On June 19th 2016 my mother was sent to Kindred Healthcare for rehabilitation after surgery from Memorial Herman NW. That was the worst experience of my life and my mother's life. My mother was found not breathing/unconscious in her room and they didn't call 911 and the staff took it upon themselves to try and treat her but I demanded that they take her to a hospital after I saw her hands were blue black. They took her back to Memorial Herman NW. I have lots of pictures from the first day until her dying day. My mother never regain conscious. My mother passed away August 4, 2016. My mother went to Memorial Herman NW so many times and emergency room I can't even count. My mother went in June around the 6th and Kindred Rehabilitation on June 19, 2016 and back to Memorial Herman in July do to unconscious and had another emergency surgery do to gangrene. I have lots and lot of pictures. This is 2022 and every time I see Herman Memorial on TV from some sort of neglect it just brings back memories. If you have parents please follow your gut feelings and take them somewhere else until you get the proper care

The hospitals hire the worst staff and there is a big disconnect between administration and front line staff. The ceo takes the bonuses and goes on vacation every month while front Line barely has money to pay the bills. Shame on the administration for just focusing on the bottom line at the stake of the suffering of families, patients, and staff. The cco’s are all incompetent, irresponsible, and only care about their paycheck and making sure all issues are swept under the rug.
