqui was great, above and beyond checking on my husband, Therapist Candace, Jacob and Chris were outstanding in what they did for my husband. Week 3-4, my husband developed a lung issue and then Covid, so had to go to the 6th floor, which the care went down tremendously! My husband needed a lot of detailed care from the stroke, lungs and Covid, which I felt was not tended to very good. It was like they were not reading the notes from previous care and I had to update them. The 6th floor was not so good, so we pushed for my husband to be released. A total of 5 weeks in the hospital. I saw excellent care and I saw not so good care. I appreciate those that REALLY cared for my husband and did an excellent job for him. So thus the 3 stars, because some of his care there was good and some was not. Some are called to be a nurse and some are not. I saw both
