The room we were offered smelled like straight cigarettes. The smell was so strong and the bed sheets looked burnt/used. The tv as well did not work.

AFAIK all the rooms have an oversized shower that fits more than 2 people WITH and observation window to watch from the bed.....I think we all know what kind of hotel this is and what it's supposed to be for. My wife and I have frenquented this hotel on special occasions for a few years now and I gotta say this last stay was the worst. I had to hook up the cold water to the sink, had to hook up the cable, the "rainfall" shower head sprayed in 100 different directions, the shower door wouldn't stay closed, and the shower controls were coming off the wall. The beds are wildly uncomfortable was well.
There use to be a nice awning over the lobby area and that's been removed without trying to hide were the mounts used to be so it just looks like it fell off.
It's pretty clear to me based on multiple experiences that this property has changed hands and the new owners don't seem to care if it falls to pieces or not
