I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Joe Myers Ford. As a recent college graduate and first-time vehicle buyer, I went into this purchase expecting a professional and trustworthy experience. Unfortunately, it turned into an extremely stressful and frustrating situation.
I signed for my vehicle on July 31st, but did not actually receive it until approximately a week and a half later. When I finally received it, I had to return it the very next morning — less than 12 hours after having it — because the Level 3/DC fast-charging system was not working.
What made this even more frustrating was that I had to charge the vehicle myself on the same day I received it because the dealership had not charged it before giving it to me. My salesperson, Greg Martin, told me to go charge it myself, bring the receipt back, and get reimbursed. This was an unnecessary inconvenience that should never have been placed on the customer.
More importantly, the Level 3 charging issue should have been caught during their used-vehicle inspection. For an EV, the ability to fast charge is a major function of the vehicle. I should not have discovered this issue less than 12 hours after purchasing it.
After returning the vehicle, I spoke with Dion in the service department, who told me the part would be ordered and the repair would be completed within the week. That was not the case. They ultimately had my vehicle for approximately another week and a half because the wrong part had been ordered.
My experience with my salesperson, Greg Martin, was also very disappointing. He did not seem knowledgeable about the vehicle I was purchasing, and I received no walk-through of the vehicle whatsoever. He simply handed me the keys, did not even walk me to my vehicle, and asked me to return the rental car keys so he could continue his conversation with someone else. As a first-time buyer, I expected someone to at least explain the basic features of the vehicle and make sure I knew what I was leaving the dealership with.
My second choice before purchasing was a Dodge Durango that was also on their lot. We asked for the numbers and were repeatedly delayed. Even after leaving and calling the following morning, we still did not receive the information. We ultimately had to show up in person, only to be told that the vehicle had already been sold. Better communication could have prevented that entire situation.
While my vehicle was in their possession for roughly two weeks, the slight scuffs on the side were not addressed, and I was also never given the Tesla adapter that was promised to me.
What I found particularly unprofessional was Dion repeatedly asking my dad and me to leave a 5-star review despite all of the problems we experienced. After everything that happened, being asked for five stars felt completely inappropriate and made it seem more focused on protecting their ratings than actually addressing the customer experience.
As a recent college graduate and first-time buyer, this should have been an exciting purchase. Instead, it became weeks of waiting, unexpected problems, poor communication, and unnecessary stress. The hassle and inconvenience were simply not worth my money or my time.

I would not recommend this dealership’s service department.
My truck was in their shop for two months, and I still do not understand why the process took that long when I had a Platinum extended warranty that was supposed to help make covered repairs easier and more efficient.
When I finally got my truck back, I found damage that was not there when I dropped it off. The passenger-side A-pillar grab handle was broken, including the trim piece and mounting hardware.
The interior was also returned filthy. The steering wheel, center console, radio controls, climate controls, grab handle, and other panels were covered in greasy fingerprints and grime from the technicians handling the inside of the truck. After keeping my vehicle for two months, they could not even take a few minutes to clean up the mess they left behind.
Waiting two months despite having a Platinum warranty was frustrating enough, but returning my truck damaged and dirty was completely unacceptable. I expected professional workmanship and respect for my property, but I received neither. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this service department.

Christian was courteous, so none of this reflects on him.
I brought my vehicle in due to a recall. Coming here was the worst mistake I could have made. Now, my vehicle sounds like a diesel truck. It did NOT sound like this when I brought it in.
They supposedly changed the timing belt & all I can say is that the engine is rattling & making all kinds of noise. The worst part is that they refuse to take responsibility & accountability for whatever they did to mess up my car.
If you know an ethical Ford dealership that will help me fix my car the right way, please leave a comment & let me know because I'm not sure who I can trust. My car was fine before bringing it here. All I know is that it had a recall, so I brought it in & the nightmare has started.
UPDATE June 3, 2026: I did take my car back in to get looked at. Went to pick it back up the next day because they said nothing is wrong with it & they refuse to take accountability. A few days later, the engine light is now on, the engine jumps when you start it sometimes & now it makes another noise. I'm attaching the video. Mind you, it passed their complete 27 point inspection, or something like that.
So now, I have a vehicle making all kinds of noises, with the engine jumping, that sounds like a truck & the engine light is now on.
